We were delighted by our weeklong stay at this charming and cozy house. The kitchen and bathroom are freshly updated with many lovely and thoughtful touches. The back yard is truly an oasis, with several secluded seating areas and a deck for enjoying the garden, trees and fresh mountain air. And the bedrooms are comfy, exceeding our expectations for a rental by a long shot. The entire house was spotless and in perfect condition when we arrived. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The public West End Beach is a short walk, and we could glimpse the beautiful lake from the front deck. Downtown Truckee and Donner Pass are both a short drive away, providing us with wonderful dining choices as well as epic hiking. Whether swimming, rafting, kayaking or hiking, we were happy to return to this wonderful house after a day enjoying all that the Truckee area has to offer. The owners were very responsive. We could tell they put a lot of love into this house. We can't wait to come back!

What a gem! Great location with easy walk to beach. The cabin has everything you need from kitchen amenities to very comfy beds... not to mention the bunkhouse-a great retreat for the grandparents! Upstairs was a perfect fit for our son and his family giving them their own space. The back patio is private and serene. A nice place to enjoy your evening. There are just so many nice touches that are there to enhance your stay. A lot of thought was put into this property. It was comfortable for 6 adults and three kiddos(ages 6, 2 1/2 and 3 mos old). We enjoyed the close proximity to Truckee. One day floating the river, one day visiting Truckee downtown and two days on the beach... in between walks and fishing. Judy, the owner is awesome. Very responsive. It was the perfect place to take our family for our annual vacation and we hope to return! Thank you Judy!!
