This is a fun cozy log cabin very near the city center of Prescott. Great for two people. Tucked away and feels like it is is the woods. Great and Friendly hosts. Everything was there. Attention to detail in every way to make your visit interesting.

I wanted a get away to a cozy log cabin and found this place. The owners have managed to think of all the little things from all the kitchen utensils to lots of information on things to do locally.
The cabin was spotlessly clean, loved the gas fire, and wanted to stay longer!

Dave & Karen went out of their way to make this such a wonderful stay..we enjoyed a well stocked pantry, received a lovely gift of champagne to celebrate the NYs and even toys for our two pups. This hideaway was secluded and the surroundings beautiful. They had plenty of things to read, music to listen to and movies, games, everything that is the comfort of home all wrapped up in a cozy comfortable cabin full of nostalgia decor. We absolutely loved staying there and highly recommend a stay there, Dave & Karen go above and beyond to make the stay magical & memorable!

This was the cutest little place ever! Absolutely perfect! And if the house wasn’t perfect enough the hosts, Karen and Dave are absolutely wonderful! We had our pups with us and Karen and Dave so thoughtfully got them a little toy EACH! George and Ringo were over the moon! Love it and will for sure be back!

We had hoped to go kayaking at Watson Lake while in Prescott but it was unfortunately too cold. Not to worry! There was so much to do in town that we were not disappointed. We went to the farmers market just a few blocks away, then spent the day watching the Christmas parade and courthouse lighting program. Then capped off the evening at the Sharlot Hall Museum Frontier Christmas. Heading back to this cozy, warm cabin at the end of the day was perfect. We plan to go back when its a bit warmer and try kayaking and hiking and other nature activities.

This is a true, tiny, quaint log cabin that (from the inside) brings you back decades. A bit over-decorated with pictures and posters galore, but city water is nice rather than well water. Owners were very kind and allowed me to maintain my privacy for the week... that was appreciated!
On the down side... this is not a cabin in the woods, or isolated in any respect. Nestled into the middle of a rather busy neighborhood, the traffic noise is a constant irritant. Walmart near by, Fry's grocery down the street, and a busy stop and go intersection just off the property takes away from the rustic feel you may want.
Overall a nice stay.
But I would find a more remote cabin in the future.

Dave and Karen met us when we arrived to show us around. They have a great binder that has everything from the history of the log cabin to favorite restaurants in the area. So many little things that added to the charm and convenience for our stay... like a flashlight, binoculars, extra blankets & pillows. Plenty of clothes hangers, drawers, very comfy bed, great stove for heat, full kitchen with everything we needed, lovely grounds. You can tell much love goes into the care and decorating. Over the top homey feel. One tiny thing happened and Dave was there within minutes to fix. Best Brbo we've ever stayed. It was perfect in every aspect. Kudos to them both!

It's not often that someone can say that they vacationed in a 100 hear old cabin! Unique and comfortable. Decorated with cabin charm. Very nice hosts and they had great suggestions for activites and dining. We had a wonderful stay.

Dave and Karen went above and beyond making our stay awesome.
From the gifts for our cat and ourselves, including fresh cut flowers, to providing area information on attractions and restaurants. The Log Cabin is completely equipped and the western decor made this wannabe cowboy feel right at home.

This was one of the best stays away from home. I enjoyed every second of this wonderful, cozy cabin and all it has to offer; From the comfiness, to the magical garden settings, close enough to downtown, but still away from the hustle & bustle, I felt the stress melt away! We enjoyed BBQing, Fishing, Biking, Hiking and most of all Kayaking! Had amazing massages at the Thai House on Grove St. and had a blast at the Rodeo, Whiskey Row with live music and some good eats! The owners Dave & Karen were lovely!

Everything was just as advertised and the accessibility to the owners was just a phone call away. Wi-Fi was fast and the TV had all the channels we were used to. Can’t say enough good things about our stay.

This log cabin was built in the 1930's and has been modernized. It is a cozy place and has an idyllic setting with lovely views of normal vegetation, bird house included. It is quite an experience to stay in a log cabin in the twenty first century.

I was on a work trip but what a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Can’t even tell you are in the city. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while having morning coffee.

The cabin had everything you’d need. The hosts, Dave and Karen, were knowledgeable about Prescott and responsive with any questions you may have. READ the directions they give for how to get there. Google Maps will have go to a parking lot across from the property. You do share the outdoor space with other 3 houses/cottages. We met everyone throughout our stay and became friends with the other guests. Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever loved the clean flowing creek along the property. Thank you Dave and Karen for your hospitality!

Cabin was adorable with all the amenities and then some. Hosts left great recommendations for local restaurants, and plenty to read and watch when rain kept us indoors. I’m hoping to go back when the weather lets us enjoy the creek and the horseshoes and cornhole games!

Property owners Karen and Bob truly pour their hearts in what they do - they welcomed us at the cabin on our first day, showed us around and gave us great tips about the city. What a gorgeous, lovely home. Clean, & homey. The cabin was stocked with an abundance of “good” reading material, along with games. We enjoyed both. Nice bbq for grilling, plenty of fridge space, everything we needed for home cooked meals. The owners told us about the Saturday farmers market around the corner, in the neighborhood. Wow!! Amazing! We highly recommend this cabin.

We stayed in this cozy cabin for a week and hated to leave! One of four individual rental units at Prescott Hideaway- all very private with an amazing, natural common area loaded with native plants and wildlife! Every detail so thoughtfully cared for by attentive hosts. So many surprises to entertain us-we only turned the TV on once. Great WiFi, beautiful western decor and tons of great books about the area. We’ve stayed in private rentals all over the world and have never walked into such a clean comfortable space. What a gem!

It was the perfect “cozy cabin” experience. The hosts were great…there was even a dog toy as a gift upon my arrival. The location is perfect. It is very quiet, yet close to everything including downtown Prescott and many hiking trails. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The hosts greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. They had all sorts of information available about the area. We had a great stay. The place is in town but isolated just enough to be quiet.
