Tara, the host is absolutely lovely and accommodating. The space itself is clean, updated, and close to Sidney. A great spot!!

This property was perfect in every way for our five-week stay. The space was designed by our fabulous host,Tara, and shows a professional understanding of how to maximize space. The layout and lighting were excellent. The kitchen is very well-equipped and well-stocked, and the cozy but bright living room provided many evenings of TV watching (Netflix included!), game playing and reading. Our little dog, Bandit, settled right in to his new, temporary home and enjoyed his play times with Tara and Dan's sweet little dog, Penny. The fully-fenced yard gave Bandit a safe, new environment to explore and play in.
We did not take advantage of our private patio because of the cool temperatures, but we did use the barbecue on a couple of occasions.
An under-deck storage area allowed us to store our ebikes securely when we were not using them to explore beautiful Sidney by the Sea.
The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac about a 20-minute walk to downtown Sidney, and there are numerous access points to the harbour within easy walking distance.
Which brings me to the host. Tara is quite simply one of the loveliest people you will ever meet, and a superb host. She welcomed us warmly, and throughout our stay was gracious, generous and kind. Whatever we needed, she provided.
Honestly, this property is as good as it gets. Better, even!

The property was ideal for us, just the right size for two, everything laid on in the way of white goods, kitchen equipment, etc, The owner was very attentive and relaxed, catering for our every need. The outdoor space was lovely to relax in. We stayed here because it was close to my son who lives in Sidney, and he too was mightily impressed. Coastal walks along Roberts Bay and Shoal bird reserve are nearby and there is even a wonderful fish and chips place just down the road. We’ll be back!

We stayed in Tara's suite for a month . The suite is very comfortable and well equipped .The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and a short walk to town. Tara is a wonderful host and will help in any way to make your stay comfortable . We look forward to staying again

Wonderful Spot!
The unit was clean, modern, and quiet. Check in was straight forward and the host was easy to reach out to. Having the washer and dryer available was a bonus, as we were there for 8 nights. Location was great, literally walking distance to all the restaurants and shops we wanted to check out. Plus, it was so close to the water front. Would definitely book again! Thanks for a great stay, Tara!

We had an excellent stay at “Home Suite Home”. It is quiet and comfortable, close to downtown Sidney and easy to access the Saanich Peninsula and Victoria. Our hosts were friendly and could be quickly contacted when we had questions. We highly recommend it!

A lovely bright and quiet apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, lots of towels and anytime-access to the laundry room. An easy walk to the waterfront and Sidney's many shops, restaurants and coffee spots . Tara is a warm and welcoming host who's on hand for anything you need and also very respectful of your privacy. We've stayed in numerous places and this ranks near the top with spacious living area, nice quiet street, kitchen, private entrance, terrace and full bathroom. Not far from Robert's Bay for beachcombing and walks in residential area.

Quiet, comfortable stay
We had an excellent stay at “Home Suite Home”. It is quiet and comfortable, close to downtown Sidney and easy to access the Saanich Peninsula and Victoria. Our hosts were friendly and could be quickly contacted when we had questions. We highly recommend it!

Great location and a warm welcome!
A lovely bright and quiet apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, lots of towels and anytime-access to the laundry room. If you are looking for a comfortable and presious suit, a quiet place to rest, the and meet incredible people, you are in the right place :) The suit had everything you need, and much more, a comfortable sofa, dishwasher, microwave, stove, programable coffee machine, an incredible bed & pillows, full laundry, two TVs, gas chimney, a lot of space and drawers, all the cutlery you'll need, a nice bathroom and an independent closed patio (perfect for pets). Its in a very secure location with some bus stops near. Also Tara and Dan are incredible hosts, respectful, kind and always ready to help. (best hosts we ever known <3) We are sure you'll love it :)

