Peter proved to be a gracious host at Coomonderry house near the center of Katoomba. The house has all you need and beautifully presented for a large group of friends or family. Katoomba is such a nice place anyway, let alone such a nice house to live in while you are there.

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The owner turned on the central heating before we arrived just to ensure we were warm. The property presented beautifully inside and out. Perfect mountain retreat, with all comforts for teenagers and parents, mountain walks etc all clearly illustrated for guests to study, Op shops for the girls, perfect mountain weather enjoyed by all.

Perfect for our needs - close to bushwalks, town and great restaurant options. Plenty of space and great amenities. The gardens are stunning and the gorgeous floral arrangements throughout the house impressed our group greatly. Early check-in and late check-out was just the icing on the cake. I booked this accommodation for my 30th birthday; I stayed at Coomonderry with 9 family members and 2 senior dogs. It was such a well-organised and beautiful home, perfect for a large group. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Thank you for supplying such lovely resources! The weekend we visited was quite warm, and we found it way too hot indoors without any portable fans around. We would have loved to feel the breeze, but there were no flyscreens on the windows and the mosquitos ate us alive if we dared to open them even a crack. Having some sort of cooling in the house would have made this an immediate 5 star accommodation. Maybe consider a few portable fans if possible, I know guests visiting in the warmer months will thank you for it! Thank you again for an outstanding weekend in the mountains. We had a lovely stay with 10 family members. The house had ample room to be together or apart, the bedrooms were all comfortable. It was close to town or Echo Point. Highly recommend.

We all enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is conveniently located to the RSL club and to the bus stop, although a pleasant walk to the town centre. The property manager was most helpful.

Fantastic property to stay at over the weekend for our team retreat.

Its a beautiful place, very spacious and comfortable. But had plumbing issues which should have been addressed earlier itself, it caused a bit of trouble. But it was attended immediately when we gave the call to property manager

Lack of response to emails is not acceptable. Will unsubscribe to stays as we continually receive unrelated emails. Very annoying! Couldn't contact manager during the year or on arrival when coffee machine didn't work. It is now Wednesday and still no reply to our email of last Saturday. Somewhere on your blurb it says sleeps 16. We never imagined two could be sleeping on a lounge. Need a gardener to come in and tidy up the place. Sadly neglected. Having said all that, we had a lovely weekend.

Loved the old, large home. Set among other old homes in Katoomba. A walk away from the cbd, but not amongst the hustle and bustle. A park opposite and a 1k walk to the three sisters, a place of stunning scenery. Everything provided, including porta cot, high hair and board games. Comfortable, private place to stay.

Coomonderry Corner is a beautifully restored property which has everything you could need, whilst maintaining its charm. It is an easy walk to local attractions and shops. Really highly recommended!

This house is in a great location. It is spacious for a big group we had 12 people and the house was perfect. Loved the gardens and character of this house. It was great to have a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

The property suited our needs very well & the 3 generations enjoyed themselves immensly.

Plenty of bedrooms and spacious living areas make it ideal to bring children and teens. Neat, clean and close to all the important landmarks in Katoomba.

Coomonderry was a fantastic find for our reunion weekend away with overseas visitors and easily accommodated our group of 5 families with children. Perfectly situated midway between central Katoomba and Echo Point so we could walk to either, kids enjoyed Hinkler Park just across the road and grown ups enjoyed the lovely back garden. A beautiful home in a beautiful part of the blue mountains 😊

Amazing, spacious house in a great location

Great sized house, comfortably slept 5 adult couples for us and had everything you would need, including a washer and iron and ironing board and a very well stocked kitchen. Short walk to a few cafes and the town centre. Highly recommend for large groups

Our extended family had an amazing weekend in Katoomba. Coomonderry was perfect- enough room for all of us and walking distance to restaurants and tourist spots. Highly recommend 😀

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating an 80th birthday at this well-located Katoomba cottage. It easily accommodated our party of 11 and was an easy walk into town. It was clean, warm and charming. We highly recommend!

We had a great experience! The house is within walking distance to echo point and the Main Street, the house has heaps of room but is also super cosy, had a great time and Peter is a lovely host!

This was a return visit for us. Peter was super helpful, going beyond the call of duty to bring in the shopping delivery I ordered on the wrong day (before our stay started) and looking for lost belongings afterwards. It is a really great space and suited us well. We are a big family with adult children with partners as well as a younger child and the house worked really well for us. It is an easy walk to the Three Sisters and other bushwalks, as well as into town. It has a great kitchen and a long table which fits lots of people. I would highly recommend it

We were a group of 7 single adults and the house was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable (with electric blankets!). The loungeroom was suited for a large group, as was the kitchen and dining room. Perfect location too - very close to the RSL and only a short walk uphill to the main street of Katoomba. We will definitely be coming back again.
