Second stay at this lovely property. Everything pictured is accurate. Home is equipped with all you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Micah provided many great resources for the area. Check-in and out was a breeze, home was clean. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return again!

We really enjoyed our get-away. All six members of our party agreed that this was a top-notch property. Every room in the house was tastefully appointed and well stocked. That is also true of the outdoor amenities as well. We were provided with clear instructions and guides, and helpful hints and suggestions. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their lake home, and insure that guests have n enjoyable time.

This VRBO was extremely clean, well kept inside and out and was well stocked from the essentials to all the kitchen supplies you need. All the comforts of home with a beautiful back drop of lake Michigan. Will definitely stay her again.

The house exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few group meals. It was well equipped. We made pizzas one evening in the outdoor pizza oven and they turned out amazing. We rode the bikes around the neighborhood, went fishing, kayaking and played table tennis. We didn't use the kayaks since we had our own, but plan to use them and the paddle boards on our next visit. Everything at the property was top quality. The beds were comfortable and the living room with large TV allowed us to watch football games and a movie from the massive DVD collection. The lake view from the bench by the water is where we had our coffee in the morning. It was truly a wonderful experience. They really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. We did have some bumps in the road. We arrived the day that Rowley's Bay Resort caught fire. We weren't able to get to the property because of firetrucks and then we needed to wait for them to turn the electric back on to the property. Micah had a house lined up for us in case we couldn't get in that evening. It could have been very stressful trying to relocate 7 people, but Micah stayed on top of the situation which allowed us to enjoy an evening watching the sunset. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the DiSalvo Lake House over Labor Day weekend! The house was very easy to find, minutes drive to Sister Bay for groceries or Ellison Bay for a quieter vibe. Rowley's Bay provided a sheltered area for kayaking which was gorgeous. There is also a nice little county beach park about 2 miles from the house if the kids need some sand to lay in. You can also walk there on a 1 mile wooded trail behind the nearby resort. So much to do here both at the house and the area, could have stayed much longer! Micah was an outstanding host, helping by phone with the pizza oven when we were trying to light it. (The pizzas were great!) We definitely hope to return to DiSalvo Lake House in the future!

My 6 siblings and I enjoyed our stay at your lake house very much! We appreciated all of the "small things" that make a difference (ample paper products, hand/dish/dishwasher soap, bathroom products, bath/kitchen towels, etc.). We would definitely choose to stay there again if we come back to Door County in the future. Two things we talked about that would enhance one's stay (for consideration)... Adding screen front and side doors to assist with the bugs coming into the lake house and a firepit. Our thanks to you for making our stay there memorable, Micah & August!

Our stay at the DiSalvo Lakehouse went beyond our expectations. We had a full house of 12 including 4 grandchildren. There was something for everyone. Biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, movies, zip lining....we did it all. So wonderful to have a large kitchen and patio for cooking and grilling and the outdoor pizza oven was a hit. We are so thankful the DiSalvo family shared their family vacation home with us. We hope to go back.

Enjoyed our stay in Door County very much. Celebrated turning 70 (or so) with long time friends. Location worked awesome for playing tourist and also for quiet hiking at Newport State Park. Using the pizza oven was a learning curve, but the end result was delicious pizza! Observed eagles every day and lots of miscellaneous shore birds. Home was very well stocked, no need to run to the store. Thank you Micah for sharing your beautiful home!

Excellent communication with hosts. Home had everything we needed for eight people - adult kids used the upstairs bunks. Very comfortable and not fussy. Too cool to use the outside toys … this time.

Excellent experience! One word to describe our stay- hygge! Beautifully updated home while maintaining original charm. Kitchen was perfect for making family meals including loaves of homemade bread. We took full advantage of mild January WI weather (27 degrees)- family walk identifying animal tracks in the snow, skipping stones on the lake, and attempt at morning sunrise (cloudy) sitting on well positioned bench! Indoor time was just as fun- puzzles, cribbage, & board games kept cozy by the natural wood burning fireplace. Very responsive host! Thank you for sharing your family lake home with us DiSalvo Fam!

Our family of five (ages 7 - 70) spent Thanksgiving weekend in the DiSalvo Lakehouse. The kitchen was well stocked making our turkey dinner a success. The view of the lake was lovely. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to groups who like a secluded venue.

We’ve been coming to Door County every fall for many years. This house did not disappoint. All of the amenities made for a great home away from home. Set up very well for families with small children. Spacious kitchen with lots of room to cook and enjoy your meals as a family. GREAT lake views. We’ll be back!

We loved every minute of being here. We were blown away with the home as well as the waterfront where we saw 2 bald eagles and the northern lights! We will def be back. Homeowners were great to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay! Owners had everything you could think of… we forgot birthday candles and even found boxes of candles in the kitchen! We even had a chance to try out the kayak!

Door County is a special place and this house was the pathway to some magical moments. We will return.

Very cute updated home right on Lake Michigan. Lots of movies, games for family/friends to enjoy. Everything you might need, including laundry room is included. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought in meeting every possible need of their guests.

We had such a wonderful weekend at the DiSalvo Lakehouse. The house itself was absolutely perfect and totally fit our groups needs. We traveled with 3 kids all under 3 and they had plenty to keep them busy which we appreciated. The hosts thought of everything so we didn’t have to worry about forgetting to pack anything. The area was quiet but close enough to all the fun in Sister Bay. We definitely plan on visiting again!

We had a wonderful week in this home. The area is quiet and relaxing, and the water view of Lake Michigan was beautiful. We made dinner most nights, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, toaster, coffee makers, etc. Great home, and we would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity. We have stayed here for the last three years. That answers for itself. Our entire family had a great time!! The owner is super great. He even called us to make sure we did not need anything.

We all enjoyed our stay. The home is very well equipped with everything you need. The lakeside location is spectacular. The red chairs are so comfortable and deck with grill and ping pong table make outdoor living so nice. All our needs were met and we loved our vacation at the VRBO. The beds are so comfortable. We never turned on our TV but the kids enjoyed the large TV and selections from Grandpa Bobs video collection. I would recommend this home for a great vacation.

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It was extremely clean and accessible for every person in our group ranging in age from 12-82. Overall, the home feels like many happy memories have been made there and we added to that with a great family vacation and many happy memories for our family. Many amenities, kitchen has excellent assortment of pans and tools, quality appliances. Serene setting with gorgeous views from nearly every room. Ideal outdoor spaces with plenty of chairs. We loved the bench out by the water. The communication was great. We didn't have any needs or specific questions while we were there, as everything is well marked and in good order. We would highly recommend!
