We had a great time!! We loved the location and the hot tub was such a nice bonus. The only thing we were not aware of is that the one bathroom 🚽 is located inside of the master bedroom. Also, the two queen beds are out in the living room so there is not much privacy. It’s fine for a family but with other adults it could be a little awkward. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and check in/check out was a breeze.

We had such a great time in Salt Lake City. The property was so cute and cozy (and clean!), but best of all it was located in close proximity to everything we had come to the area for. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

The home itself was great! Pretty clean very comfortable and the hot tub was a great touch. The two things that were bothersome about the property is that the owner did not clearly communicate on the listing that a family lives above and that the property is a basement apartment in their home. The second thing was the thermostat which is set upstairs so you can control it by your phone but because it is not in the basement the temperature downstairs is not what the thermostat says. Just something to note.

My son and I stayed here for a ski vacation. The location was outstanding, being about 10 minutes from the Little and Big Cottonwood Canyon shuttles, 15 minutes from the heart of Salt Lake City, and about an hour drive to the Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. Good restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, and walking trails were close by, and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. I could not have picked a better location. Nicole’s basement was roomy and clean, and we had no issues. Nicole was prompt with her responses as well. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The property was just as advertised. Clean with plenty of room for a family. Questions were immediately answered by the property owner/manager. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, beautiful location, helpful host

Nicole was a great host with prompt communications and the location was perfect for our ski trip to the various Utah resorts. The place was exactly as described and pictured!

We were very happy with this Olympus Cove property. The location is great on several levels. It is close to the canyons, it is close to a grocery store, it is close to a ski equipment rental company, and there are some pretty awesome views of the city lights. The unit was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Here is a statement one of my sons gave when we first arrived: "this would be the perfects place for me to live." What he meant is that the place feels like a home away from home. Comfortable. We highly recommend this property.

The only thing I did not like was the street parking. We happened to be there when it was snowing a bunch and our car got plowed in and it took a while for us to get out one morning. I really liked the location - halfway between the University (visiting my son) and the ski areas

It was a nice location. Should be advertised that this is a remodeled basement not the whole house. Also should be advertised that owners and children are present during rental. Very clean. Very responsive owner. Didn’t feel comfortable coming in late hours to a family home because I was raised with respect.

The property cannot be located any better, it is close to the ski areas while being high enough above the city. We enjoyed the hot tub (even though we had to get help from the owner on the first use to figure out how to adjust the temperature) with the view on the city lights. It was very relaxing after long days hiking (this is why we came here, to go hiking in the fall). The interior was very spacious for my wife and me. The master bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side and while it was perfect for the two of us, it would have been more difficult to manage with several kids. The owner was very responsive and helped us throughout. The parking situation was difficult to understand because we arrived at night time! We would definitely come back.

This house is beautiful. Very well set up and decorated. It encompasses the entire basement level of the home and the backyard. House is occupied upstairs. Hot tub is fantastic.

Super clean and cute and quiet. The entire bottom level of the house was all ours with a hot tub in the backyard. The owner was very responsive and flexible. Close to the freeway so we were easily able to get downtown and close to Park City (35’) and snowbird/Alta (25’). Well equipped and plenty of super soft blankets.

We had a great stay from out of town for 1 night. We went to a show in Salt Lake. This location is a little further from the city event centers than other options, but the private hottub and view of the city from up on the benches was worth the few extra minutes drive. The only improvement I can recommend is accessing the place at the gate for the first time is a little awkward. We spent a few minutes trying to decided if we were at the right place. We couldn't open the gate latch from the outside and had to walk up to the driveway at the front and down to the gate in the back. Not a big deal, but I was a little worried about being at the wrong spot and getting the cops called on me for walking around inside someones fenced yard. A better description or a sign on the gate might be helpful.

Our weekend away with family was a great experience at this property. The beds were the most comfortable that we have ever had at a stay away from home. Beautifully decorated. Nicole communicated so thoroughly the whole time, checked in on us to see if we needed anything. It was very well supplied with everything we could have needed. The hot tub view is really amazing. It seats 4, 2 to 3 more comfortably, and was just what we needed during the rainy days and at the end of a long day. I would use this vrbo again. 5 stars!

Great location to visit the whole valley! Great views especially sunset! Had all kitchen supplies you would need to cook a meal. All my kids enjoyed the stay and where comfortable the entire time! We will be back next time we are in Utah!

