Great property

A stay at this home in the Mauna Lani Golf Villas is a great way to enjoy this part of the Island. Most importantly, our host was super communicative and helpful throughout. The home itself was beautiful and fully loaded with all the necessities of a restful and fun vacation by our family of 7 (five adults, an infant and a toddler). We were just steps from the beautiful pool and only a 5 min drive or bike ride to the beach with all the amenities. It's a great swimming beach AND snorkeling spot. The host provided all the bikes and beach toys needed to maximize our use of the pool and beach too. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation one to remember!

This is easily the best place we've stayed in Hawaii. The property was incredibly clean, it's steps from a beautiful and quiet pool and hot tub, and so many amenities in the garage for all your Hawaii adventures, fully stocked kitchen with quality appliances made for a wonderful stay. The master bedroom is wonderful, and the space feels so big. Also, the game table is great for a puzzle to wind down after a day at the ocean. Book this place, you won't regret it!

Perfect space for 2 kids, parents and grandparents. Hapuna beach nearby, can get into Hilton pools if you buy passes (which we did on a day too windy for the beach). Has everything you need. Grounds are beautiful. More peaceful area to me than waikoloa but king/queen shops are close enough. Pool was steps away and never crowded. Beach club is nice and easy, you can walk the fishponds and to the auberge hotel from there. Personal touches for us when we arrived was wonderful. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the villas. It was a great landing pad for our adventures around the island. The hosts are quick to answer any questions even where to play pickle ball! The pool was right out the back door and wonderful. The kitchen was great to cook in and well stocked.

this was our second stay at this unit. last time, it was 3 of us, this time, 7. i was apprehensive that 7 people would be all over each other, but the roomy design helped as some would be upstairs and others down. we appreciated the well stocked kitchen (spices and coffee!), the tupperware, the great pans, rice cooker /slow cooker, etc. despite being conveniently close to the pool and gym, it was nice and quiet. easy drive to sights, great beaches, shopping, grocery or even walk or bike. some of use took advantage of the bikes in the garage and we loved it. this unit has it all. the kiddos played lots of card games on the card table and we were so happy they were not always screening. the owners?/property managers are responsive, accommodating, and just all in all, considerate and easy to work with and i appreciated their help so much. lovely aloha gift included! you will love this beautiful unit!

Great location for a family vacation. Pool access is excellent and a close drive or bike ride to the beach. Highly recommend this comfortable townhome. One warning: the stove dials are easily turned on by just brushing them as you access the cabinets. We found the far left one on multiple times which could be quite dangerous. Would definitely return.

I highly recommend this property! Everything was as advertised and was even nicer than the photos. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again. If there was one thing I could change, it would be some of the mattresses. They were not the most comfortable but we were fine overall. I would say that if you need a well supporting or firm mattress, you may not sleep so well on these beds. We loved the layout of the condo and it worked very well for us and our two teenage kids. Everyone had enough space! the location is also really good. Although it is not walking distance to the nearest cafés or stores, it is just a short three minute drive. The bikes were a nice touch. We had fun riding them around the neighborhood. Also, the pool was fantastic. hope to stay again!

I stayed at the condo with my family. Check-in process was smooth and the host was very responsive and helpful. The unit was located right across the pool that was convenient especially since we had toddlers. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable.

This lovely, spacious condo was perfect for our family of six and was a huge part of our vacation enjoyment. The location is great and the house is equipped with everything we needed or could have wanted. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. If we return to the Big Island again this will be our first choice to stay. We highly recommend this condo, you will not regret it.

I can't explain enough how fantastic our stay was here! The pool is right outside the backyard and the private beach is absolutely amazing and a quick drive and bike ride away with the included bikes was a huge hit with the family! The property was clean and fantastic, 3 beds, and 3 baths worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was excellent, the only complaint was that the fridge wouldn't stay quite cold enough, but I will reach out to the manager and expect that to be fixed quickly. I cannot suggest this location enough!

This 3 bedroom/bath home is well sized and located for a family. Access to the private beach was easy. The bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas were a plus.

My husband booked this condo for my 75th birthday visit. Our youngest daughter, her husband and 5 year old granddaughter stayed with us. What a great location! We walked across the grassy garden to the pool and enjoyed snorkeling at the Mauna Lani beach club. Everything was clean and worked well. We will book here again.

Beautiful property with pristinely manicured grounds in gated community. Close to pool and work out facility. Easy access to golf, beaches, and marketplace all within Mauna Lani development. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We have been to the Big Island numerous time, this is our first VRBO. The condo location is perfect, bikes included were such a bonus and the condo offered everything we needed. The only downside is the neighborhood has strict quiet hours, so for us on a 6 hr time difference morning coffee outside was restricted, along with star gazing.

