My 1 night stay in the cottage was a wonderful time away. I live about 3 hours from the location and just wanted a place to get away for a bit. I did some fishing, met an awesome neighbor, and even swam a bit. All before passing out on somw of the best darn pillows I have ever used!

This neat lakefront cottage is an excellent place to come home to during a visit to the Hot Springs NP area. With Lake Ouachita State Park, and other parks and National Forest areas to fish and hike, we found this a great place to come home to. Updated and comfortable, perfect for a couple or maybe a young family. The owners were responsive to questions and helpful with ideas and suggestions for spots to eat/visit. Highly recommend this VRBO!

The cabin was extremely clean and well-equipped with everything needed for a short weekend getaway! My only “want” would have been access to a fire pit outdoors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when the weather is more comfortable to do some outdoor activities.

I can't say enough good things about this little place. But I'll try! First, the communication was absolutely excellent. A storm had blown through the night before and knocked power out, but the owner kept us completely informed so we could make a decision about whether to go in or not. We did and, boy, am I glad! The place was absolutely immaculate. Not a speck of dirt anywhere. Everything was very modern and up to date, with lots of little attention to detail that made us smile. It's located in a nice neighborhood. We met one of the neighbors and enjoyed a fantastic conversation with him. Very nice. And the view! The mountain view in the photos is not exaggerated. It's that nice! Sipping coffee on the patio in the morning watching wood ducks swoop in across the mountain and into the river inlet was a sight to behold in the morning. It's also close to town, but you feel very removed from any hustle and bustle. Without writing a book here, suffice it to say, we'll be back!

The little house on the lake was the perfect place! Having recently been remodeled, really reconstructed - a binder with a picture story sits on an end table - the lake cottage is an ideal place to stay. Great views, lovely amenities, and only a few minutes from town makes this the perfect stay for a couple. We hope to be back.

This was our second time staying at this property. We love staying here and will definitely be staying again in the future. Nice little getaway that is not too far from home.

Lakeside home beautifully renovated from top to bottom. Bathroom is spacious and the well designed kitchen has all the comforts of home. So much to see: Hot Springs, Lake Catherine, Garvan Woodland Gardens and Ouachita National Forest to name just a few! Restaurants galore! The list of recommended restaurants that Mary Ann gave us were phenomenal! Communication with Mary Ann and the check in and check out process was so smooth. Great vacation experience!

We were contacted by the owner the day prior, via telephone, and she explained the check in process and spoke to us and gave suggestions on things to do, places to eat, etc. She then sent a text message with all the instructions and told us to reach out if we needed anything. She was helpful, quick to respond to messages and very informative. The cottage was clean, well kept and in a great location near the lake. My girls and my wife loved the views and the patio and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The wife and I will be coming back again for an adult weekend.

It was comfortable, convenient, and super clean. Also, it had amenities not always available in cabins/cottages, such as kleenex, body soap, enough paper towels, etc. It was a pleasure staying there.

Your cottage was an ideal choice for our stay in the Hot Springs area. The house was very clean and well equipped. Views of the lake were very nice. Location was very good with quick access to town but still away from all the congestion. The only trade off would be road noise from the nearby highway. It was only noticeable when sitting on the porch. Inside was very quiet and comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay at this immaculately clean cottage. The deck gave a beautiful view of the lake and was very comfortable. We fished from the dock and sat with our feet in the water. The close proximity to downtown allowed us to enjoy the bathhouse, shopping and great restaurants! We will definitely be back!

This cottage is very nice, has everything you need, is on the lake and has views of the mountains. We enjoyed the large deck in the evening after spending the day on the lake and early morning having coffee!

We decided to take a short anniversary trip to go to Hot Springs. We had never been before but now we want to go back! This house was perfect, nestled in the trees and on the lake, but still very close to everything. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking at the beautiful view. Very relaxing and we hope to get back there soon!
