The home was in a great location and was spacious and well appointed. Ran into small but numerous issues (bedroom door wouldn’t close all the way or lock, handle fell off of the oven (while getting out the turkey) with glass almost landing on the floor-luckily my husband is savvy and fingernail tightened the screws, no fan in master bath, could barely open doors to use washer/dryer, no hot water on our last night and no return phone call until the following morning, all of the ice in the freezer had strong fishy smell, top bunk was so loud and squeaky that our 4 yo ended up sleeping in a different room and finally the bike tires were all flat. The worst part was that we had an almost break in and called the owner as the door lock was destroyed. We were told that she would have her SIL come in but that he was 2.5 hours away. We understood and made it work, though it would have been nice to have someone more local to assist. We are a pretty easy going family and don’t expect perfection, but there were just a lot of hiccups with this rental in comparison to beach rentals over the past 15 years. The owner seemed very sweet, and I’m sure that it’s difficult to manage a listing when you’re not local, but there were many frustrations over the 6 day period. I think the home is great but just needs a lot of TLC.

We stayed at this property for a weekend and it was fantastic. Location was great, property was ready to use, and owners were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a stay!
