We love to stay at Phoenix properties. However, this condo needs to be updated. My husband who is handicapped was unable to come this year. It would have been difficult for him to stay at this condo. The beds were uncomfortable. There seems to be some plumbing issues: had to use a plunger in the master bathroom and the drainage in the hallway bathroom, which was the handicapped equipped bathroom, was slow. The living room sofa and the 2 chairs need to be replaced - we “sank” into them so need furniture that provides more support. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the wonderful ocean view. The pool and hot tubs were fantastic. I don’t think you are responsible for the person that set up the beach chairs but he was rude and didn’t routinely check on the setting of the umbrella, which were used to when we used this service. We paid almost $300 for 5 days service and we expected a more cordial response when we requested his services.

The handicap/wheelchair accessibility of the unit was as described but the cleanliness and care of the unit was horrible. The unit appears to have been neglected for some time. It also appears that work may have been started on a chair rail and never finished as well as other areas. The shower curtains were old, dingy and had half the hooks needed. There were several other issues along with a notice on our door the morning that we checked out from the city that the rental company had not paid for their business license. Only redeeming factor was the view, the beautiful blue water and white sand. Had my stay been I longer, I would not have spent it in this unit and would have requested another one but just didn’t feel like the fight for a short trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Well kept and loved the property. We will come back again one day.

It was great. I would recommend putting a waterproof shelf or something in the roll in shower for them to put their soap and shampoo on where they can reach it. Everything else was fantastic and my mom had no trouble getting around in the condo.

We loved the location but the condo needs some attention.

The condo was very spacious and convenient. Right next to several bars and restaurants. Grocery stores only 7min away. Easy access back and forth to the beach. The only thing at check is that you do have to pay for parking and wristbands for your stay which was like $130 extra at check-in. I didn’t read the whole listing or reviews when booked so not sure if that was noted or not but we were surprised about that. The condo is very spacious so it was easy to cook and do things around the condo and not be in each other’s way. The floors in the condo were really dirty. Like our feet were black 1hr after arriving and unpacking just from walking around. We walked around in sandals the whole rest of the week. We would have contacted property management about the floors but we had been traveling 14hrs by car and arrived late night. We were just ready to rest and enjoy our week without worrying about people coming in and cleaning floors.

Great place to stay for the beach! Perfect view and location. Condo and facility is very nice.

We had a great time and the location next to the florabama was the bees knees!

The condo was clean and looked just like the pictures. The 7th floor balcony had wonderful views. Easy parking, easy check in and out, and good location. The only issue was that the ice dispenser was stuck on crushed ice. Was not a big deal and wouldn’t expect that to change until the owner decides to get a new fridge. We enjoyed our stay and would come back for sure!

Property was in a great location right next door to Florabama! Wonderful time on the beach and in the pool! Nice restaurants close by. Space and view wonderful!

We all enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location on the beach. Didn't think we would use indoor pool but 2 youngest grandchildren wanted to go every night. We would rent this unit again.

Disappointed in off season. Amenities not available while we were there. None of us were disabled so none of the handicap features in the condo were appreciated by us. But location and view from the condo were excellent.

Great location. We enjoyed our stay. The Furniture could use an update as it is not comfortable. My Parents enjoyed the ocean view.

Apartment is spacious and comfortable despite needing some updates (convection oven didn’t work, broken drawer in kitchen, ice dispenser needs repair, Wi-Fi is horrible). Beautiful view with large balcony. It would have been useful to know that parking cost $60 before booking the property but that was only informed after booking. Other thing not mentioned was that beach chairs and umbrella cost $40 per day (instead of available beach chairs/umbrella). Our biggest disappointment was the tennis courts, which was the main reason we decided to book this property from 3 others we were researching. The tennis courts were destroyed by the hurricane and there’s been a decision to not fix them since last year (according to front desk), yet management continues to list them as a feature.

We had a great stay at this property, but it is very outdated. But, it worked wonderful for us! The handicap accessiblity was fabulous for my husband! The kitchen was very well appointed, just like a home. The property company was really prompt and attentive when we had a couple things come up. They were awesome to work with! Would stay here again.

Overall had a good time had no contact with management so can’t review them. At times it is hard getting into and out of parking because of the traffic going down road in front of property other than that had no problems. Room had fantastic views of both the Gulf and river side close to restaurants.

Pool construction was very noisy until 7 pm some nights

Very close to restaurants, loved that we were next to florabama even though it was constantly too busy for us to eat there, but heard great music every day. Enjoyed the beach, very beautiful and well groomed.

Great location and condo amenities. Only negative was they started cleaning the condo above us at 6AM the day we were checking out and it sounded like a tornado was in the building.

The view was gorgeous. Condo was spacious. My cousin is in a wheel chair and was told he could bring a trailer so he could bring a second wheelchair so he could get on the beach. When we got their, there was two other trailers. That could of made his visit more fun. The floors have not been cleaned. Our feet were black after walking around. I had used several bleach wipes to clean the floor. Otherwise we loved staying there.

Phoenix X is a wonderful complex. Our unit was clean but needed some repairs. The screen door was off and propped in the corner furniture had stains. Fridge door had a dent. Bath towels were old and worn. Overall wasn’t terrible but for the price it needs to be better.
