I love the feel of this resort - beachy but still close to home. The staff was amazing when we were in need of some fans due to an unseasonable hot weekend. The homes could use a little tlc but wrote that off to end of the busy season and I'm sure they are on the schedule for repairs during the winter. Overall I would totally recommend this resort to a friend.

Beach walk resorts was perfect and specifically the Poseidon/Trident house was able to accommodate all of the adults and kids. The numerous bed and bedroom arrangements really helps with flexibility.The community itself is very bicycle, friendly, and since we were on a backstreet are six and seven-year-olds are able to use scooters and bikes freely without worry.The beach was a great success. We did spend one day at the pool, and the new facilities were wonderful. We even had a lot of success on the fishing pier.

We will come back to Beachwalk because it is convenient for our large family. The staff I dealt with in the Office were very nice and helpful in arranging a rental for next summer and I appreciate that very much. The upgrades at Beachwalk are really nice. Having said that, upon arrival on July 14th it didn’t take but a couple of hours to find that it was quite dirty,ill-equipped,and things were broken. The main house shower doors were broken and the shower knob in the loft bath didn’t work.The clothes dryer didn’t work took 3 cycles to dry. The garage had several broken objects just lying around. It seemed like a safety issue. The main house kitchen frig drawer falls out and has a broken shelf. The main house kitchen did not accommodate the # of guests it boasts. The screened porch furniture was very dirty and very worn. I realize rentals have lots of wear and tear but for the rental fees that the guests are paying it doesn’t seem right. Trident has electrical issues.Lights blink.There are next to no cooking supplies;few utensils,pots,etc. One of the main reasons for this detailed review is because on Thursday, the 6th day of our week, 3 cribs and a highchair were delivered while we were on the beach. My grandson was there and there was no explanation given to him why they were there. It was obvious though that they were delivering extra beds for the next renters. We had no notification of this delivery. I called the office and whoever I spoke to said they should have notified I said to him we have valuables everywhere and I would have appreciated a heads up. This delivery was difficult to work around as we were preparing to leave the next morning and should have been made upon our departure.I hope this review makes other renters' exper

There was ample space for all we had planned. The location was lovely - I simply love the Beachwalk neighborhood! We played in the playground and walked to the lake and enjoyed lots of indoor fun. The only downside was that they didn't have pots and pans large enough to prepare food for 25 guests. There were plenty of plates and cups and so on, plus two dishwashers to clean them all, but no large pots or bowls. We will most likely return in the future and just remember to bring large pots.

The large house was a great win for our group of 16 (8 adult couples). We enjoyed the large dining area and the ability to spend a weekend together. The house was in need of a deep cleaning. (I personally washed the kitchen ceiling fan because I couldn't stand the grease encrusted dust staring at me) The main dishwasher in the kitchen was non-functional, but there was a second dishwasher in the utility room off of the kitchen. The bedrooms were fine but were missing some basics (a few hangars, waste basket, chair, mirror) As noted by some, the carpeting down to the lower level needs to be either cleaned or replaced. The location was wonderful. Just a short walk to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach. The golf cart availability was a wonderful plus for the less ambulatory folks in our group. The management team was very responsive and open with communication before the stay.

The house could be awesome- location and space are ideal for large group but it needs updating. Plenty of dishes, utensils and pans but cookware (pots and pans) we’re old and very worn. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators is awesome except neither of the dishwashers worked well. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms but sagging mattresses and black mold in master shower - YUCK! We were only there 2 days and there were 20 of us so it was tolerable for that amount of time but would not stay for more than that. Stained carpets in basement, torn screen doors and just overall needs to be cleaned up better and refreshed. Great location and community facilities seemed great - but we didn’t use them.

We saw mold in some places around in the bathrooms and in he basement. There were large stains on the carpets downstairs that were there already as well. There was one roll of tissue for each bathroom. We were not told we needed to bring replacement tissue. Overall the house had enough space for us.

It was in a good location, close to the pool, and we managed to have a great visit with family despite the dirty, run-down accommodations. The actual Beachwalk resort was nice, with a very nice pool area, kayaking and access to the beach. This house needs attention.

While it has met most of our needs, the sofas have not improved at all. You can loose someone in those cracks between the cushions. Also, the master shower really needs to have a big mold removal. The dining facilities are great, the beds are all good for a 3-night stay, and overall, this is a great rental with plenty of parking space .

We weren’t able to check in on time as they were washing floors. Well floors were dirty I washed them myself after 2 days of black feet/socks! Ice maker broke. Grill never worked. Dishwashers were so so. There are so many rotten boards was worried for injuries. One was holding up deck on small house! There was leftover food in fridge when we arrived. We stayed here last year and had a few issues. Things have really gone down fast feel for owner. Cleaning crew doesn’t do floors!

However, the house we rented is another story. It is tired. It is in need of a DEEP clean. The floors are dirty, the carpet needs cleaning, my family had to throw their soxs away, and a number of things need to be repaired. The front porch railings are rotted and dangerous. The caps on the rear porch railing posts come off in your hand. The left garage door is broken. We had to open it by hand to get the golf cart out. The golf cart is very slow. You can walk faster. The house is in need of a good electrician. Many of the switches and outlets don't work. I believe the master bathroom has a serious electrical problem. The GFI and lights did not work for 6 days. Then on Thursday of our stay, they worked. This could be dangerous, or a short. Someone should draw a map of what switches do what. You have to go to the back door to operate the ceiling fans in the living room. A map should be easy to write because several switches do nothing, The A/C went out on the hottest day of the week. it took all day to have someone repair it. All they did was add some refrigerant. But nothing was repaired. Where did the refrigerant go? The next renter may have the same problem unless the leak is repaired. We couldn't do anything in the living room that night because it was 83 in the house. Other than that, our family enjoyed the Beachwalk property, not the house. I would recommend Beachwalk vacations, not the Poseidon and Trident property.

There is plenty of space with two living rooms in the main house but neither is big enough for everyone at the same time. Overall, my complaints are minor issues like only have a pedestal sink in the master bathroom (absolutely no counterspace), the bedroom windows only have blackouts so you either get no light or you let you neighbors (who are very close) see in your bedroom. The door to the master bedroom balcony doesn't have any covering at all so garage apartment can see right in and you can darken the room. Overall, we would stay there again.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The house was very large and had so many bedrooms. The downstairs has a foosball table that was used by most of us and the ping pong table in the garage was used even more. It was great that the garage was warm enough to play ping pong in November. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Poseidon! The space worked very well for our family reunion! Great indoor and outdoor space - the kitchen eating area was great! We enjoyed proximity to the beach and use of the golf cart was lots of fun. My only critique would be the wear and tear shows on the house and the cleanliness level could be higher. But over all - a comfortable place for our family to enjoy being together.

We loved the community and all the amenities. It was perfect for our vacation with extended family. We would love to enjoy staying in there again. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness of the floors in the home. The tile floors were dirty and there were stains all over the basement carpet. We've stayed at many rentals that were much cheaper and in better condition.

Beds and furniture were comfortable. Location was perfect- easy access to pool, lake Kai and the beach. A dishwasher leaked and maintenance responded very quickly. The kitchen has the very basics like silverware and plates, but very limited on cooking pots or pans. If you are going to cook for a large group, bring your own large skillet and pasta pots. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Large house with lots of room for all! Rained almost every day but still great time was had! Place needs a few updates one fridge and dishwasher didn’t work well but very roomy!

Beautiful home with plenty of room for big families. Loved the quaint neighborhood and amenities. Very close to the beach and many other activities and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.
