The only thing we would have preferred would have been additional softer seating such as a sofa or armchair, but understand that space probably prohibited this.

First time staying at this property, I was not disappointed, it had everything you needed for your stay, first impression was how clean it was, so a big thank you to the cleaners, lovely shower, nice kitchen area, bed very comfortable.

Lovely accommodation, well equipped and comfortable.

It was a little cold, even with central heating, although is was the height of winter.

The place was clean and met most of the expectations: very clean, pleasant bed linen, big, white fluffy towels. They were very nice to leave tea and coffee available, and the bathroom had amenities.

These are just very personal preferences, but I leave them here to help other people make an informed choice: I personally hadn't noticed they had a tiled floor. Otherwise I wouldn't have booked. This is something that I simply cannot conceive of in a sleeping area (especially in this climate). If at least they had some carpets here and there, it would have helped a bit. Also, the big curtains were great for blocking the light if you wanted to sleep, but if you wanted natural light during the day, you were completely exposed in the sleeping area to the by-passers. In the description it says that there is a living room and a bedroom, but there was no living room: just a kitchenette, a table with two chairs and a bed. The shower is fixed, which makes it impossible to rinse yourself properly, unless you can stand on your hands, upside down. And last, but not least, the ceiling was full of thick, waving spider webs. It was indeed a very high ceiling and difficult to reach, presumably, by the cleaning team. But I think it should be part of a regular deep-cleaning cycle to remove them in between guests.

Was a little too warm, not sure how to adjust temperature.

The room was really clean & well set out. it was lovely & warm which was really appreciated after 3-4 hours in a car! everything needed was there, fully equipped in the kitchen. no noise to disturb us! bed was comfy.. the recomended cafe for breakfast was great too. the surrounding area was nice to, no problem for parking. overall a great place to stay!
