Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful island! The resort and rental property was clean and beautiful also. Only issue was every time you open the lanai door the air would kick off. But other than that it was a perfect place to stay. Everything you could need is available on the property. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. We could walk down the beach in less than 1 minute and I regularly had a nice cup of coffee there in the morning before the rest of my family woke up. Location was the best. I have absolutely no negatives about the place and will stay here any time we may return. Also, the Lanai was amazing and so secluded.

It was so nice and super quiet to be tucked back a ground floor unit. Such easy access to the pools and Dukes. Our family loved being able to run back and forth into our room and not have to wait for elevators. The unit is beautiful! Clean! The A/C makes the master bedroom a bit cold while the rest of the house stays a bit warm and humid but we were outside most of the time and the kids didn’t complain so that’s a win! Very helpful and attentive host!

The bed in the 2nd bedroom was broken. Had to contact owner twice. They were unable to fix so put blocks underneath bed to keep supported. Mattress still sloped down. Toilet in master bedroom had issues. Seat slid every time you sat on and also ran water quite a bit. Had to jiggle handle to stop from running. Hot in living room as fan did not work as no remote. Property manager did say not listed in listing, but would have been nice to have. Overall, condo was dated with issues. Property manager was very quick in responding.

This is a wonderful place to stay, very clean, spacious and the lanai is absolutely perfect! I was a little apprehensive that it was on the ground floor but to my pleasant surprise it was very private. Walking distance to the beach and Duke's restaurant which has great food. I would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect condo for our trip to Maui with kids (5,7,9). The condo location is like a dream on the Honua Kai property - the spot is ideal. The large patio became a playroom for our kids - immersed in nature and safely within our view. They will remember their time searching for wildlife with such fondness. We plan to return next year and will only stay at this condo!

Our stay at Honua Kai was perfect. The condo was clean and updated. The huge Lanai was perfect for having to small kids and older grandparents. Communication with the property manager was great. The only challenge was parking. Spaces close are limited. We would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at this property 4 times now and this is our favourite unit so far. Spacious, awesome location. Host was very responsive and helpful.

I will choose my words carefully. I am confused by all the five star ratings. I have stayed at the resort before in 2016. I can understand why families with children would like this condo. It is on the ground floor with a large lanai that is like another living room. Very lovely. The condo itself is a bit dated. Dirty rug in the living room, nicked furniture, ice maker did not work, many lights did not work, bathrooms have no windows. The most disappointing thing was the communication with the rental agent. Oh yes, if they want money, they communicate. Otherwise, good luck. We waited well past the check in time to be notified that we could get into the condo. No welcoming notes or gifts. Plenty of rules were left. Well overstated. Especially a note from the owner that seemed angry that she was allowing us to rent her "away from home". I will definitely go back to the resort but I will not rent from this property manager or owner. Maui is very special. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful setting, and easy to maneuver! Ground floor unit with beautiful lanai made it easy to maneuver, and get to the pool and beach. Great facilities and convenient to so much of Maui’s splendor! A few (very) small annoyances with the unit itself. All fixable, and the property mgr was easy to work with.

Great spot for families

The place was well appointed with all the amenities. The condo was fully stocked with everything you could need and very clean. Great location to the pools and the lanai was perfect. Would definitely come back again.

This Condo is AMAZING!! Perfect location on this property..very spacious and conducive to those who love to enjoy the outdoors on your own private lanai. Has a great outdoor/indoor feel with the folding glass doors, the bedrooms were laid out well for each to have privacy, and the living space was perfect size. If traveling with family or with couples you can't go wrong with this unit!! We'll definitely be back!

We have stayed at Honua Kai in the past but this was easily the largest and most spacious unit we’ve had. It was a very nice floor plan for our 2 adults and 3 children ages 5, 7, and 10. The ground floor location was extremely convenient, especially for enjoying all the on site amenities! Everything was neat and clean and ready for us, we had zero issues and communication was very quick on any question we had. Wonderful stay and I would highly recommend!

