The house is beautiful, the kitchen is fantastic. Views from everywhere. Nice quiet neighborhood. Seemed to be mostly vacation rentals and only a few were occupied. We saw lots of deer, almost every day. On the last day I was sitting on the back porch drinking some tea and 5-6 deer just walked up from around the side of the house and then down into the wooded area behind the house. It was pretty cool to see them so close! Location was great, grocery stores and shopping just a minute down the street. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to put some kind of curtain on the front door. Its very close to the street and we felt like anyone could see right in and down the hall. We ended up hanging up a sheet so that we could have some privacy when we were walking around down stairs. Other than that, everything was great. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Very clean and relaxing ! The deer in the back yard playing was fun. I definitely will come back to this home.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for 8. Wide variety of books and board games for the kids. Hot tub was warm, clean, and comfortable. I noticed a lot of other properties with the Meredith logo all around town which was really nice because I was able to identify where I wanted to stay on our next vacation to Lincoln city.

Perfect location at Road’s End, huge house just as described. Very clean during the pandemic, easy to contact management about late check out. Would stay again!

The house had a great layout. A large open living area upstairs with view of the ocean off the decks and hot tub. Lots of puzzles, books, and games and short walk to the beach. House is very new in a new neighborhood. Beautiful homes all around.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was well equipped and had a great layout. Our only complaint was the WiFi was slow.

This home was very spacious for three people and one dog. The description said there were two full baths and one half bath. Imagine our delight in finding a second half bath! The keypad to enter the house is on the back door which seems a little illogical as that door goes into the master bedroom. There is a nook with bookshelves with a mixture of classics from Mark Twain and contemporary from David Baldacci as well as games: Jenga, Life, Clue, etc. Since there are trees on one side & a field below the back of the house, we were able to watch a family of deer while enjoying the hot tub off the back patio. The bbq grill needed to be cleaned so we didn't use it. Overall it was a great place to spend a few days.

May as well social distance at the coast. Since we can’t go to Europe as planned. We loved our stay! Thank you!

So close to the beach, a mile from civilization, a game library next to none, fun for all.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the nice home! Would definitely stay there again. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not up to temperature the night when we checked in. It was cold and the only night we could use it all together was the first night. Otherwise everything was great!

This property was a great little getaway for our family. Plenty of space. Nice open concept and a surprise little view for sunsets and rises. The mattress in the master was not the greatest, but the place was beautiful and fully stocked

Reviewer Comments: In Lincoln City...Forced to stay in a house called Cascade Cottage....which was inhabited with pigeons, poop all over the place, birds definately in Attic... house was advertized as Pet Friendly, yet their is no place for the dogs to go to the bathroom... lot drops off into a ravine and is within a few feet of the house... could be very dangerous to kids as well.. before we went into the house we called Meredith and spoke to Mary... Mary said she was unable to move us.. . She said they are committed to the property owner and can't cancel... for Any Reason... she did call the owner, and told them the issues, she phoned back and said you arent going to like this.... and refused to move us or refund anything to us... .upon entry into the house we saw Meredith rules handbook.... rules which are not shared in advance, which confirm that they guarantee nothing for any reason, and have your credit card and will use it if needed without your approval. Needless to say, this was highly disappointing... we will never stay with them again...

This was the first time for the uncles and nephews to be together. The grandsons are 8 months and 2 months. So pleased with the room set up and how prepared the house was for any age groupings. The blocks and toddler toys were great and the hot tub was enjoyed by the adults. The kitchen prep and dining space was perfect for gathering and preparing together:) We like the quieter atmosphere of Roads End, but also close to the casino or shopping for the young couples. We are planning to make this an annual gathering and the 3 nights for the price of two made it possible for us to treat our children to a wonderful family time.
