Schöne Wohnung in Altstadtnähe - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Die Wohnung war unsere allererste Buchung bei FeWo-direkt und ein echter Glücksgriff. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet - man möchte glatt einziehen oder ein gehobenes Abendessen genießen. Dabei ist die Wohnung sehr geräumig und die Gastgeber stellten sogar ein Bett um, um die Wohnung individuell vorzubereiten. Buchung und Anreise waren sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Mit Nachrichten und Telefon war alles leicht abgesprochen und traf dann auch genau zu. Bei der Ankunft fanden wir in der Wohnung auch wichtige praktische Informationen über Restaurants, Supermärkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Wohnung liegt nah genug am historischen Zentrum, dass man es bei einem gemütlichen Abendspaziergang erreicht. Eine super Basis für einen Urlaub in Regensburg und Umgebung!

Our family had an excellent 3 night stay at this lovely spacious apartment in Regensburg. Well equipped, tastefully furnished and a bus stop right outside. Only slight downside were the creaky floors and doors but would highly recommend.

Gute Lage, schöne Wohnung

Eine sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung im Zentrum Regensburg. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Verwalterin war sehr freundlich und schnell erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren für drei Nächte mit zwei kleinen Kindern in der Wohnung und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die große und helle Altbauwohnung bietet alles, was wir brauchten - sogar Kinderstühle, Babybett und Wickeltisch. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr unkompliziert und angenehm. In der Umgebung gibt es in eine gute Infrastruktur (vor allem das grandiose Opera-Café) und durch den Park kommt man auch sehr nett zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Wir haben uns wohl und willkommen gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

The apartment was a very suitable base for us to explore the region, and comfortably accommodated our family of 5. It was well equipped with some very nice personal touches. It was also a great advantage to have on-site parking. We would highly recommend!

There is a lot to love about this apartment. With two bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and large living room, this apartment is very spacious and offers more than enough room for a large party. The washing machine, dishwasher coffee machine and high speed internet are all amenities that are highly appreciated, as are the free parking and free phone calls to landlines in many countries. The location is great with only a short 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to downtown. Walking or running trails along the Danube are also not too far. Communication with Elisabeth was easy and helpful and the description and photos on the website are accurate. We truly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back when we return to Regensburg.

We preferred to mostly walk about town, but it was certainly helpful to have the bus stop (Line 1) right outside the apartment as well. The pictures represent the apartment and the entire place was spotless. We stayed in winter and were plenty warm enough. The location is a quiet residential area with a convenient local mini-supermarket and very nice Italian restaurant around the corner. The walk to the old town area of Regensburg takes about 10-15 minutes and is safe and well-lit. We never bothered to get the bus as the walk was easy. Be aware that if, like us, you have a lot of luggage, that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and its walk up. The good aspect of that is that you get to work off the afternoon coffee and cakes that you will almost certainly want to enjoy! I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable base from which to visit Regensburg and the surrounding area. We had a car and also appreciated the on-site parking and the proximity to the autobahn. Fantastic flat. So much space and light, stylishly decorated and very well equipped, one of the best we've rented. Manager Christina was lovely - she gave is a great welcome and was very knowledgable about Regensburg, a fascinating city which could easily fill a week of exploration, not to mention trips on the Danube to Valhalla, Kelheim and the gorge at Weltenburg. The flat is only about 20 minutes' walk out of town (via the Stadtpark), or frequent buses (no. 10) to the Hauptbahnhof. Recommend a 'Bayern ticket' for travelling around by bus/train - amazing value. Although on a main road, traffic was quiet at night, and the back bedroom totally silent. Thanks you again, Elizabeth and Christina, we definitely hope to be back Mark and Paul, Bristol UK

We have been traveling for the last 7 months and have stayed in various vacation apartments around the world, and this is our favorite. The apartment is big with high ceilings. All the furnishings are very nice and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items you would need. We came with our two boys and they loved all the toys in the toy chest. The beds are super comfortable, too. The apartment building is really nice and calm. There is a bus stop right in front of the building that will take you to the historic city center in a couple of minutes. There are restaurants in walking distance and grocery stores. This place was perfect. We wish we booked it for more days! The listing description is accurate. The apartment was super clean when we checked in. Super customer service. Internet was reliable. It was a decent 5 Mbps download/ .5-1 Mbps upload speed.This place was great. I hope we can return again soon.

From the moment we arrived after a very long flight from Australia we were totally grateful for staying in this apartment. Met by the owners friend, she immediately helped us with what we needed even getting us some milk for our young son. The apartment is very clean, very large for a two bedroom and overall a very comfortable atmosphere. Due to us staying here for 3 months it became our very own home. It's situated very close to the old stadt which is the heart of Regensburg. 15 minutes walk or a 5 minute bus ride and you can experience everything that Regensburg has to offer. We would definitely recommend this apartment it anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Regensburg and I'm sure Elisabeth and her friend Christina would be more than happy to help. It was a sad day closing the door for the last time after 3 months of staying in this apartment. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of staying in this charming apartment in early December. It is just as the owner describes – spacious, sunny, lovingly maintained and well equipped. I especially appreciated the clean, modern bathroom and, with four of us, the extra WC! I was a bit worried that the old world charm of the apartment (high ceilings and large windows) would mean a cold and drafty space, but I needn’t have been concerned. In spite of the cold temperature outside (it was December!), the apartment stayed warm and cozy inside. I can’t wait to visit in the summer too! Regensburg really is a beautiful city and this is a perfect base from which to explore. An easy walk down Prüfeninger Strasse and we were in the Old Town. St. Jakob church, with its very impressive main entrance, was our first stop. Winding our way through the narrow, medieval streets was so much fun! We visited the usual sites, shopped in modern stores and crossed the Danube over the old stone bridge – eating delicious sausage along the way. But the best experience of our stay was browsing the Christmas Markets in the city, especially after dark in the enchanting courtyard of Thurn and Taxis Palace while enjoying a warm mug of glühwein! It was magical. Our stay in Regensburg was wonderful and I would highly recommend this apartment. Enjoy!