We've stayed in the area before; this was our first time staying at the Golf Villas. We really enjoyed how close it is to the Beach Club and that it is smaller than other complexes. The condo was perfect for our family, the close access to the pool was a plus. We all rode the bikes to the market together, which was a lot of fun, great that this condo offers this extra amenity. It has enough space to have your family spend time together and get their down time too. If you're looking for a home base for your vacation, this rental is a very good option.

This was a very clean property. It had everything that we needed in this property. One thing is that the dinning chairs are becoming worn down and need to be replace. We had a great time here.

Loved it. The location and property are great. Very easy to communicate with owners…had a couple of glitches which they took care of immediately. The beach club and bikes were added bonus. I’d recommend.

After loading up on groceries at Costco, we drove the short 35min trip north through the black lava fields and came to the beautiful Puako area. The townhouse is nestled within a gated community that is surrounded by a manicured golf course. We were quickly surprised by how perfect the three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse was for us. My in-laws, wife and toddler, were staying in the house, the ground floor bedroom was perfect for the grandparents, no stairs to climb, while the mastesuite was spacious and had its own balcony for quiet morning coffees. Who am I kidding, with a busy toddler none of our mornings could be described as quiet but thanks to the green grass and 100 step distance to the pool we were able to easily keep him entertained. Speaking of the pool, it was perfect for our toddler to learn to swim. The deepest part is only chest high for an adult but it has many sitting edges and stairs for new swimmers to explore. There were multiple families swimming but with the unique shape of the pool it always felt like we had our own little spot. There is also a hot tub, that my wife and I were able to use later in the evening while the grandparents were putting the kiddo down for the night. There are many lounge chairs and even a BBQ in the pool area to use. The townhouse grants access to an exclusive beach which is only a 5 min drive or 10 min bike ride away. The parking lot fills up quickly in the morning so I actually had to drive the family to the beach drop them off with all the towels and then drive back to the unit and ride a bike back to the beach. It was easy and made the dip in the ocean feel like a reward. Where did I get the bike from you may ask, it is free to use as part of the rental. I believe there were at least 5 beach cruisers for use, as well as sand toys, pool noodles, beach chairs, basically everything you could need. The house also has everything you could want, laundry machine and dryer, dishwasher, large fridge and plenty of cupboard space to unpack all of the groceries. Large dinner table inside as well as a great outdoor covered area to dine alfresco. Also a great outdoor cooking area with a BBQ for grilling up a meal after a long day swimming. The area is quiet at night perfect to get some rest or just a short drive from restaurants, like the lava lava club if you want to get out. Can't say enough good things about the house or the quick professional responses from our hosts. Book now, thank me later.

This luxury home is everything a VRBO should be! 1) Beautifully decorated and maintained home. 2) Gorgeous resort surroundings, including beach and golf. 2) Excellent, helpful owner communications. 3) Fully equipped kitchen, even birthday cake candles! 4) Garage filled with bikes, beach equipment and kids play toys. We hated to leave, and would return in a heartbeat!

We loved the unit! It was perfect for our needs! It was a beautiful unit - clean, stocked kitchen, lots of room, centrally located, very quick to respond to questions, had access to the beach with amazing snorkeling opportunities, amazing amenities, and so much more! We definitely would stay here again!

My family and I (6 adults 2 small kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Big Island, much credited to the amazing amenities provided at the condo. The place was spacious, clean, welcoming, and fully stocked (bathrooms, kitchen, and the garage!). The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and provided us with water, snacks, and a personalized beach bag. The condo and the community is extremely kid friendly, including the nearby private beach, which also had great snorkeling. I would definitely stay here again.

This location was ideal for our family. The Villa is super comfortable and we loved it. The swimming pool is right outside our back porch and it is great! We loved spending time at the beach club as well. I had a few minor questions that were answered in a timely manner by Laurie. Thank you for that!!

This is our second time renting this beautiful home and we cant wait for our third! This end unit is located, in what we feel is the best area of all the Golf Villas. There is a huge grassy area for the grandkids to play and it is steps to the pool. Thank you Laurie & Kevin for welcoming us back with the special beach bag and goodies! We'll be back! Our group of 7 (3 teens, parents, grandparents) had a fantastic stay at this property. We appreciated the excellent kitchen and comfortable furnishings, as well as having multiple bathrooms. The location was a highlight, being a great base from which we explored both near and far. We would not hesitate to stay again!

This house served us well as a home base. However, most or the advertised extra amenities and beach items were either broken, mismatched or both. For example, we arrived to what appeared to be ample snorkel and fin sets only to find that it was actually 5-6+ sets of broken fins mixed in with some good and usable fins and no usable masks or snorkels. It feels more like a dumping ground of old cast-off gear. Even the bikes, which we were all very excited about, were either broken, flat or both. We arrived to smoke alarms beeping and a broken faucet. The manager was accessible but it took a while to find the beeping smoke alarm as it had been tucked away in a random bag in the locked owners closet. The home was nice enough and could be great with some maintenance and upkeep as it looks and feels like a full time rental with needed attention and TLC to an aging unit.
