The size was perfect for our family, location is great for walking to town and it was so clean! Rebooking another stay there!

Adventures and new beginnings were our goal for this trip and it surpassed all of our expectations. Cute town and wonderful rental for a home like stay and peaceful, trusting neighborhood .

Nice comfortable two bedroom duplex, clean and just blocks from downtown and Lake Charlevoix. The walk in shower and the ramp in the garage were appreciated by mobility impaired senior citizen. This is the second time we have stayed at this home and the third time with the property owners-they are the best!

We enjoyed a lot this home very well located

We liked almost everything about the property and were glad it was well appointed with diverse but useful things like a bicycle pump for the bikes, some cooking materials such as spices, toothpicks and coffee filters and spare batteries for the remote controls. One thing that's weird is that the two bathroom exhaust fans are wired in tandem with each other with a two-way switch on each, so finally after two weeks, we figured out why we might think we turned one fan on before starting a shower, then see that it had been mysteriously turned off before we turned off the water. The worst thing about the house is the side-loading washing machine that hardly puts any water on the clothes to wash or rinse. Even after only using a cap full of detergent when starting the first cycle and using two full wash cycles with three extra rinses each (so, three hours) the “high efficiency” washer was terribly inefficient at getting the soap out. I had to spend 25-30 minutes manually rinsing each load to get all of the soap out (and they were far from being large loads). So, because of these bad clothes washing chores, we’d only stay at this property again for 7-9 days at the most unless a top-loading washing machine that actually fills up with water to wash and rise, is installed.

Very nice place quiet and peaceful

We use this as our go to ski stay in Boyne City. Nice and clean, great owners and close to downtown and Boyne Mountain.

We decide to take our yearly ski vacation to northern Michigan this year, it was the best yet. This house meet all our needs and was amazing. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. You won’t be disappointed in this place.

Everything about our time here was so appreciated! It was spotless, well stocked, and included little touches that made it feel like home away from home, such as the table opened up and set for 5 and labeled switches throughout so we knew exactly which did what. We loved playing the Best Friends game after a day of skiing, as well as having a fire in the cute backyard. The location was perfect - 10 mins from Boyne Mt. and a few blocks walk to charming downtown BC. Cozy and comfortable - we’ll be back!

Myself, my daughter and two of her friends stayed for a weekend of skiing. I would definitely book again, our next trip out!

My mom and I travel to northern Michigan every Fall to see the colors. Our usual place was to stay was booked but the owners told me their family members had another home in town for rent so we decided to look into it. We booked this and were thrilled. Very, very clean and so cute. Location was perfect for us. It was too cool and rainy to walk to town but the drive was literally a minute. The owners provided great instructions and even texted earlier in the day to remind us of the basic information for getting into the house. We are so happy to know we now have 2 options for booking in the future😊.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Lot’s of little extras you won’t get elsewhere. So convenient to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. I have stayed here twice and would definitely stay again. Nice quiet neighborhood and nice back yard.

Well-maintained, cozy place in a perfect location just a few blocks from everything — the water, grocery store, farmers market and downtown Boyne City shops, bars and restaurants. Rick & Diane are great hosts!

This is the VRBO all properties should model. Immaculate down to the kitchen stoneware & cutlery and everything perfectly maintained in working order. Hosts provide useful instructions throughout (heating, SmartTV, labeled switches). Extras include firewood/recycling in garage with remote opener. Our only regret was rainy weather prevented trying out the bikes (even an arthritis-friendly foot-brake model!) Maybe next time...

The home has everything you need for a great vacation home. Lovely fire pit out back, and the house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The street is quiet with very little traffic and just a short walk to town. Enjoyed our stay and the owners are top notch.

Very nice place to stay. The house had everything you need for your stay. Close to Boyne Mountain for skiing and just a couple of blocks to downtown Boyne City. This was our first time staying in Boyne City and we had no idea how nice the downtown area is.

Short ride to Boyne Mountain. Many places to eat. Very clean and cozy home away from home. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there. I would recommend this place to everyone.
