The location is amazing! The house was so clean with comfy beds. We really enjoyed the back porch swing and all the yard games. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!

Perfect location on the Guadalupe for tubing and fishing and just chilling out. Fire pit at night was very nice, all the outdoor lights come on and off automatically, which is nice. We used the grill one night to make fajitas and turned out great, sat out on the patio with the whole family overlooking the river. Kids loved the converted garage/bedroom. My only complaint would be the master bedroom bed is simply a futon, not a mattress at all, a bit too firm for my taste, but did the trick. Kids played board games that were included with the house. The shed has everything you need from paddleboard, outdoor games, I barely used a lot of the outdoor equipment that I brought with me because it was already there! Thanks again for a terrific stay.

We all had such a great time and didn't want to leave. The house is so comfortable and well stocked. It's a great location, upriver from where the public enters so it's much quieter. And if you decide to float the horseshoe, it's just a short walk back to the house. We can't wait to come again!! Thank you for being a great host Brandon!

Property is as described. Brandon is hands down best owner we have rented from. Checked on us the day of arrival to make sure everything was as planned. Very Clean property, location is amazing and everything needed was available and accessible on property. Wonderful house. Beds are comfy. The hosts supplied lots of kind treats to welcome us and were very responsive with questions. Location on the water is perfect. Lots of space and plenty of water toys. I would definitely come again. The cooking supplies are somewhat limited. So if you like to cook and plan on cooking meals that require more than a few smaller pots, maybe pack that. But overall a great stay!

Fabulous! The property was meticulously clean and was perfect for our family vacation. Brandon was just a text away and replied quickly. The only suggestion I would leave is to have enough silverware (forks and spoons) to accommodate 12 people.

My family had a great time , the house was amazing and even tho the days were extremely hot the house remained cool. The river was quiet so the kids could enjoy the little private beach we had away from the main body of tubers, but still could go and tube the river with on the loop around. Overall a great family property

We needed a change from the beach and selected Canyon Lake and found the perfect vacation getaway! White Water Ranch Retreat is great. The house is in the perfect part of the river where there is not a lot of tubers. You can sit in the river or by the river in solitude! The house was clean. It has everything you need. Big yard, front and back, for the kids to play. Our grandkids loved it and didn’t want to go home. It has a big back porch with lighting, seating, big swing to enjoy the outdoors. We loved it and we are definitely going back.

Wonderful week! My husband and I took our seven kids, ages 8-24, and grandson, almost 2, here for the week to have some family time. We brought several tubes and two kayaks of our own, not realizing that we would be able to launch them into the Guadalupe right from the back yard. What a nice surprise! This property was by far the best that we saw this week as we tubed down the River. It was very family friendly as our 8YO could safely wander about the edge of the property in full view of the back porch. The property has a gentle slope down to the water that most anyone could tread. Our 2YO grandson could even stand in the knee-deep water that the edged the property to toss rocks again and again. The porch and swings were enjoyable. I cannot say enough about the amenities that this property offers! House was spotless and set up in a way that made the best use of the space. Everything about the place was so nice! So glad we found it!

Highly recommend staying here! The pictures don’t even do it justice! The yard was absolutely stunning and the house was exceptionally clean and accommodating to our every need! A dreamland for kids and adults! The Host was immediate at responding when needed, and we are so glad we stayed here! We will definety be back!

A cooks delight!! Indoors and out, is setup for entertaining and relaxing. Beautiful spot on the river. Great fishing, close to restaurants and stores. Urgent care close by that we needed to utilize for 3 year old. Comfy, spacious and great amenities. We'll be back often! Excellent hosts too ❤️

This was BY FAR the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous, the home is beautiful and host Brandon did the best job making sure our stay was great. We cannot recommend this place enough! Our family of six loved everything about this place!

Fantastic experience! Property was clean, well maintained, and so much fun. The space in the backyard was perfect for soccer, three little boys (2, 4, 7) loved the river, fishing, basketball, and the bunk room. Loved our time here and will be back when we return to S Texas!!!

We had a mother/daughter weekend at this home and it was perfect! As a frequent VRBO renter, I was pleased with everything about this property. You can tell that the owners care about your actual experience and not just a place to stay. The instructions were thorough, the home was stocked with tons of amenities with easy instructions, and high on my priority list… super clean inside and out!! We will be renting this property again!

