How helpful and friendly the staff was! (especially Paul and Betty Ann)
Parking was tight but still had a spot to park. Maybe they could add a chair or two in the room. Nevertheless, it was still a beautiful stay! Thank you

Right on the beach. Pool was nice and warm
I suggest getting better window treatments for privacy and darkening of the room. There were only blinds on our windows.

I liked that there was a cafe on the premises for breakfast and lunch and that the motel was on the beach and 5 blocks from Jenkinson Pier.

The view was stunning and staff were super friendly.
Water temp-I even made sure that I hadn’t run the water, etc. I was up early and took showers then and in the evening, and no matter what the water was cold.
The outlet next to the bed didn’t allow my iPhone charger to stay plugged in because it was so loose. For the amount of money being spent for each night, the small things should be fixed.

The picture was deceiving. We thought we could at least look out the windows. We were stuck in a corner room with no way to look out the windows. Forget seeing the ocean.
Clearer explanation of what it really was. It was disappointing. We talked about getting our money back.

This is our first stay at the Driftwood Motel and we were impressed! The quality of this motel was excellent. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable with a nice size mini fridge, large closet and a beautiful bathroom - you can tell the rooms have been nicely upgraded, I especially liked the tiled shower. The AC unit kept the room very cool and comfortable. Nice tables with umbrellas along the pool where you can grab breakfast, lunch or a snack at their cafe and have views of the pool, beach and ocean. The Driftwood sits on a private beach so you don't have the typical large groups of tourists like if you were up by the boardwalk. Very family oriented motel and area with kind staff. They have a private parking lot which is super close to your room for easy unloading even if you are on second floor. The beach in front of their motel is literally only steps away from your room which makes it easy to bring chairs, umbrellas, etc. I believe the motel was sold out the night we were there but it didn't feel busy - still felt very private! We will definitely be back!!

Closeness to beach. The little snack stand was great. Walkable to boardwalk and to other end.

Had it's own beach with lifeguards. Walkable distance to boardwalk.
Parking is tight. Needs a hose outside to rinse off sandy kids. We brought a lot of sand into the room.

The Driftwood Motel was clean and newly renovated. Beautiful place with a great staff, beautiful ocean view, wonderful pool and a little cafe.
When it was time to pack our bags. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The room itself and the bathroom were both a good size. The decor had a clean, beachy vibe to it. It was obvious the room was recently updated/painted. It even had a clean smell to it. There is also a private beach and it was not crowded at all.
The only thing that was a mild issue was the parking. We drove in a big SUV and the parking was tight.
There was only one mirror and it is in the bathroom. It would be nice to have another mirror somewhere in the room.
Niether of these issues will prevent me from booking this hotel in the future.

Owners were very sweet helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Sights to see locations.
I would have loved a microwave in the Room. That was it. Every thing else was perfect.

There is no breakfast here. We didn't know about the snack bar. There is no kettle, coffee machine and microwave in the room. There is no restaurant or cafe nearby either. Parking is very narrow. Shared balcony.

Locks were broken on the door to room, missing chain and deadbolt. You needed to shake the key to open the door which would take at least 10 mins. Front desk clerk was missing and could not find. Bed was broken. Had to leave after 6 hours with no refund. Contacted Booking.com for a requested refund and the Driftwood denied my request.

One of the worst places, I had the worst experience. It's so noisy if you are staying in a lower floor unit period. You can hear every step and stumping of the units upstairs. I would never stay in this location again. Not worth it.
Way over priced, parking was difficult. I had to park in the street, parking lot was not spaced out well.

Area. Bed comfy. Easy private access to the beach. Free parking.
Not what I had booked. Had booked room with ocean view. Patio area to walk through to beach felt awkward walking through, especially at night when there was a large party going on with obvious alcohol consumption. One guy peed just past benches at night.
Lights right outside door attracted small bugs so when door opened, they flew in.
Woman who checked me in seemed to be put out by having to do so.. Found container of hand sanitizer behind the mini fridge.
Supposed to have snack bar though no one told us where to find it.

The woman at the front desk was not nice and very grumpy. None of bedside outlets or lights worked. No microwave.

the women that works in the office and others are not the most friendly people we asked where the microwave was that our room was to have she fist said let her finish her cigarette...then while actually helping said she has no idea where the microwaves are and we needed to wait for the cleaning people show up which of course wouldnt be there till the next day....like really snotty...thank God the cleaning people were nice and bought it to us after I hunted them down...

The motel had a nice courtyard area to sit and relax in. Having it's own private beach was the best, even if it needed to be cleaned up a little.
Other then some trash on the beach, there wasn't anything we didn't like. The changing room could have been cleaner as well.

Room was clean. Pool are was maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is tight but manageable.
Parking is tight. Room price was alittle high but I guess in this economy it's to be expected.
