At $390/night (after fees and taxes), we probably over-paid for just two couples. The home was comfortable and included everything we would need. The beds were too soft for our liking, but that's just personal preference. The location was great, a short drive to downtown and plenty of wineries, and walking distance to a nice shopping center with a Target and restaurants.

Beautiful, clean house with a lot of local charm! It was just what we were looking for and cozily accommodated our family. I was really impressed with how well kept everything was. The yard and garden area was lovely to spend time in, and it was nicely located. It was quiet, but also short walking distance to stores. We all agreed that we would come back.

Pros: Quiet, good location, single level home with comfortable beds and ample closet space. Coffee makers and coffee provided. Satellite tv.
Cons: Broken garbage disposal,, broken dishwasher. A replacement portable dishwasher was provided outside the home on back porch, which was fully loaded with dirty dishes upon our arrival. We had no idea how long those dirty dishes had been there so we ran the portable twice. Home only provided two tiny bars of soap and a small dishwashing liquid- no other cleaners were present. No extra pillows, blankets, bed linens either to be found which was strange for a home rental—very bare bones.

This is a proper vacation home rental property. The house was amazing. Placed on several acres of property and close to everything. It's steeped in history and it was like staying at a resort. Plenty of towels, coffee and walnuts to gather.

March 2021 Stay
Good location, however very dated house that needs to be updated. One shower/bath for 8 people was truly disappointing. Towels and rugs are old and need to be replaced. If you just need a place to lay you head, this is the place. But don’t expect anything modern.

This is our second time renting this property. We love it! No neighbors. Lovely view to the east. Close to activity. The house is nicely furnished (livingroom, dinning room particularly inviting). The "back deck" (area out the livingroom) is just LOVELY!!! Covered sitting area, complete with table and chairs. Round fire pit. (The only drag of this house is the one full bath. But it is workable (we had 6 adults to consider). We'll be back!!!

May 2022 - Bringing Families Together
Doc's Place was just what we were hoping it would be: welcoming, complete (even brand new sheets for the Pack-N-Play), comfortable, convenient. We spent time with local family, hiked lots of great trails between here and SLO, ate amazing food, drank some pretty nice wine, and played in the chilly ocean. A great place to land for all six + baby of us! Thanks to staff for letting us know of last-minute changes and helpful spirit.

Great location to nearby wineries and downtown Paso Robles. Conveniently located next to a shopping area including Starbucks, Target, Ulta, and other stores. The home is clean and has plenty of space for 8 people

Easy check in and allowed early access upon request. The house has everything you need if you want to cook. TV was kinda confusing with the many remotes provided, but we eventually got it running. I advise to bring your own streaming device if you want to watch a certain service. But they do have cable.