We enjoyed our Family Christmas Celebration on the River in this wonderful location. The house is clean, furnished great and the location allowed us to watch the wildlife and fishermen from indoors. We would definitely recommend it to our friends.

My family and I booked this home for my wedding this past weekend. It was beyond perfect! The check in was so easy, communication from Brandon was great. We didn’t need anything, but he let us know he was there if needed and kept checking in. The house was exactly as listed and such a good vacation spot. It was freezing so didn’t use much of the outside, but look forward to staying in the warmer months. You won’t be disappointed.

We booked this house for our family of 6 and it was well worth it. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still plenty close enough to easily go and see all the hill country has to offer. Short drives to the canyon lake gorge and canyon lake overlook, as well as, Gruene, New Braunfels, and Natural Bridge Caverns. Kids loved the access to the river for fishing and plenty of space to roam, and when we weren’t casting our lines we were sitting by the river making s’mores and memories. The house exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked in. Brandon was extremely easy to communicate with, super accommodating, and gave extra ideas for activities that were local/ hidden gems to do with our kids. From the ample outdoor space, to the amenities like the fire pit and patio, we were more than pleased with our stay.

Our group of 8 stayed here for a week. Communication with Brandon was always through and timely. Check in was easy and the home was exactly as advertised. Access to the river was ideal as we swam and paddle boarded everyday. We loved that it was upriver from the start of the Horseshoe float so there was minimal traffic along the river. The kids loved the new bunk room and we loved the back patio and views. We would definitely stay here again! The only suggestion we have would be to add dressers in the bedrooms. Living out of our suitcases for 7 nights was not ideal. Unpacking would have made things easier and more orderly. Other than that detail - everything else was wonderful.

Everything was clean and updated. They provided all kinds of thoughtful extras. Communication was easy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We Can’t wait to go back!

The husband wanted a fishing trip, and that's exactly what he got! Wow, what a great location -- the riverfront is really just unbeatable. He was out there daily for hours and also did a guided fishing trip nearby, further down the river. There was plenty to keep the kids busy also, between games, fishing, tubing, and paddleboarding, so we all had a blast. Word of caution: find a way of checking water levels throughout the Horseshoe loop before you go -- the first piece was deceptively peaceful and pleasant to float, but from the first bend on, all we were doing was hauling kids and tubes and tripping over rocks for an hour - oof. As for the house itself, there are some things to note: the AC in the new (and nicely done!) bunk room is much more effective than the main house, and the beds are more comfortable. The second bathroom is quite small and would be a serious challenge if the house was at max capacity, unless the master bedroom occupants are cool with sharing theirs, which is much bigger. Bathroom towels are plentiful but small and quite rough (although I did notice vinegar in the laundry room, which is likely an effort to soften them). If we stayed again, I would bring my own towels, because we're divas - ha! Don't forget to bring your own firewood; the fire pit by the river with the swing-over grill was a fabulous spot for roasting hotdogs, burgers, and s'mores. There is a grocery store a few minutes drive away that had all the essentials. The owner was prompt in responding to questions, both prior to booking and during our stay. Overall, a great experience -- memories were made here!

Stay here was amazing. The house is beautiful and enough room for are group of 8 Adults. The location is perfect and private but just a few houses down from the Horseshoe tubing. Water is cold but when the sun came out it was definitely tubing weather. Kayaks and games provided were a nice bonus - so much to do we didn't really leave the house. We walked to concert and it was perfect since traffic was pretty crazy. Ended last night at the firepit and smores. Amazing stay - I definitely recommend - one of the nicest yards I saw on the river and the house is as beautiful as the pictures!

Loved this home for our weekend getaway. Backyard was so peaceful and overlooked the river. The interior was bright, newer appliances, great furnishing, and everything available to just whip up some quick meals and relax. Owner was proactive every step of the communication and very professional. Highly recommend this home.

This was our 5th stay at the Whitewater Ranch Retreat. We typically go in October but have also stayed during the summer. We have always had a wonderful time. We have taken our kids all over the country and they consistently say this is their favorite place to stay. The house is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and my kids enjoy the large yard in addition to the river. The location on the river is great for kids and adults. The owners are easy to reach and communicate with. We are already planning our next trip!

This home was nothing short of amazing! It is perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. The massive backyard with large deck, fire pit, and riverfront swing is unbelievable! The property manager, Brandon, is one of the best. He went out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy all that the property had to offer. We hope to return soon!
