The staff are super helpful. They share a map of places to eat and things to do, and a one pager of 'the perfect two days'. They helped us get dinner via delivery. It's very well decorated. It's a 2 minute walk from the road so nice and quiet, but still very convenient. The bed was comfy, and the room was cool on arrival. The outdoor shower was lovely.

The pool was a bit dirty and needs a clean. Otherwise perfect.

We had the most wonderful stay at Abode. Everyone looked after us so well and Aslam was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms and house are spotless and the pool and gardens are wonderful. The food is also great and the surrounding area is full of good beaches, surfing and places to eat and drink. Don’t hesitate to book your holiday in Sri Lanka and choose Abode!

Lovely small hotel. Very helpful manager. Breakfast was lovely. Is away from the centre- 15min walk or short ride- we hired a bike. I would say this place would be best if you could hire the whole thing- ie a group, small four rooms. Depends on your feelings of sharing dining table with others though.

Shower is external. We had a lot of power cuts here, not something that hotel could help, but there is no back up generator.

Fantastic villa with only 4 rooms. The room with the outside bathroom was great. A beautiful well-groomed area where you can meet monkeys, a delicious selection of breakfasts, and a large common area. The manager Aslam was accommodating and has done a lot for our holiday.

Everything at this hotel is just gorgeous. From the beautiful grounds, to the relaxing pool, to the tasty breakfasts, to the perfect bed (so comfy!), to the outdoor shower, to the NICEST staff, it honestly is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Aslam and his team are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the hotel is flawless.

The hotel is really nice and quiet, details are taken care of and the pool is just amazing. There is so much nature and peace. The staff was delightful, the room awesome, especially the outdoors shower and the terrace for morning yoga. We had a friend visiting us for some hours and the staff was super attentive, bringing us fresh coconuts while we were in the pool, I was impressed by that lovely gesture! Definitely a place to go to relax and enjoy your time in Ahangama.

The food at the hotel is organized in a confusing way (you need to order things around 3 hours before, so there's no actual service). We ordered the breakfast the day before, but I would recommend to work on the quality of the food. The taste wasn't very nice, and I would have expected better from it, but still all the other things in the hotel were perfect and in a 9 minutes walk you have a lovely place to have breakfast/brunch: The Kips + a lovely sushi place for dinner at 14 minutes (with a lot of vegan options): Little Bang Kitchen.

We decided to book this hotel as we had had a great experience at Abode Mumbai a few weeks before. It did not disappoint! The hospitality at this hotel was second to none. The manager, Aslam, looked after us incredibly well. He messaged me on WhatsApp before we arrived and then always made himself available for whatever we needed during our stay. The chefs, Miyuru & Kasun, cooked the most delicious breakfasts and dinners for us, and again were so polite, professional and couldn’t do enough for us. Staying at abode hotel felt like staying in a 5* hotel due to the impeccable service of the team there. A huge thank you to everyone who made our time so special! The hotel itself is also really lovely, tastefully done and very comfortable. We had a really wonderful time here and would highly recommend.

Our trip at Abode was fabulous. Everything was great. Breakfasts were delicious, with large choice. We felt like home, but much better. Our room and the House are so nicely decorated. Aslam and his team were perfect, they do everything they could to please us. They organised a private yoga session whigs set our mind free (put 5on5 on you because of mosquitos) We loved it and we will come back for sure.

Exceptional place to stay in Ahangama, actually the best place we stayed at during our trip in Sri Lanka. Bed was very comfortable, chef cooking is beyond incredible and staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is at 30sec walk from the beach to watch sunset. An overall 100/100!!

Mix choice of Breakfast selection with a fresh fruits platter is value for the money. Excellent facilities. courteous, friendly and helpful staff, hats off to Aslam and his team :-)

The best stay in Sri Lanka. The villa is an amazing, well designed place, a true paradise. The owner/staff is very kind and helpful, they helped arrange motorbike rental, surf lessons and more. Highly recommended!

Due to the weather conditions there are some mold in the bathroom, it needs some repainting, but it's not a big deal.

property is kept so clean and maintained. it really is like you are living in someone’s home. automatically feel relaxed when going into your room and the quality of bed and sheets are off the charts!!!

if you want to stay on the beach and have beach view this is not for you. only 100m walk to waterfront.

Beautiful place with excellent service. Perfect location with an awesome secret beach in 5 minute walk. There were so many animals on the territory. Every day we saw monkeys and every evening we watched geckos and fireflies. I hope to return to this place once again.

Bed can be a little bit short for tall people. It's really wide though!