Everything was easy, great communication and very responsive during our stay. Very clean, nice and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and gorgeous lanai. This property has such a great and relaxing vibe compared to other areas. Highly recommend. Our family had a magical stay.

We absolutely loved this property and Condo. The entire condo was wonderful, but the large outdoor space was amazing. It was just so easy to access and we came and went from the pool and beach back to the condo. It was also surprisingly private which we also appreciated. We also appreciated the coolers, beach chairs, beach toys, and boogie boards there for our use.

Super place and really responsive property manager . The lanai was fantastic and we are every meal there - you have to make sure the exit doors are locked to make the ac work —— we figured it out the last day :) fantastic property ....

I would highly recommend this place if you are you are considering a stay in Lahaina. The property has all of the amenities needed, the unit is convenient to parking, pools, and a small store that sells delicious smoothies and coffee drinks. Being on ground level is great for small kids with a large lanai for them to hangout. One other big plus was the easy access to the food truck park next to the complex. With small children it was easy for either me or my wife to step away to go grab delicious poke and Asian food after the kids were fed.

This unit has an amazing location. No need to wait for elevators which is great during Covid. Unit was stocked with snorkel, beach chairs, boogie boards and a few rafts. Beds were very comfortable. Nice lanai for hanging outside and eating meals. I would stay here again and again. Fereshteh was very easy to work with and answered any questions right away.

My husband and 2 daughters had a wonderful week in Maui, Feb 11- 18. The ground floor unit provided easy access to the rest of the property without having to wait for the elevator. The unit is very clean and beautifully furnished. I really enjoyed reading and relaxing out on the huge lanai !

Our stay at Honua Kai exceeded all of our expectations! This ground floor property was perfect for our family of 5 in terms of location, space and comfort. Everything was seamless from the initial booking and throughout our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

We were thrilled with this place and definitely loved its spaciousness. The two master suites and bathrooms were roomy and allowed for an air mattress with room to spare. We used the bed inside couch snd it was actually comfortable! The beach chairs and boogie boards provided were used everyday, so thank you. We also loved its accessibility to the pools and beach, a huge bonus is that we didn’t have to wait for the elevators. The extended lanai was wonderful for early morning zoom school and evening gatherings.

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks. It exceed all of our expectations. It was impeccably clean and had all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager left detailed and thoughtful instructions all over the unit. The grounds of the resort are very clean, the pools are relaxing, and the beach access is excellent for snorkeling and boogie boarding. The ground floor lanai was absolutely wonderful and private and provided our family convenient access to everything on the property. If I could give this unit and property more than 5 stars, I would!!

Simply put this property is amazing. The location is perfect, being on the ground floor made is easy to access everything from the pools, store, beach and parking. The property is very spacious and the lanai is magnificent. Fereshteh was great to work with and our family will always look to stay at this unit on future trips. I highly recommend this property!

This was a beautifully remodeled, comfortable and well stocked. The giant lanai was the nicest we’d ever experienced on a vacation and so convenient for in and out access. The property manager was responsive and easy to wok with. Everything was very organized and exactly as described. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Aloha!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. The ground floor property is perfectly situated near the pools, elevator and lobby. It is also a short walk to the beach. We loved the lanai. It felt very private with all of the beautiful, lush landscaping surrounding the patio area. The unit was lovely. It was extremely quiet and well equipped with all the comforts of home. We greatly appreciated the beach accessories too. Fereshteh was great to work with and always prompt to answer any questions we had. I couldn't have imagined a better place to stay.

This is an ideally located, large, nicely decorated, light-filled first floor 2 BR, 2 BA condo with large private lanai that leads right out to the resort pools and lobby, and it's just around the corner to the elevator to the parking garage. Fully equipped, elegant kitchen. Nothing was lacking. We loved our stay, felt very lucky to find this condo, and would stay here again.
