We enjoyed our Christmas vacation in Scott’s log cabin. He’s very prompt and his cabin is clean and well maintained. I’d certainly recommend for small family gatherings and ski trips.

Scott was super accommodating as a host with my change in plans. You can never go wrong with a trip to Vermont and this particular location gives you the best of both worlds as it is between Stratton and Mt. Snow. I will be back!

Amazing cabin! Huge back porch area with a lovely view of the fall trees, and a nice big living room and dining room area with a table big enough for 8 people. The double fireplace between the dining room/living room was a very nice feature as well. The rooms are a little cozy, but the beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Everything was very clean. Scott was a great host and had great tips for the area and left a bottle of wine for when we checked in. We tried many of his suggestions and they were all great! I definitely recommend this stay and would stay here again.

A group of 5 friends enjoyed the cabin for our annual trip to get together. This was our 38th year is doing this and we have spent these weekends in every New England state. This cabin worked great for us with the right amount of space, privacy, and features. We enjoyed the fire pit and the deck very much. We did take a quick trip to Pikes Falls and that was a great spot for a swim. Scott was very easy to deal with and was extremely prompt in communication. 100% recommend this spot for a cozy amd private get away.

Clean beautiful cabin, plenty of space, room for all sorts of activities

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again. This log cabin cottage is located in a rustic subdivision of sorts with each house located on several acres of densely wooded property. We had complete privacy and could only hear the birds and wind in the trees. We visited in August and were close to many hiking trails, including local trails and the Appalachian Trail.

we had a wonderful memory in this cabin with family. everything was perfect, house was clean, host communication was great. will come back for sure!

We stayed at Scott's log cabin in Wardsboro, VT with our friends for memorial day weekend. The cabin was super clean, charming and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots pans and coffee maker also pantry had some items we could use. Rooms had linens and extra comforters. The fireplace was nice and good to have grill on the deck. Also kids enjoyed board games. Owner Scott was very responsive and gave us plenty of suggestions for local activities and resources. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Perfect for 5 people 10 minute drive to mount snow

Very enjoyable stay at the cabin while equipped with all modern luxuries, is secluded and located in a quiet area off the main roads. Perfect for a winter escape staying in or checking out the local ski facilities. Scott as the owner really had great communication from the point of booking to help make the most of the time there. Would recommend highly!

The property was exactly what I needed. Quiet, not to far from town, plenty of firewood, completely stocked. Scott was very gracious and helpful (especially when I locked myself out on an early Sunday morning, whoops). Highly recommend. Will hopefully be staying there again.

My sons and I had a fantastic time in the nicest ‘cabin’ ever. A beautiful home with rustic charms and fully luxed out, including a sauna. We all wished we had more time to stay longer. Maybe next year.

Cabin size was great for the group of 3 couples. Nice seating by the fire, in the kitchen or in the living room. Kitchen is fully prepared for the small party cooking and super nice dining area as well as board games made our stay very pleasant.

Wonderful Vermont log cabin in private wooded setting. The owner was extremely detailed with instructions and offered many tips on what to do and where to dine. A bottle of wine And two glasses Welcomed us as we entered the cabin after our long drive to Vermont. The owner thought of everything and the cabin was well equipped. It was extremely clean; had a brand new stove, and very comfortable beds and bedding. There was more than plenty of wood provided for roasting Marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit in a wooded private setting on the property. The indoor fireplace was the focal point in the center as we gathered around the large dining table for meals and the living room for some fun board games. Great log cabin for any time Of year!

Went to just sleep and relax and it was prefect for that purpose.

We had a wonderful time at Scott’s cabin. The sauna felt good after a long hike. Scott the owner was very helpful and took care of all our needs. Will definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed this quiet and spacious cabin! Scott was a great host who made sure to reach out before our trip with plenty of information about the listing and with recommendations for local attractions. He was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had once we arrived at the cabin. The location is close to Mt. Snow, Stratton Mt., Townsend, and Jamaica, all of which provide opportunities for great outdoor activities. There were definitely a few areas that could have been improved in terms of having the cabin ready for our arrival (the club card for the community center was not put out and neither were the fire-starting candles for the fireplace/fire pit, the lighters at the cabin did not work so we had to purchase our own from the general store, and there were pieces of broken glass in the ice cube trays in the freezer), but overall these issues did not impact our experience too much - I would just recommend a more thorough cleaning/preparation between guests. We had lots of fun playing board games on the deck and making s'mores at the fire pit. There was also a tornado watch on our second day and we lost power 4 times, but the cabin has a generator that worked well, so we were never without power for more than a few seconds. Overall we felt that this was a really nice property with plenty of charm. We would certainly rent from Scott again!

Perfect setting to destress and relax. Charming, comfortable and romantic. Everything you need to get away from it all. Scott was helpful, providing tons of info about the area. Easy to get to. Will definitely be returning first chance we get!

Granddaughter loved her forest lawn. We loved using the grill, firepit, and internet. Enjoyed the cooler nights and sleeping with the windows open. Did not stay long enough to see a moose. Enjoyed the chipmunk and owls.
