A modern house with all amenities, even for a long stay. We stayed more than two weeks and almost felled that we were at home. The house is a lot more spacious than what we can appreciate on photos and the view is terrific! If you look carefully, you can even see the head of the Kerid Crater. Also, it is well located in the center of all main attractions in south/west Iceland. Hosts were prompt to answer questions and communications were clear.

We loved the location with great access to many hiking trails and great places to visit. The host was very helpful and was always quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend this property!

Close enough to Selfoss to grab groceries and a couple dinners (food court and Konungs for coffee). 30-40 mins from Thingvellier. We did the Golden Circle one day, Vik the next, and then Vestmannaeyjar islands. It was a great home base and was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 parents 2 teens). So nice to relax and sit on the deck, listening to the birds and taking in the views.

We had an amazing week at Elisabet’s house. Retrieving the keys was easy, the house has everything you need (and more) and has the perfect location to start touring Iceland. The house has a fresh modern look and absolutely offered enough space for us (6 family members).

We travelled with two adults and three teenagers. This is a great location for the National Park and the Golden Corcle. We spent three nights here before continuing around ring road. Fantastic amenities and very easy to work with property owners.

Ein schönes, sehr sauberes Ferienhaus in guter Lage zu vielen Touren. Die Aussicht ist klasse, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 15 Minuten Entfernung. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.

Great place, comfortable, with lots of space, windows all around with a 360 degree vieuw, modern kitchen, comfortable beds. It is a good place to explore the golden circle und southern island.

We loved the house and its stunning location. We received very clear directions and many helpful sightseeing tips from the owners. The house was a convenient base for driving into Reykjavik and to other popular tourist destinations. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. We had some trouble operating the locks, and both the induction stove and the washing machine were a little tricky. Our only suggestion is that a microwave would be really useful.

About 20 minutes from the town of Selfoss which has grocery stores, gas, food. A great location to get to most of the Southern part of the island in under 2 hours or so. An hour from the capital, about 2 hours from Vik, just over an hour to catch a ferry to the Westman islands, easy access to geyser/gulfoss/secret lagoon. Host very responsive and helpful. You just have to go to Iceland!! We had the most incredible trip. It is so very beautiful - no way at picture can show it. You have to experience it. The house and it surroundings was amazing, and Tomas and Elisabet were very helpfull. It was also wery easy to plan the trip through Homeaway. We were very glad we didn't book something in the city, because we lived in the moste amazing rough and beautiful nature. It was esay to get there. we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious with lots of light and all modern amenities, including a dishwasher and a washing machine, which came in very handy. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has 360 degrees of beautiful views . Thomas greeted us upon arrival and gave us a nice overview of the area as well as suggestions on the route back to the airport. The house is located 15 minutes from Selfoss, close to Geysir and Gullfoss and is a good home base for exploring southern Iceland. Reykjavik is within an hour and Vik is within 2. From the picture you may think that the house is very isolated, but that is not the case and you can see other houses nearby (but not too close). Be sure to follow directions they give you and don't use Google maps.

This home is spacious, with comfortable beds, and amazing views. There is nothing additional that we needed than what this house offered. I would certainly return to this home and I highly recommend it to others.

Amazing home really well stocked and the location is perfect - views are breathtaking - the perfect get away

Our family of 6 stayed in this lovely home for a week in July. The house is new and very comfortable. The owner was very kind, even though he had to wait hours for us to arrive due to a late plane and long line at the car rental. The location provides a great base from which to explore. Iceland is large, so we did spend a lot of time driving but we found the home conveniently placed to see sights such as geysir, Glufloss, Thingvellir, and even a day trip and hike in Landmannalauger. We miss being there already and would love to return one day!

The house is in a great location with wonderful 360 views of the hills and very peaceful. The pictures on the website did not fully portray how nice the house is and we enjoyed the light airy nature of the house. It was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Finally Elisabet the owner went to no end of trouble to help us and we would definitely recommend the property.

This was the PERFECT retreat for our family of 4. It's breathtaking views, home ammenities, size and proximity to all stops on the Golden Circle made our trip unforgettable. The owners were very accomodating and easy reach both via email and phone. Stay here...you will love it.
