Our trip to Calella was incredible and the best part about it was this beautiful house. The views from the house were just as good at night as they were during the day. The house has great double doors throughout the back terrace and once all of the doors are open it creates a great breeze that we enjoyed every day. We cooked at the house several nights and I was extremely pleased with the appliances as well as the pots and pans that were provided. The only slight negative was the hot water which seemed to run out quickly since we had 10 people showering at similar times before we went out at night. Overall, we loved this house!!

The Casa Del Mar was truly a home away from home from our family. We felt comfortable, with warm design, comfortable shared sitting areas and dining room and open kitchen. We came with two families and 8 kids total. Our kids, had an incredible time, we loved the outdoor space and the open views of the sea and the villa has a very happy, soft, serene feel to it with incredible light and fresh air throughout the space. The attention to detail is outstanding. We were warmly greeted by Caterina and Gemma when we arrived and they went far beyond our expectations in preparations for our special kosher cooking and food needs that made us feel cared for and welcome. We were stunned by their generosity and kindness. We want to return again as soon as we can. A few notes on location. We did not know what to expect in Costa Brava and Palafrugell. We were there for 12 days and did not run out of activities and wonder. The weather was a bit cold and rainy and I imagine in the summer there is even more to do. We absolutely loved the long walks along the wild coast and the proximity to the botanical gardens and running, walking, biking hiking paths 50 meters from the villa were wonderful. We walked for 3 hours in both the north and south directions along the coast and were simply astonished by the natural beauty. There are some small beaches and more distant beaches that are hard to get to so there are less people around in April when we were there. There are a lot of steps down to the beach so be it was good exercise!! I found myself the only person at the beach some mornings. The town is very quiet, yet there are grocery stores and amenities nearby. For kids there is kayaking, miniature golf, bowling, swimming, and incredible tennis nearby. The little towns around and Girona are also nice visits for culture. Gemma and Caterina were always available and immediately responsive if we ever needed anything. It was an incredible spiritual holiday for us we always remember. We are grateful and humbled by the opportunity to stay at Casa Del Mar. We looked at dozens of other villas in Costa Bravo, and after our experience, we are sure Casa Del Mar is one of the very best you will find.

This was our second stay in Casa de Mar and as last time we loved every minute of it. The house has very elegant and warm design/style where every little detail is thought through. It has very well equipped kitchen and spacious and beautiful bedrooms. We enjoyed the many different dining and seating spaces inside and outside. Gemma was incredibly helpful before, during and after our stay, offering tips about restaurants, biking, covid tests etc. and Sylvia took very good care of us while there. We are already talking about our next holiday in Casa de Mar :)

Casa Del Mar is a home away from home for our family. Upon arrival, a sense of calm overcomes you and you feel instantly relaxed. It's wonderful views over Calella are hard to beat. The house has been beautifully curated to a very high standard, with a particularly lovely dining and kitchen area that is airy and bright and leads on to many outdoor seating areas and the children loved the pool! The House Manager (Gemma) and House Keeping (Silvia and team) were very responsive, requests were met with no trouble and actioned swiftly and efficiently. We always felt looked after and regularly updated on any requests. We would have no hesitation in recommending this superb property as the perfect house and great location for a Spanish holiday. We're looking forward to going back.

Everything about this property was outstanding. The hospitality of the owners, the panoramic location of the terrace, the tasteful decoration of the interiors, as well as the availability of all the amenities that one would require for a pleasant stay. The villa was in a pristine shape when we arrived and Silvia (the lovely housekeeper) has done a great job to keep it as such throughout our stay. Palafrugell is a charming place with numerous beaches and excursions all within a walking distance from the villa. The family (13 of us) 8 days’ experience here was an oasis of tranquility and charm. From the outset, Caterina was amazing to work with. She helped in every aspect and the communication as we got everything organised was superb. She was flexible and thoughtful in so many ways. The house itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The lighting is artistry :) and the views are breathtaking. I would not hesitate to recommend this property - it is everything you would expect it to be and so much more.

We spent a week in late June at Casa del Mar and had an amazing time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our wonderful hosts, Catarina and Jerome. The home surpassed all expectations- the pictures do not do it justice! Our hosts thought of every detail and the home is incredibly thoughtful. It was the perfect accommodations for our two families including three small children (7, 8, and 9 years of age). No small detail overlooked as you could pick any space (there are many spaces both indoors and outdoors) to relax and the home and the beautiful views. Importantly, although the house in not on the beach, the privacy and views from the house are second to none in Calella. The inclusion of daily housekeeping (the lovely Sylvia) and the option to have Sylvia cook was a special treat. Sylvia prepared an amazing dinner for all of us and it may have been one of our best meals during our one week stay in Costa Brava. A tall order given that we had two vegans and two pescatarians. Casa Del Mar also came equipped with plenty amenities (cooler, towels, umbrella etc.) for the beach which came in handy. Another pleasant surprise was the proximity to the nature preserve near by the house. If you love hiking, running, or simply enjoy great views, it’s worthwhile to spend some time exploring the preserve. I know it has been mentioned before, but Catarina, Jerome, and Sylvia were accessible (whattsapp) the entire time of our trip and if we ever needed anything, they ensured all requests we met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our party of 14 were from Australia thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Mar. We had searched for many months on the internet looking for a suitable property for all of us and this wonderful Spanish villa did not disappoint. The photos on the listing showed many photos which was great, however the property is more stunning and beautiful when you arrive. The architecture is stunning, the interior is just beautiful, the villa is tastefully decorated with a mix of Spanish and Moroccan soft furnishings. Every room has its own luxurious bathroom. The kitchen utilities are all high quality and equipped with everything you need - including a very good coffee machine!The villa was immaculate, kept clean and tidy by the wonderful Silvia who came everyday during the week. The communication with the owners was fantastic, they even came to greet us on our first day and also kindly helped us with meals and booking us into local restaurants. The house is so big, with many rooms to relax indoor and outdoor. The view is spectacular and we loved relaxing by the pool (which was a pleasant temperature) and eating outside on the large veranda. It was just magic.We could not fault the place at all, except that it is on a very steep hill and you need to be fit to walk up and down to the beach, so consider a car if you are staying for a week or longer! The nearby beaches are just stunning, and we did enjoy the walks along the beach to all the different villages along the coast. Highly recommend this property, it more than exceeded our expectations and provided our family with a wonderful stay full of great memories..

We had the most wonderful holiday and we enjoyed every moment at Casa Del Mar. This house is absolutely beautiful and the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind to our group. The decor is stunning and they have thought about every last detail. The beaches and restaurants are all walking distance from the property. It was such a peaceful and relaxing escape from Barcelona and we hope to stay again! Thank you for making our visit so perfect!!