The property manager Nicole was fabulous! She was completely accessible and helpful at all times. Interior was clean and the amenities were suitable for our needs. Property was further from what we needed so the location was not ideal but still a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this property!

This was a great getaway for our family for out family reunion. As a family of 4, it was the perfect space. The kids loved their beds,! Nicole was easy to get ahold of, and always was attentive to our needs. This was the first time we stayed in a downstairs unit, and it did not disappoint.

I came to Utah with my son to see a doctor an needed a place that was relaxing an had a hot tub for my sons therapy. This place was very private an relaxing. The owners were very nice communicated through text so as not to bother us an were helpful with anything I did need. Grocery store good food an gas stations not far away! We drove to bountiful an all over salt lake everyday while we were there going to drs appointments an very close to interstate making for getting around everywhere very easy. Hot tub was very nice with great views of the city. I would definitely stay there again when I come back to salt lake!

We absolutely loved our stay. Nicole was great with communicating and fast responses. The house was very clean. It had everything thing you needed to cook. The hot tub was amazing as well as the view overlooking parts of slc. Nicole even asked if we would like the ping pong table set up and the kids loved playing on that. The only things we didn’t like was having the bathroom in the master room but it worked for the space. The stairs on the path heading up to room we’re a Bit weird and hard to carry stuff up so older people or with disabilities might have a hard time walking up them. But overall I would highly suggest staying here. I would definitely stay here again. 😊

The musty smell of mold forced us out of this 61 yr. old carpeted basement. We were not greeted or instructed in the use of amenities. So, when the fireplace didn't work, or knobs on the hot tub fell off, were not surprised to be told previous renters broke them. I climbed the steep little hill marked with 12x12 pavers and fell, because there's no handrail. When the water dispenser in the refrigerator didn't work the manager simply siad, they don't advertise one. The noise of running children from the family living full-time upstairs will disturb any peace you can find here. We slept one night with windows open and had to abandon the property in the morning; which started at 6:30 when the family wakes. When I told the manager we left due to the musty air, merely as a courtsey, she claimed no on had ever said that before. Fellow VRBO renters beware.

Absolutely loved this place! It was much bigger than I anticipated. 3 of us girls stayed there but could’ve fit 4 no problem. The beds are spacious and super comfy. Fully stocked kitchen, so you can make dinner’s at home. The hot tub is amazing and has a great view. There’s on street parking. It was perfect for getting to the mountains. We went to Brighton and Snowbird, either took about 30 minutes. It was so quick and convenient. Highly recommend!

Me and my three friends celebrated one of our birthdays here to get away from the kids for a night. The hot tub was great and the views of the city were spectacular. We drove separately and parked where instructed but I still received a message making sure that we were not having a party, which was a little strange. However, the host was accommodating and very helpful with check out, the place was clean and we had a great time.

Beautiful, Clean, and overall was a great place to stay with some friends or some family just for a little getaway.

The good - This is in a great area close to SLC and Park City, with great views of the city. It is close to several hikes and scenic drives. The accomodations were decorated nicely with all the necessities we needed.The bad - Upon arival, it was obvious the homeowner forgot about our reservation, although I had already conversed with the homeowner when I booked it a month prior. VRBO indicated the check in time was 3pm. The homeowner seemed very surpised and iritated when we arrived at 3:30, and stated they needed 30 minutes to clean. Upon entering the property, the yard was not what was depicted in the photos. The yard was overgrown, disheveled and the dirt hill leading to the private entrance is steep with wobbly concrete pavers leading the way. This would be difficult for anyone with any kind of disability, or the elderly to navigate.This place was NOT clean. We had to wash several dishes before we used them. One still had dried food on it. Several glasses on the shelves above the kitchen sink had slimy smudges on them. The outside of the fridge had slimy smudges on it and was not clean. There was a partially leftover jug of milk in the fridge with something nasty on the lid. The toilet did not appear clean with apparent urine spots behind the seat. The windows were filthy. On top of all of this, the place had a very musty odor to it, which lingered the entire stay.It is apparent the insulation/sound barrier between the lower rental unit and the main level house is not sufficient. The homeowners and their children could be heard the majority of our stay. Thankfully, we were really only there to sleep and the bed was comfortable.The homeowner did leave a snack basket by our door for our trouble checking in, so that is a plus, however, if there was any possible way to get a refund, I would have moved to another place (even a Motel 6). Unfortunatley, VRBO said there was nothing they could do.
