This property was in a picture-perfect location. Enjoyed looking out at the ocean and looking for whales that may appear. The unit appeared to be in the process of being updated, hopefully the carpeting will be updated soon.

This was a beautiful location to bring mother and mother-in-law. Would love to return during stormy weather to watch the waves.

A friend and I stayed in this beautiful home. We spent hours sitting in the recliners watching boats go in and out of the harbor, whales spouting & breaching, seals playing in the surf, people fishing below, and waves pounding the rock below. It was such a wonderful and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

Great job on the remodel and adding a half bath! Great addition. Shower a bit challenging to not be blasted with cold water at start and keeping the water from getting outside the shower area, but very pretty and improvement over what was there before.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Gardner House property. The house was immaculate and had all that we needed for a cozy stay. 1 block walk to town shops. View of the ocean was spectacular with the sound of the waves ever present in the home. We all enjoyed our stay!

House is within walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay. The view is wonderful. We were able to view the opening of the channel to the harbor. Good for boat watching! We will come stay here again.

We loved the view in just about every room!! The house was old and needs some work but it was so cute and we loved it!! It felt like a home and not just some rental. We will definitely try to rent this home again.

Check in was very easy. Home was clean and has a relaxing vibe that makes you feel right at home. The views were incredible. We were able to watch the whale right from the home. Location was great with easy access to great restaurants and coffee shops. Would recommend this home to any family looking for a relaxing time. Beach access was a short drive. Great memories were made!

It was an amazing view and the beds were really comfortable. The recliners are a little outdated and not that comfortable but we really enjoyed our stay.. It’s a close walk to the little shops.

We LOVED our time in this home. The view is amazing.

The views are stunning and the proximity to town is a perfect afternoon walk. Plus walking around the neighborhood was pleasant. There were plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking meals, although the stove and fridge and microwave are a little antiquated. Sometimes the burners didnt work, but the kitchen and bath had a charming vintage feel to it. the only complaint i would have is the dirty carpets. They charged us $90 to bring our 2 dogs and from the looks of it, almost everyone brings their dogs. There were 15-20 dark pet stains throughout the home. you would think with the amount they charge to stay and bring our pets they could shampoo the carpets so they are fresh when the next guest arrive. Heck I bought a carpet cleaner for $100 for my home. So technically they could purchase one with our pet deposit we just paid and clean the carpets between guests. The gals through the service were very nice and pleasant to work with. We would stay there again because of the views and location. But maybe inquire if the carpet have been shampooed recently.

We enjoyed our stay in Depoe Bay. The view was fantastic. The location made exploring the local sites and area very easy.

This property has fantastic views that you can watch the boats coming in and out of the Depoe Bay harbor. Cleanliness is super important to us and this rental met our standards. The kitchen and bathroom are definitely dated but clean and that’s what matters. The property manager was quick to respond when we couldn’t figure out the door lockbox and checked to see if everything was going well. Very attentive. We would definitely recommend this rental and stay here again!

This home is the nearest home to the Depoe Bay channel. It's viewing angles are such that you can see the boats come and go almost up to the underneath opening of the bridge. And, it is only a short block away from viewing the harbor. Also, as whales travel through the ocean-bay, they can be just a matter of yards away from the property. Our stay resulted in hundreds of photos, and provided a truly amazing experience for all of us.

Location was great. Would suggest replacing carpet as there is an odor.

My family and dogs just stayed at this place and it was perfect for us. We saw lots of whales and ships going in and out of the ocean. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own binoculars. This was a perfect place to stay. The owners we very responsive.

The house was pretty nice overall. The view is fabulous! The only thing missing was a bit of attention to the details. (No batteries in the bedroom remote, no light bulb in the bathroom, no dishwasher soap.). The carpet could have used a better vacuuming since we had a baby with us and she kept getting dog hair on her toys. But overall it was older but nice.

It was the perfect location to bring my mother in law who just celebrated her 86th birthday. The views were amazing and she got to see whales.

Was perfect, the lazy boy chairs are something I'll never forget so comfortable in front of a amazing view! Out side is a great bench to hang out with your dog which we did. We worried about the carpets being so white but nope, our puppy did great. When on vacation with your dog you usually walk your dog allot anyway so that helped. Quite and great location, even with people time to time to come check out the view. No issues at all, all good times for us!

My Mom and I LOVE coming to this place! Its perfect for us and the view and home could not be any better! The company is great to work with, the home is as pictured and even better. We had concerns related to the various COVID restrictions and how they may impact our trip and we attempted to reach out to the property manager as suggested by the VRBO. We received emails indicating an opportunity to extend our visit which we promptly responded to. However, in the first case we never heard back from the management staff and in the 2nd case we didn't hear back until it was too late to take advantage of the offer. We stay often at the coast and often with this property management company and previously never had this kind of problem. While the property and our experience were outstanding, we are disappointed with the responsiveness of the Meredith Lodging.

The property was an older home and a duplex. The views are magnificent and I appreciated they let us bring our dog. It was unfortunate that the house was not clean. The soap in the kitchen was watered down, there was mold around the bathroom sink drain, 2 rolls of T.P. for 3 people , 3 days, foot prints on window. With Covid this made me nervous and the reason why we rented a house, the company that manages the home did offer to clean it again. But we declined since I cleaned what we needed and didnt want the intrusion. The home does need attention to some small upkeep items, like replacing the broken fan, no screens on windows, new kitchen sink installation incomplete. Shampoo carpet. But I do want to stress the view is awesome.

I'd like to tell you that this place is terrible, and no one would want to rent it leaving it all to us anytime we want, But actually we have stayed at this place over 15 times in the past 12 years. This place feels like home to us. The view is fantastic, , more often than not whales galore, boats going in and out the bay. Could just sit in that chair in the corner all day.

This home was very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to anywhere in town. Since the house appears to be built in the late 50's or early 60's, some amenities are a bit dated, but the location and views were magnificent. Large updated picture windows throughout the living area overlooking the bay. Saw many whales, seals, etc. Wonderful spot.

Perfect haven for my elderly mom who can no longer get down to the beach. We loved all the whale sightings!