A Great Place to Stay
Tara & Dan’s suite was ‘homebase’ for 4 weeks for 2 active retirees & our 14 month old Cockapoo as we visited family & friends on Southern Vancouver Island. The neighbourhood is quiet & we felt safe there. It was an easy walk or short drive to/from downtown Sidney where we accessed grocery stores, bakeries, great eateries & lots of specialty shops! And a short bike ride to get onto some of the regional trails
The suite was very quiet, clean, bright & well appointed. Loved having washer/dryer, 2 TV’s, fireplace, very comfy bed, wifi, well equipped kitchen & lots of bath towels! We really appreciated having a place to park our car & a spot to keep our ebikes! Due to variable weather we didn’t use the patio & BBQ area.
Tara & Dan were very friendly & so welcoming... very gracious hosts!! Tara was quick to respond to any & all communications.
We sure enjoyed our stay here & highly recommend it to others! Thanks Tara & Dan for sharing your home with us!

The suite is exactly as advertised, very clean, very functional. All the comforts of home, in a convenient location. 5-6 minutes to the ferry terminal, walking distance to Sidney waterfront. Our family had a very pleasant stay at Tara's, we highly recommend it.

3 week summer family vacation
The suite was perfect for our family needs and Tara and Dan were excellent hosts. They went above and beyond with lending us crabbing supplies and giving us some fresh salmon, preserves and muffins. Would love to return.

This property was fantastic. Very well situated in Sidney - close to the water and the main shopping and restaurant area. Tara was a great and engaging host. A wonderful apartment and a delightful stay!
This apartment is truly wonderful. The owner, Tara, has lovingly designed a unit which carefully uses every bit of space. It is very comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. Tara and her family are gracious hosts and even provided excellent restaurant suggestions. There is a private patio and parking just a few feet from our private entrance. We cannot say enough about our visit and our lovely apartment. 🤗�😍�😄�

Great leaping off point for exploring the peninsula!
This was a clean and easy to use place with a comfy firm bed and all that we needed. We found the hosts to be so pleasant and helpful and had a great visit. Bunks are tucked into closet but my 11&12 year olds fit into them and didn’t complain once.

Peaceful, Relaxing, Perfect apartment
We had an incredible stay. The host is kind, warm, and accommodating. She thought of everything a guest might need or want to be comfortable. The apartment was perfectly remodeled, well appointed, soft sheets, lovely comforter, nice bright natural light. Her garden is amazing and such a treat. We loved the fresh banana bread. It was the perfect stay. It exceeded our highest hopes. Thank you!!

A great suite and a superb host!
My second time here and just as wonderful! My cat especially enjoyed the sun on the enclosed patio (So did I)! Tara and family have made my stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Tara has been superb in making me feel welcome! The suite itself is clean, comfortable and well-located with all amenities close at hand! I highly recommend it and, in fact, will be returning later this month, as my flooded condo undergoes repairs.

Clean, comfortable and right price
My wife and I stayed here in early March and found this rental to be very clean, comfortable and close to all amenities. Tara was a very pleasant host and often checked with us to make sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return. Thank you Tara.

Home Away from Home
Tara’s rental suite was truly home away from home. It’s a beautiful renovated apartment with all the comforts. Full kitchen has all the pots and pans and dishes, cutlery, wine glasses. I loved the single cup coffee maker. She had the pantry equipped with coffee pods, tea, sugar, spices...,She also left some fruits and milk jug in the fridge. Which was a fantastic as we arrived late in the night and were very happy to be able to make coffee the next morning. The full bathroom had shampoo and conditioner and I loved the dove body wash. and the shower. Lots of towels and linens. The WIFI was super fast as well as the big TV. The apartment is very clean and the fireplace heated up very well. We slept so well on the comfortable bed and pillows . Bonus of shared laundry . Shopping plaza is walking distance for groceries, wine, drug store...,) Tara and her family are very friendly and awesome and very helpful. She has so much knowledge about Sidney and Victoria. If ever we were to visit, this is the place we would want to stay. This apartment truly leaves up to its name....home sweet home,

The suite was tastefully decorated, cozy and very well stocked. Our hosts were warm friendly and very accommodating. It was the perfect home base from which to explore the Saanich peninsula!
