Loved our stay at The Breakers!!! The owner was so responsive to our questions. Will be back

We have been to HHI many times, first time at Breakers and this time of year. Weather was perfect. Location of condo was great, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Big bamboo and pool bar Jim's are a must! Access to beach was easy and pool area very nice. This is a smaller condo complex and a lot of regulars that were all very nice and friendly. View of ocean from balcony was great. Few things to note about condo just informational for other renters. Bedroom was at entrance side which puts window right by stairwell. So some nights depending on other guests, can hear talking etc. It only bothered us 1 night with late night disturbance. Bed was super comfy, room on smaller side for moving around. Bathroom sink area small but workable and plenty of towels available. Washer and dryer was nice to have. Kitchen had water damage to ceiling with areas bubbled up and holes covered with plastic and stapled in place. Also noted areas of paint bubbles and peeling up in other areas. Not sure if that was new or old. Only Keurig coffee maker(states both kinds) but we brought kcups so it worked perfect for us. We didn't cook dinners there but had the basics in kitchen. It lists that chairs and umbrella available but there were no chairs and only large hand held umbrellas. We brought our own stuff so it didn't effect us but just so other renters know. Keypad entry was very convenient. Overall we had a great stay. Location and views were great. Unit just needs some TLC.

The condo is exactly as advertised. Perfect size for a couple. Location is ideal, ocean views are great! Clean, well equipped, and quiet. Eddie was very responsive, and we will definitely stay here again!

Was a nice condo. Good location. Manager didnt respond to my many texts about issues. He got back with my boyfriend right away when he would text but ignored mine! I was the one paying for the condo! (So rude! )We were told we would get refunded some for issues only if we booked again!? Maybe maybe not

Condo was good for the two of us. We really enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. Location was close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Overall great stay!

We had a great stay. The unit was very cute and clean. Loved sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. The best location ever. We just parked our car and walked everywhere. Can’t wait to visit again. Would definitely stay in that unit again. Thanks for a great stay!

First of all, the location is a 100/10. So close to the beach and close to coligny where there is so much to do. Don’t even need a car! Even a grocery store in walking distance. The condo itself was great, there was nothing to complain about. All of the appliances were functional and modern enough. It was very clean and the flooring was easy to sweep if sand gets in from a beach day. The size is good for a couple and 1 or 2 small children at most. The wifi was functional. The TV’s were slightly older which have cable hooked up. Probably just need to upgrade to smart RokuTV’s or something similar soon.
We would 100% stay here again if just my wife and I come, but we would probably get something bigger so our son can have his own room.

Perfect Condo for a family Vacation!
The condo was clean and just as advertised. Amazing location! Right across the street from all the shopping and restaurants and just steps from the pool and beach. The owner is extremely friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Little HHI oceanfront condo
We loved our Breakers 138 condo. The view from our Condo was beautiful. We had the ocean, palm trees and the view of Pool Bar Jim’s. We greatly enjoyed walking across the parking lot to get to Coligny plaza. We enjoyed the coffee, shopping, restaurants and most of all the Carolina Tasting Kitchen. Our condo was very clean. The kitchen is very small but functional for a couple. We enjoyed the keypad access which was very easy to lock our condo. The only confusing thing we noticed was the listing said bed with queen sheets. We assumed a queen mattress but it felt like a full-size bed it was pretty tight for me and my wife.

The property itself was fine. It’s older but that’s to be expected seeing the other reviews. The condo itself was clean except the floors and rugs. We had to wear our shoes or socks so our feet weren’t black. You could feel the dirt/grit on the floor. The condo had everything we expected and the air conditioner worked great which was wonderful! Nice view of the beach and the pool was nice. Coligny park was right across the street, so everything was close by. Keep in mind you’re on the bottom balcony. You could hear everything above you when sitting outside.

My husband and I have been to HHI many times and this was our first trip with our seven month old daughter. We love the Breakers and Eddie’s condo did not disappoint. Beachfront location, nicely appointed, and easy parking very close to the unit. The Breakers is our favorite because it’s so close to Coligny, the beach, shops/restaurants and bike paths. We spent many days relaxing by the beautiful pool. The beach is footsteps away. Eddie was in touch to make sure our stay would be enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Great Stay at 138 Breakers
My husband and I have been to HHI many times and this was our first trip with our seven month old daughter. We love the Breakers and Eddie’s condo did not disappoint. Beachfront location, nicely appointed, and easy parking very close to the unit. The Breakers is our favorite because it’s so close to Coligny, the beach, shops/restaurants and bike paths. We spent many days relaxing by the beautiful pool. The beach is footsteps away. Eddie was in touch to make sure our stay would be enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

We had a wonderful stay at Breakers 138! The view of the ocean can’t be beat! We enjoyed many hours sitting on the balcony enjoying sunrises, dolphin watching and catching the warm afternoon sun. The bed is incredibly comfortable and it was great to have a washer and dryer in our unit. Eddie was so easy to work with and checked in with us as soon as we got there to make sure everything was good! We really appreciated his attentiveness to make sure our stay was perfect. It was hard to leave Hilton Head! We’ll be back! Thank you Eddie, for allowing us to be your guests!

If you are wanting a larger beach umbrella bring one. We purchased one at Walmart we forgot ours. If you are wanting to see dolphins wait for sunset they came through daily just sit on the beach and watch. They came in very close to shore.

Close to everything (walk everywhere), amazing sunrise views, comfy bed, great shower, covered parking opportunities if you were sly at grabbing one, all you need in the kitchen, ice maker, relaxing porch, and a new washer and dryer combo that I dare to say did better than my full size at home! The AC did struggle, but goodness it was hot! I think that was the issue. We did bring our own blackout curtain for the bedroom, so if you are used to a dark area for sleep, I recommend it. It is a small place, but well worth it if you are looking to save on your vacation. The place was small so I would expect it to be cleaner. The area rugs were filled with sand. No vacuum in the place. No dishwasher and the last tenants did not wash the dishes well. Deck floor is made of plywood. The door to the deck locks when you close it. We locked ourselves on the deck twice. Owner came quickly to unlock us the first time. The second time we had to yell for a neighbor to help us. After the second time we used a bottle of sunscreen wedged at the bottom of the door to prevent from closing the door when we were using the deck. Bathroom is dated and the ceiling has some area of grossness. The view was great. We loved being so close to the beach. Bed was comfy. We adapted to the lack of space. The price was great.

We enjoyed the convenience of the location of the condo & overall we really enjoyed our stay. My only real complaint is that the sea grass material blinds that are now in the bedroom (different than what’s in the listing pictures) are see through at night when the lights are on in the bedroom, so you can’t really change clothes in there without anyone going up the stairwell seeing you. The bathroom needs work, there’s visible water damage on the ceiling & also the balcony deck needs a little TLC- there were lose nails that thankfully my husband found before anyone stepped on them.
