I was very impressed with the rental and enjoyed my stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find you provided beach chairs, etc for everyone’s use, and the laundry arrangement was very helpful

Great hostess, place and location

Great location, AC was great. Its just that it is a tight space to live in for 10 days. Counter space and places to put things on are limited. This is a minor remark and does not take away from the fact that we had a enjoyable stay.

It’s A nice place but the location/ area had a lot of festive/party people. Our direct neighbors were great but the neighborhood was too crazy for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nostalgic 1940s beach Appartement. Very clean. We walked everywhere. Beach, bar, breakfast. But the best thing was that we had a garage. Where parking is a premium that was a real luxury.

Weekend trip

We enjoyed our stay here. Close to the beach and very clean. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was positive overall.

Property was exactly as advertised. Super cute and clean. Nice towels and comfortable bedding. Walk to beach was 2 minutes and Katrina had great beach gear for guests. Hope to go back soon.

I stayed at this property with my family (2 kids, one husband and a dog). The place is BY FAR the best decorated house we've ever stayed in, and we come to San Diego every year. It was immaculately clean, check-in was smooth and easy, the location was great and it contained everything we needed. My only "complaint" is that though the rental says "pet friendly", the property manager's communications about our dog gave us the impression they really DON'T want dogs there. I understand the conditions of having a pet inside, not on the furniture, clean off sand, etc... but I almost cancelled because of the communications and general assumptions made about the dog. Either list the property "pet friendly" in ernest, or don't. Other than that everything went swimmingly.

Everything was perfect. Great location for easy walk to beach and stores/restaurants. Clean, quiet and comfortable property.

Had a great stay. Only important missing info in the property description was that Ocean Beach is in the flight path of San Diego Intl Airport. No problems sleeping at night due to the planes since the planes were limited OR took another flight path. Always grateful for fun places to stay with your pet. People were very friendly.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was super clean, the bedding was fresh and smelled delightful. The bed was comfy. The kitchen has everything you need. Parking is limited and the spaces are tight. You do have access to the garage behind the property. It's in an alley and it's very tight fit into the garage. A small car is best. The location was perfect. It's close to everything. The dog beach (a block away) was filled with fur babies, so if your not fond of dogs this beach isn't for you. The waves were rough so we didn't get in. We went to Pacfic Beach (nearby) and walked the boardwalk. Lots to see and eat.

Do NOT book this home if there are more than two because there are additional non advertised charges to do so, there are far better beach locations (MIssion Beach, Pacific Beach, etc.) for the same price in San Diego and the pull out sofa is ridiculously uncomfortable. The decor is very quaint but for a staycationer in SD, like me, and a VRBO owner, like me, I found the price and misrepresentation of the guest rates greedy with the owner unwilling to compromise on her position. Three weekends before my husband and I rented a much larger 2 bedroom 1/2 block to the beach in Mission beach for the same price so search around, especially if there are three guests.

This house was so cute, clean and close to the beach! Katrina communicated very clear directions on how to check in/check out. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice place. Everything you need and close to everything

This cottage was perfect! My daughter and I decided to get away for a long holiday weekend and couldn't have found a better place. It was spotless and evident that the cleaning crew does an excellent job. We took advantage of the local restaurants for every meal, but the kitchen had everything we would have needed if we had chosen to cook at home. The bed was very comfortable and the shower head felt great. The beach (and large dog beach) is literally a block and a few steps away. There is a nice big grassy area at the beach that came in very handy for our dog. We felt very safe the entire time of our stay. The shared porch was nice and gave us an opportunity to meet the guests staying at the adjoining unit. Communication with the owner was fabulous. From the time I asked a question prior to booking to a question I had during check-in, she responded immediately! Due to my mistake I had to call her while we were checking in and she answered right away even though I was interrupting her Thanksgiving...not a lot of people would do that! If you find yourself wanting to visit Ocean Beach, I highly recommend this property!

Sweet beach cottage. LOTS of directions to everything in this adorable VRBO. Very comfortable bed and linens. Kitchen fully equipped (no dishwasher) Yes, the garage is tight but we made our MAZDA CX-5 work. We were very happy to have the garage (with all the beach goodies) since parking on the street was very difficult. Book this cottage, you won’t be sorry! Thanks Katrina

Easy to check in, very clean!

We are traveling with two senior dogs. The most important aspect, besides cleanliness, is ease of entry to the property. We are no longer able to take them up and down stairs so this property was perfect for us. The air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom is exactly what I need, personally. Everything was spacious enough for a couple with two dogs. We will definitely rent here again.

The location was great. We needed nothing . We were totally prepared, but everything was provided.
