Host was as amazing as the rental property. It was evident that a lot of time and effort were put in to making this rental as close to “home” as possible. The home was clean and offered many conveniences not found elsewhere…very thoughtful conveniences that included our four legged family. It was a super fast, busy weekend, but I can’t wait to rent this property and do it again! A huge shoutout and thank you to the wonderful homeowners!

What a wonderful, charming little place. The location is fantastic! Vineyards everywhere. Marie is such a sweetheart! I loved texting with her. The bed and furniture were very comfortable and we felt very welcomed. We’d love to come back!

We flew in from FL for a wedding near the location of the VRBO. I was pleasantly surprised with all the amenities of the property. The owners definitely take care of this cozy country haven and understand what is needed for hosting a family. They even stocked us with coffee, spring water, plenty of toiletries and the kitchen had everything needed to cook up wonderful dinners. We didn't use the grill, but there was one provided off a cute porch. The queen mattress was super comfy. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend staying here. The morning we left, we found a cute diner right down the road with the best biscuits and gravy! Thank you for having us!!!

Just bring ur clothes, every need is met. Right in middle of all the wineries and near the lake for looking beach glass or fishing. Two train tracks near by, just don't forget your ear plugs. Marie makes up for it by providing everything you need, lovely home at a great price.

We had a short stay visiting family. Marie and Alan’s place was very cute and cozy with a huge yard for the kids to run around and play in. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. It is located right next to the train tracks where trains come through at all hours of the day and night, which we did not mind at all, but it might be difficult if you are a light sleeper. We enjoyed our stay in their home and will definitely be repeat guests!

The home was so clean and decorated so nicely. We really appreciated all the amenities that were available. The owners took care to provide everything you would need for a comfortable visit. We will definitely be back.

might need.My kids loved the provided checkers game so much that we ordered the same one for our home and there were plenty of other games for those rainy moments as well. Everything was perfect and as described.We will

We thank the Dingfelders for their hospitality. The cottage was very clean, nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings, and stocked with kitchenware, appliances, etc. -- pretty much everything one might need and more. The cottage is privately situated, protected by mature trees, including beautiful big spruces. The Dingfelders were easy to work with, and respected our privacy. The cottage was perfect for our needs, and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here to visit family over Christmas. They were great about keeping the drive plowed and helped by communicating the local weather as we were determining if we could safely make the drive. The house was clean, well cared for, and worked well for our family of 5 and dog. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time. We were very surprised at all the extra care and concern provided. We had our grandson over and something so small as having checkers was a wonderful treat. We will refer to others and will be renting the property again. Thank you very much!!!

This is our second time staying here. Both times we were hit with with a lot of snow and very cold temperatures! The driveway was plowed and the home warm and cozy. Perfectly cleaned, and had everything we needed. Thank you again!

We were traveling to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday and it couldn’t have worked out better. There were five adults, one infant and our old dog. We found the house to have plenty of space, it was clean, had everything you needed and the owners were wonderful about answering questions right away. We look forward to returning in the spring or summer and also taking advantage of the nice outdoor seating area and yard. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Marie's place was great. We were in town for the wine festival so this was just minutes away. Very clean. I locked myself out in the first 5 minutes, but Marie was able to help out immediately!

This is a beautiful little property set among the grape vineyards. Sparkling clean, stocked with EVERYTHING you'll need! Owners are next door & were very easy to contact. A country setting, yet very close to town, stores & restaurants. Easy access to natural beaches, Presque Isle State Park, Waldameer, Presque Isle Downs Casino, wineries & Erie Zoo. Train enthusiasts will love the train tracks nearby, where numerous trains travel through several times daily. We were very impressed by the thought & attention the hosts put into making sure you have everything to make your stay easy, relaxing & pleasant. We already talked about returning next year!

My family and I have not had a vacation in many yrs and this place was everything we could need and want for a place to stay for 5 days. All we had to do was bring clothing groceries and toiletries. Marie was an amazing host.

Perfect accommodations for our group of 4 Walleye fishermen. Outside seating, shady porch and table were a bonus. Can only imagine the grape fragrance in the air closer to fall!

Marie & Alan are the best!
Not only is their property a gem, but so are Marie & Alan. Everything you could possibly need is there. We love to relax there, have coffee on the porch in the morning, play games and barbecue dinner on the patio in the evening. If you’re lucky, you might get a visit from Annie. Definitely going back for another visit.

This was the best place I've ever stayed. The owners are very gracious, they have thought of everything that you may need rentung a place. down to the fire wood, for the out door pit. We had 5 dogs with us and the out door area was very pet friendly. Can't wait to rent it again!
