I can’t say enough about this location. It wasn’t easy to find, but one you do, it is amazing. The house was clean and very well done; it is large and would be a great place for a large family. The porch? Well I want one! The porch had wonderful views and lots of comfortable seating. The only drawback to the whole stay is that I didn’t have a longer reservation to enjoy it! It will be a top choice for future stays in the area. Kaye was a wonderful host. We were late arriving and had some trouble finding it in the dark. Kaye came out and met us and led us to the house. Her willingness to do this and the friendly manner in which it was done was enough to rate her as THE top host! We also texted her about restaurants in the area and she was always very responsive and helpful. Gramma K, - you are the BEST!

We had a great stay! There’s plenty of room at this house and it was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The view from the back porch is so peaceful! Our only trouble was it was late when we arrived and had a hard time finding our home but even then Kaye woke up and helped us make it to our destination. She was the sweetest host!

My family and I absolutely adored this home and it had everything we needed. Couldn’t have stayed at a more beautiful place! The views were stunning and the porch was the porch of our dreams. When we come back, I know we will be staying at this property!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The sunsets over the valley views from the amazing back porch were wonderful. The downstairs was spacious and easily accommodated the 6 of us with room for plenty more. The host and her husband live upstairs, but for those wanting privacy, this is not an issue. They make it clear that you can make plenty of noise and that the sound doesn't carry upstairs. They also will not intrude on your space. However, we did reach out via text to Gramma kk and we had the opportunity to meet her when she brought us cinnamon rolls. We all enjoyed talking to her and my son asked a lot of questions about trails and she was a wealth of information. Her family has been in Ponca for generations. Thanks again for such an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again if we came back this way.

This property was excellent, and Grama KK was a gracious host! This is the basement of her house, but that is not an issue, there’s ample space for groups up to 10. Only one shower tho, so if you’re active, you’ll have to arm wrestle for dibs...

My two young teen children and I met with my Dad, Brother and Sister-in-law and their three early teen kids from three states. We really enjoyed the spacious setting of Gramma KKs lower level. Tee had everything you could think of possibly needing stocked in the home, & our hosts were very kind and hospitable. The beds were comfortable and the porch was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved listening to the wildlife outside while sitting in the comfort of the screened in porch and the rain on the tin roof!

Some of us even slept out there one night as the rain came down on the steel roof. GrandmaKK was wonderful and always answered my calls. We had so much space. The living area was great for lounging. There were tables and chairs for so much more than our group. We walked the property and enjoyed looking at the horses. It was minutes for our hikes and canoe outfitter. The kitchen was stocked and plenty of everything! I highly recommend this place for your stay!

This property is in a wonderful location for hiking and exploring the Upper Buffalo. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the living room and other areas of the house are. The host was quick to respond to few questions and needs we had. Had a wonderful time and will look to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely spectacular views from the huge back porch. The house itself is large with many areas to congregate and there were plenty of supplies for us to cook breakfasts and dinners. The location is perfect for hiking as it is close to a lot of really great trailheads. Kaye was an incredibly gracious host - she responded to any questions very quickly and was helpful in providing directions and tips. We will definitely be back!

I organized this trip for my boyfriends 30th birthday. I had his family and friends fly in from CA, CO, AZ and the rest of us drove from Louisiana. Our trip was a week ago and we still cannot stop talking about the comfort of this house, the breathtaking view, and the priceless moments we shared. The place is clean and has everything you need and more! Kaye and her husband were more than welcoming, and we truly could not have had a better time. Would HIGHLY recommend and we definitely can’t wait to go back.

This place is amazing! The owners live above the place, but this place is HUGE. It’s basically a house on top of a house. The owners are pleasant and the house has everything you need. We never saw them until check-out day when they stopped by to introduce themselves. The back porch view is absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place for our family vacation to spend some quality time together. We definitely plan on making this a yearly thing!

We came down for a weekend to float the Buffalo River. We had 9 people, 2 families and had plenty of room. We used the grill, all the kitchen appliances and had everything we needed, only had to bring food. The owners live upstairs but we never heard them or saw them until we checked out, we had complete privacy. The living room was very large, plenty of room to relax and the huge screened- in deck is incredible. Lots of seating, oil lamps, games and everything we needed to enjoy the time outside.
