Nice cabin! We enjoyed our stay! Nice area! Love that the cabin is pet friendly and our dog gets to enjoy vacation with us! Hope to return next year! Check in and out was easy! Would recommend close to Harrison.

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. Able to fit 22ft trailer and truck in driveway. Had gas grill so no need for charcoal.

We had a nice stay in a great little cabin not too far from the lake. The 4th of July fireworks were really nice to watch from the back deck. The cabin keeps the feel of a rustic 1950's up north experience. Would definitely like to stay again soon!

We stayed 7 nights. Cozy, clean, smelled great.
We had everything we needed.
My huge concern was the shower. It is in need of a suction cup assist rail in the shower.
I fell in the shower the first day trying to enter.
Bought a bar for my stay and used towels on the floor so I wouldn't slip again. The shower was squeaky clean.
Rooms are spacious and cozy. We loved the back deck.
May consider replacing queen mattress in the future or add a thicker topper.
I would recommend this place to friends.

Very very nice little cabin. Decorated well, with a great shower, decent beds. Nice kitchen. Probably could use a bit more silverware/pots, but overall it was great. Owner pretty much thought of everything. Harrison has a great coffee shop downtown with GF items and other pastries. Much cheaper and better then Starbucks. I'd would book again in a second. Some good diners around also. Fall colors were outstanding at the end of the week.

Cozy little cabin, close to town. Quite neighborhood. Has the necessities which makes traveling easier! My husband and i enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Harrison in the future. Thanks for being pet friendly our dog enjoyed himself and he is part of our family so is always included 😊.

The cabin is well laid out. The host has it well stocked with plenty of towels, washcloths, bedding, dishes
We brought our cornhole boards & enjoyed the backyard with firepit & a decent view of the lake.
Rebekah is a very responsive host with almost instant responses & even a few suggestions & tips for area activities.
This was a nice trip with 3 adults & our 3 college bound kiddos! Will definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant, comfy, and relaxing stay at this cabin. We planned it around a shopping trip to Jay’s Sporting Goods in Clare, since we live in southern Michigan and didn’t want to drive both ways and shop all in one day. The cabin is a charming place and was equipped with everything we needed. There have been improvements made and blending the new with the old has been very well done. A good time, a good stay, and we appreciated being able to bring our Dachshund, Finley! Judy and Jack

We traveled to lower Michigan from Marquette to attend our son's graduation from CMU. Harrison was a very nice place to stay and a short commute to Mt. Pleasant. The Squirrle's Nest Cabin was the perfect place for us to stay! It had everything we needed, our communications with the owner were very pleasant (her recommendations for restaurants were yummy!), and the neighborhood was just delightful! Highly recommend staying here to all of our family and friends.

Manager response..
Was told, half way thru your stay she would come by check with us and take towels wash and bring back..did not happen..
She did text back on a toilet issue..what wasn't working properly. I fixed it, a thank you would of been appreciated..
In know way did I want compensated. She was very nice to let us check in early.. which we really appreciated..
Everything worked out for our family gathering..everyone liked the area and cabin..
Left early on Friday the 5th..
Two weeks stay over headed back to Florida...

This was an excellent proterty for a short get away. Cozy/comfortable vibes. Clean. Close to Budd Lake. Plenty around the area for small children. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice up north cabin
The cabin was nice and cozy a true up north cabin. We had a few issues, the septic gurgled and the toilet wouldn’t flush at times. The kitchen table and chairs were broken and unable to be used, happy we had folding chairs and a camping table of our own to use.

The Perfect Cozy Getaway
Such an adorable spot. The perfect up north cabin for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple. We had a couple little snags but the owner helped us right away and we hope to visit again soon. We took our daughter skiing at The Snow Snake in Harrison and this cabin is only about 8 minutes away! The cabin is well equipped with items from breakfast to baking and even had extra blankets to keep ourselves toasty. This isn't luxury this is the way to enjoy Northern Michigan. We had everything we needed! We recommend staying here.

Traditional Cabin
Comfy cozy. Old fashioned yet modernized. Tall hardwoods and pines surround and continually shade the property... but neighbors are near... you will not be alone in the woods. It's quite private though. You can see the lake but it is not a panoramic view nor is it easily accessible from the cabin... you are not on or near the water.. I didn't care as I was there for the privacy and quiet. Cute and quaint and retro. I'd rent again.

Classic Mi Cottage Country
Around here locals say: "20 lakes with-in 20 miles". Believe it. If you fish, bring your stuff. All in knotty pine, this cottage is warm and cozy. North of Clare and South of Rosscommon, there is prime ATV nearby. Looking forward to next visit.

Family visit
Nice cabin close to beautiful lake and state park. Communication with owner was good and easy. We also loved the fact that we could have our dogs with us. Well worth the money to stay in this cabin.

Great stay
Great communication, easy check in and access to the cabin, very clean and just about anything you could need was provided! We were there to see our grandson for the 1st time, and so they were able to come over and hang out all day! Will definitely stay again!

My buddy and I used this as a home base to ice fish in the area. The cabin was very clean and had lots of thoughtful extras like K cups and soap and shampoo. The cabin was very stocked with pots and pans an utensils. Thank you!

Spent 6 days at the cabin for the holidays. We had a great time just relaxing and getting away from down state.
