Views were great, bed was comfy, and shower was good. Our issues were not the fault of this specific unit but the Kendall building needs a renovation. Carpets are stained everywhere, we were told to leave trash by elevator, our keys randomly stopped working one day (luckily their front desk is 24 hours), and on the morning of checkout, the power went out and we had to drag everything down stairs and make sure the door didn't close behind us since they locked. I assume the construction all along the property caused it as no one else in the are lost power.

With 40 inches of snow after digging out my Transit van for 6.5 hours and still couldn't get out, the property manager in the evening told me they had no one to help and I would have to call a tow truck from Durango. The next morning we were checking out and the man at the front desk was very helpful and sent two men with gravel and shovels and strong backs. They got us out in about 10 minutes. Not sure why the two different stories.

Our stay was fantastic. The property has a great view of the mountains, the facilities were everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The condo is in a beautiful location and perfect size for our family of 3. PROS: - Great location between Durango and Silverton. Beautiful views. Mountain biking and hiking trails nearby. - Easy access to elevator and parking. - Safe and secure. - Good starter kits for toiletries. - Very close to the Village Market for emergency supplies. Just an elevator ride down. - Property management was quick with responses to questions. CONS. - Towels need upgrading. - Housekeeping can do a better job of wipe downs. A load of sheets and towels were left in the dryer. - Washer dryer is loud, may require some maintenance. - Next door condo balcony is close and if you have loud neighbors, you will need to close your windows. - You can also hear everything from the parking lot below. If you plan to sleep with windows open, bring earplugs.

What an amazing place to stay, very clean, great views and used the hot tub (5th floor) every night after a great day. Definitely will be going back.. AAA+++

Literally exit the building and walk 20 steps to the ski rental and then out the door to the lifts. So amazing. Fully stocked kitchen.

The unit was great for our family of 3. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for our making 3 meals a day. Having a ski locker was an added bonus, that we loved. Also, the hot tub on the top of the Kendall building was great. Overall, loved the unit and location and will definitely book again.

We enjoyed our stay, walk to lift was about 100 yards, thru the main building. Quiet and comfortable, very nice bed.

Great view and great apartment. Management company was very good. Only issue is nothing was open this time of the year so we had to grab food and drive to Durango or silverton to go to a good restaurant. Not a surprise for us

Great booking and check-in process. Didn't have any problems with the unit. It was perfect for my husband and me on our getaway for the week. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean and well maintained. We were disappointed more businesses weren't open at the Resort area, but we visited during shoulder season and COVID, so it was understandable. Thanks for a great stay!

Dated but clean and good location

The location & views were amazing. Heated pool was nice but could have been warmer. Communication from the property manager was great. Everyone at the resort was very polite.

Great location for the hill.

This condo was a perfect location for our son's ski lesson weekend .

Our flight was moved up about 3 hours . We talked to check in desk about possibly checking in early if room was cleaned. We could not get a hold of the cleaning service to ask.

Dishes unclean (cups with rings, utensils, etc)...they should be checked.
No sanitizer (wipes or liquid).
All relatively small things, but add up to disappointment

Enjoyed our stay at this property. It is well appointed and very clean. The location is great — main village area and just steps to the lifts. Only negative was not having access to the ski locker, but overall a great place.

We have stayed in many different condos at Purgatory over the years. This one was just perfect for our family of 4. In some condos the kitchen and furniture seem to be collections of misfit items. In this condo, the knives in the kitchen were sharp, the beds were comfortable, and the property was clean. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

The complimentary ski lockers are super handy so you don’t have to lug skis/boots upstairs. Beds/linens are very comfortable. Condo overall is a bit rode hard - I would never take a bath in the ancient jacuzzi bathtub(yuck), carbon monoxide detectors beeped (replaced twice and still never quit beeping so we just unplugged), condo faces parking lot so you hear snow plows scraping every morning at 5 am and the safety beeps with every reverse. The inside handle of the doorknob also fell off and got us stuck in the room until my husband could locate the tiny screw and get it all put back together. The maintenance gentleman was super nice, but the answering service was not polite - they acted like we were a problem. After a two hour wait and my second call, they doubted that I made my first call, pretty frustrating.

It has its quirks, but it is comfortable.

We had a great vacation with our family including 2 kids. We were just upstairs from the ski rentals and just across the square from the hot tub and pool. It was a very short wait for the hot tub with the Covid guidelines. I would definitely recommend hitting a grocery store in Durango before arriving. The cost of food is outrageous. The king bed was awesome but the fold out couch was not the greatest for our kids but thankfully they are kids and can pretty much sleep anywhere. The resort staff was incredible about restocking our firewood. We had a great vacation and may make this an annual trip.

Beautiful property right in the mountains, everything was clean and had everything we needed! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a mountain getaway!!
