We would definitely stay again, which should be a big clue! This was a great trip - from the booking process to when we pulled out of the driveway. The owner is wonderful to communicate with...very responsive. The house was so clean and comfortable, with many little details thought of. Very close walking distance to downtown. It was the perfect trip for ladies that wanted to explore the town.

All four ladies in our group getaway agreed that the house was amazingly cute and comfortable and had everything you needed.
The house was clean and well stocked including plenty of kitchen dishes, utensils, glasses, coffee pot. Plenty of bath towels.
The host went beyond thinking and providing everything you needed.
It is a few blocks walk to downtown where there are plenty of places to shop and eat.

Love the closeness to downtown, short 2 block walk...home is super clean and tidy, owners super accommodating...we had 5 adults and it was perfect home base for weekend. I would stay there over and over!!!

My mom, daughter and I came to Mt Dora for a family wedding and had an awesome stay. The beds are so comfortable and the whole place very well stocked. The location couldn't be better, an easy walk to all Mt Dora has to offer. Will definitely stay here again!

Fourth of July Weekend Getaway
We had an amazing time in Mount Dora! This property was even better than we thought it would be! The house was beautifully redone and decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed, and in walking distance from the downtown areas! In addition, the owners were polite and helpful leading up to our check-in and stay! We had the best fourth of July weekend!

Wonderful and Comfortable Cottage!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Cottage was super clean and well stocked. Decor was comfortable and cozy, very well done. King bed was very comfortable with nice soft sheets. As others have said, the location is perfect - very close to shops and restaurants, but on a quiet street. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We look forward to returning!

Family gathering
This is a lovely, very clean and well appointed cottage- a relaxing home base from which to work and enjoy Mt Dora. Future renters should be aware that the 3rd bedroom/office is a walkthrough for another bed/ bath. We were able to use the porch for an office instead.

Perfect Girls Getaway
First time to Mount Dora. Very cute town with shopping, lots of restaurant choices and great opportunities to walk. This home is as written. Very comfortable furnishings like you have in your own home. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Don't miss Essential Day Spa and Cody's on 4th St. for breakfast. .

Just what we needed
We needed this weekend trip to recharge and reconnect with friends. Could not have found a better place to do that. The house was cozy and immaculate. It was fully stocked with all the important essentials we needed. Walking distance to town for shopping, great restaurants and amazing sunsets on the lake. Our check in arrival was smooth and Paula was quick with answering questions. I can see why this house is so popular. We will be back!

Cozy, rainy day retreat!
We stayed two nights on our way back to Ohio. We had everything we needed. The place is pristine! Our weather didn't want to cooperate, but we were content to stay in, with all the little home away from home amenities!

Delightful cottage
Location is fantastic, just a couple blocks to Mount Dora to enjoy events, restaurants, shops, lakefront. The cottage is wonderful, beautiful renovation keeping all of the historic charm with modern amenities. Bright and homey. Lovely décor. Hosts very pleasant and responsive. Was well stocked for our extended stay. Was very clean and everything was in perfect working order. Highly recommend and we plan to return.

Super clean home in the quietest location.
We enjoyed this homes ideal location to shopping, restaurants, and the lake area. We have picky sleepers so being able to have our own bed was ideal. Each room was cozy and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were very clean. The owners thought of everything. Hope to come back with my parents.

Lovely Home - Great Location
This historic house was beautifully updated. We loved eating breakfast on the enclosed front porch. This property was fully equipped with everything one might need while traveling. Plentiful towels and the beds were comfortable. The location was just a few minutes walk to downtown Mt. Dora and all the wonderful restaurants available. I would recommend this property and I would love to stay there again too when I am next visiting the area!

Mt Dora Fl at its Best!
Stayed for a birthday celebration with a old friend. Wonderful cottage, inviting, comfortable, well appointed, quiet walkable neighborhood! Downtown within 2 to 3 blocks. Nice walking path right down the block for exercise and takes you thru very pretty historic neighborhood. Bedding is luxurious, décor very lovely, kitchen stocked nicely. Hostess is great. Will definitely stay again very soon!
