I came with my friend to see a concert. Arun was super helpful during our stay! She made a great list of places to check out and made us feel super welcome! Also, I was worried about parking but we could always find a parking spot no matter what time we got back.

Lovely place in Glassell Park -- very close to Eagle Rock, Occidental, and Highland Park. Great, helpful hosts -- terrific communication and great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

I've recommended to others and will likely be back again, if I can afford it. The bedroom has a double bed, not queen, which was fine for 1 person or 2 small people and it was a lovely place for family to drop by (checked with hosts about that and they had no problem.) I bought a pour-over rather than use the coffee machine and I worried about the step up to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so decided to leave the bathroom light on. The laundry and TV/Wifi were nice amenities. The place was comfy, and clean with beautiful views. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed in this apartment while dropping our son off at Occidental College. It's very close by and provided a cool and calm retreat during all the activity. The hosts were efficient and welcoming, the neighborhood is quiet and walkable, and there are many restaurants/amenities close by. We'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Arun and Willie's place for a couple days while dropping off a kid at college. Location was ideal for our needs, and the place was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Centrally located for many parts of Los Angeles. Hosts were kind, accommodating and communicative at every step, including meeting us despite a late arrival time to give us a thorough walk-through. I'd definitely stay there again.

It was great to find Toland Way which was a 10 minute walk to visit our first grandchild. Toland Way was a fantastic facility that met all our needs. Hosts were very attentive and made sure we had anything we needed. The location is perfect for access to the Glendale and Ventura Freeways. Enjoy!!!!

My two kids and I really enjoyed our time at Arun's place! The apartment was cozy and charming, with all the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. Arun was a great host, attentive yet respectful of our privacy. The location is just a few blocks from the highway, with lots of family-friendly restaurants nearby. Clean, warm and spacious, it was just what we needed for a fun week exploring LA!

I wonderful place and great communication.

The home was fantastic in every way. We needed a place to stay during our tour of colleges in the Los Angeles. It was not only a perfect location for us to see a variety of schools: USC, Chapman, Loyola, and Occidental. We could even pop over to Hollywood to do a bit of touring around. The neighborhood was sweet, parking was easy, home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Furthermore, Arun and her husband were such wonderful hosts. They were welcoming and helpful. The only reason I was hesitant to write a review was because we are hoping our daughter will get into Occidental, and I plan to stay in this VRBO every, single time I go to LA. However, if I share how great it is with others, it may be booked when I need it! Can't say enough about how much I loved this home! Thank you Arun and family!

The owners are very nice and thoughtful - checked regularly to be sure everything was working well, and provided a lot of information on the area (things to see, restaurants to visit, etc.). The space worked great for the two of us. It was easy to get around from this location (very close to the 2 freeway which made it easy to go north or south and connect to other roads). You do have to climb a few steps to get to the front door, but it wasn't a big problem. Thanks for the hospitality!

This apartment is the best air bnb I have ever rented. The owners live upstairs, which could seem annoying, but they never bothered me. The apartment was stocked with coffee, teas, fresh half-and-half, spaghetti makings because I got in late, fresh bagels and cream cheese. It was well equipped for cooking. The bathroom had nice towels, soaps, extras. It is up stairs, so one must be able to navigate steps. I didn't have any needs while I was there, but Arun and her husband would have readily responded, unlike other places I have rented. The apartment was immaculate, neat, nicely appointed. One must have a car. Would stay here again.

I spent four nights with my mother. Arun was a very kind and gracious host - helpful with making sure my elderly mother was able to safely navigate getting in and out of the unit. The apartment was perfect for our needs - very clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this rental!

We enjoyed staying in this place, felt like home the moment we walked in. The owners are very welcoming and have plenty of useful suggestions about how to spend time in LA. The restaurant they suggested was exceptional! The property is the first floor of the house, but it has a separate entrance and we had plenty of privacy. The neighborhood is quiet, but this is what we wanted after spending full days in lively/crazy areas of LA. Will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable bed (small, a queen size would be better), open living space, lots of natural light from large windows, nice kitchen area, good size kitchen table with four chairs. Fresh and clean. No surprises, was as described on VRBO. Very friendly, responsive, and accommodating owners! Great location for us. We'd stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed a week in Arun's pleasant apartment. The decor is charming and interesting, showing off treasures from the family's travels far and wide. The kitchen and bath are well stocked with everything one needs and more. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom has closet space, hangers, a mirror to name a few of the amenities provided as promised. We relaxed on our private terrace at the end of a day of touring and looked out on the trees and hills beyond Eagle Rock Blvd. The location was good for our plans, being very accessible to freeways, close to Pasadena and to Griffith Park, Warner Bros Studios, etc. There is a bus very nearby to downtown, but we chose to take Lyft to the South Pasadena Metro (15 minutes ride) from which in another 15 minutes we were in the LA Civic Center! No hassle. There are markets and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive of the apartment -- they totally met our needs. Arun and Willie were most gracious hosts. We felt very welcome and at home during our holiday in LA.

The place was a lower level apartment of a nicely maintained older two-story home, set in a freeway close hillside community. My worst drive into downtown LA was 35 minutes, best was 12 (Sunday AM). There is a 20 or so step stairway that leads to the front door from the street. Street parking was available each night. The accommodations were stellar - The owner, Arun, met me when I arrived and walked me through all the features - laundry, nicely appointed kitchen, heaters, A/C, lights, satellite TV, internet, etc. Instructions were displayed everywhere in case I missed or forgot what she had told me. She also had a nice welcome basket with makings for a spaghetti dinner and other snacks - very cool touch! The neighborhood was very peaceful and seemed very safe. The unit was very spacious and had everything I needed. I felt right at home. The bed was a double which was fine for me, if my wife had been along she would have preferred at least a queen size. I will definitely want to stay here again on any future business trips into the downtown LA area.

Excellent! Apartment was convenient to LAX. Very clean and very well maintained, it us just as pictured in the listing. We stayed for 2 nights, with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. Plenty of room for all 4 of us. Arun was a delight. She is very friendly and helpful! We wish we could have stayed longer. If we return to LA we will definitely book this unit again. Parking was ample and the street was safe. We had no issues while there. We did a lot of sight seeing in LA, and it was convenient to many places. We highly recommend!!

We stayed for three nights while visiting LA to see a friend who lived nearby. It was a very nice place, room enough for two adults and two small kids, full kitchen and dining table. Arun was very welcoming, good at communicating and even left some food to get us started. She stayed up late to meet us after a late flight and was very kind, but kept her distance to allow us our own space.
