We have been coming to the Big Bear area for several years. There are so many things to do anytime of the year. Coming from the San Diego area, winter is special for our family to experience the snow and cold. By far this property has been our best choice to stay at for our annual adventures. Everything was there as promised. Yes, you will need four wheel drive to get up the driveway with any snow as we found out! One of the features of the cabin that was a pleasant surprise, our full size Ford F350 Crew Cab Long Bed 4 Wheel Drive Truck fit inside the garage with the door closed, along with our Toyota Four Runner. It was nice not to have to clean off the snow before heading out. Our host Alon was easy to communicate with and accommodated our family very well.

Propane tank empty, Bdrm/shower door did not close(hinge) ONE coffee pod in the entire cabin, no matches/lighter to light the 1 piece of firewood provided, rugs stained not vacuumed, 4 lights had bad bulbs. Bedroom headboard had wood protruding out. Would not recommend this property..Overpriced.

Really nice big house for a weekend stay in Big Bear, far enough from town to be very quiet but close to some nice hiking trails. The views of the mountains and lake were a nice surprise!

This house was awesome! It’s absolutely gorgeous and that beautiful wood cabin in the mountains you dream of. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 are in the main house and then they have an added 2nd master attached to the garage; it’s where the game room is. The living room is super cozy with couches and a tv with cable, games and lots of space with a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with a beautiful large dining table. The driveway is steep and chains are needed during the snow. It was shoveled nicely when we got there. The location is ideal as it is super close to bear mountain. We walked the neighborhood a few times, found random place to sled. It was a great time for Christmas with my family.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful and charming house. The only thing that I can think of that can improve is to be clear about the toiletries. There weren’t shampoo or body wash which caused some inconvenience. Other than that. We had a great time!

Gorgeous location with mountain and lake views in a fantastic neighborhood. Very cozy rustic feel with plenty of room for everyone! The custom wood furniture was SO cute! Everyone in the group really enjoyed their stay.

This cabin was wonderful so much attention to detail. The views were breathtaking. I would definitely come back. The kitchen was well stocked with every to cook.

Very nice and cozy house. Nice views. House has everything we needed. The only issue was 2 couches. I think it is time to replace them. Other than that, the group loved the house.

We rented this place for a father and sons weekend. The house was nice, beds were nice, but a couple things we feel were not fair. First, the VRBO ad stated AC, there is NO AC. Next the ad / profile states hot tub and their is NO mention of an additional fee. When we got to the home, the instructions in the home stated an additional fee to use the Jacuzzi. We felt this was a bait and switch,and we have stayed at may homes that don't charge for the use of a jacuzzi. Next, the ping pong table didn't have any working paddles. The owner stated they had ordered some, but we didn't have any to use. The couches in the TV room are terrible. There is no real seat cushion and you are sitting on the frame. Other couches in that room are super hard. Some of the ceiling fans didn't function fully, and in the summer ceiling fans are needed. Some of the windows don't stay open. We wouldn't stay at this home again unless these items are corrected. We informed the owner about all of these items, and we received no refund for items that I believe we should have received some refund for. For example, stating AC, not stating a fee for the Jacuzzi, and bad couches.

My family of 7 had the most amazing time during our stay at Moonridge. The views from the cabin are stunning and we had a magical snowfall for our three night stay leading up to Christmas Eve!! We took advantage of all the cabin had to offer, played games by the fire, the kids went hot tubbing after a day on the slopes and we made such great memories here. My daughter and her boyfriend were home for the holidays as they live in Ireland and it made for a very special mountain winter wonderland Christmas getaway. The only drawback for the property is the treacherous driveway, which was disclosed on the paperwork and the owners did state that it was tricky in the winter time. Thankful for the three snow shovels in the garage because we did have to dig a clearance in the driveway to get out. I also have a big Yukon so it made it a little trickier than a smaller car would have been. Other than that this was such an enjoyable home, close proximity to everything we needed and stunning views all the way around. I would Love to stay here again in the summer months.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful cabin! There is a great view from all the balconies and stargazing from the hot tub was definitely a highlight of the trip. The house is huge while still feeling like a cozy cabin. The home was very clean, nicely decorated and furnished with comfy beds. The amenities and essentials provided made for a very relaxing and memorable trip. The owner was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend to others and would love to stay again!

Our overall experience was great. The cabin was exactly as it shows on the pictures, beautiful! Great location, great decor & great Mountain View’s from all balconies. The only reason why I will not be giving them a 5 star rating is because the house has way too many rules & maybe that’s comon when renting on vrbo/Airbnb but we don’t like it. We were charged a cleaning fee of $200 but we were instructed to clean the entire cabin ourselves or we would be charged an Additional fee. We also had to take our own trash with us, which was a complete hassle. Those are only 2 out of the page long list of rules that was pinned to the refrigerator, we enjoyed our stay but the rules were a bit much.

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for 4 nights and 3 days and we loved it just as much as our kids did. Everything was very clean, nice, and comfortable. The access code we were given via email did not work and when I texted the host he contacted me within seconds with a new code- thank you! (We were all standing at the front door shivering and really appreciated that!) There were plenty of towels, pillows, linens for our big family - everything was easy and convenient. The heat was on in the cabin and the hot tub was ready to go - very welcoming. Thank you for making our holiday stay so wonderful!

The log home is gorgeous inside and out! Very lodge like, 3 levels in the house, you could almost get lost! Very steep driveway, if you stay here in winter months, stop at K Mart and get ice melting salt to help get up the driveway, although my Jeep made it up without any problems. Great views from any room in the house. The owner was very easy to get in contact with, quick response to text messages. Lots of stairs! Good cardio workout! Loved this beautiful home!

First time renting a cabin in big bear and I must say I will rent this place again. The rental process was smooth and painless. Once I arrived at the location the cabin is very impressive from the outside and extraordinary from the inside. I was impressed by the large family area with surround sound made watching movies excellent. The bedrooms were great size and clean. Downstairs it has a mini game room (ping pog table). The mountain views are breathe taking and large deck area. They have all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay! Lastly, the owners of the property are very welcoming and understanding. I recommend this place for any family!
