We enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful cabin and the sights are breathtaking. Small detail, Bedrooms upstairs small and hard to control heat to feel comfortable. Bedding clean and mattresses comfortable. Beautiful lake, and the owner thought about every detail to make your stay pleasant. Great communication with owner. We are definitely coming back. Perfect get-away for our family with beautiful surroundings! This was the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed. Fluffy towels, comfy beds, and we made good use of the Sun Room. We used the kayaks every day, and enjoyed the fire pit and hammock. The host was extremely responsive, too. The week went by way too fast. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The cottage had lots of space for all our different group members. Wifi and cable TV worked fine. It is close to a large grocery store in Interlochen. Plenty of parking space for 3 or 4 cars. We did not use the small bunk bed room except to set up a portable baby crib. Kayaks, baby swing, and long dock.... all great!

This house was the perfect place to gather with family and enjoy each other, the beautiful lake and explore the surrounding area. Plenty of space to enjoy being together and also have some alone time. Loved the big sun room, and watching the sunset from the pier or a kayak. Great hiking and mountain biking trails a few blocks from the property! The house wise well stocked and had everything we needed and then some! We loves it and would happily repeat this vacation!

We stayed over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. It turned out to be cold and snowy all weekend, but the property was warm and cozy. It was very clean and everything was well maintained. We felt very comfortable. The location works great for trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City.

My sisters and I spent 4 days here. It was perfect, clean, well-supplied, and plenty of space. The sun porch was our favorite spot for early morning coffee.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. There were many things provided and in a great location.

Lake Ann was a nice hidden area. We had everything we needed and more at our lodging spot. I will definitely go back. Lynne was a perfect host. My sister from Arizona, her husband and Aunt and Uncle had an amazing time. They said it was “God’s Country” where we stayed.

The entire home reflected the fun and family focus that the owners wished to express. We hope to return again some year.

This summer home was the perfect location for our multi-generational gatherings. Our family had cottages in the area, and we gathered for evening meals, bonfires and swimming - playing in the lake. The entire home reflected the fun and family focus that the owners wished to express. We hope to return again some year.

We enjoyed our stay. Lake and cabin were very nice. My husband,my two boys (5&7) and father in law enjoyed fishing right off the dock and in row boat. Mother in law is an early bird and enjoyed beautiful sun rises from the sun room.Property was great for boys to run around and enjoy. We would definitely stay again.

Can’t get any closer to the lake! This cottage is like staying at your grandmas house...in a good way. The kitchen is well worn with love. And the furniture has seen tons of family and friends. Major pluses were the bed linens and bath towels and comfortable beds.The towels were a plenty and the two main floor beds were comfortable. Plus there were tons of hooks and towel bars to hang 8 towels and suits. MINOR minuses was the outdated furniture. Our party of 8 would have liked two extra seats on the outdoor deck table for dinner. We took full advantage of using the fishing row boat and kayaks every day. Although some of the kayaks had broken seats. This community lake was a perfect lake to rent jet skis which pulled a tube, for a day. We opted to rent a pontoon boat on the larger lake, Lake Leeleneau. Lake Ann is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed a fire almost every night. And appreciated the plentiful firewood. Location is 30 minutes from all the popular tourist spots. So its perfect. Personally, we will return and stay on a larger lake. But we enjoyed our time immensely at the cottage on Lake Ann

What an amazing property! We felt at home as soon as we walked thru the front door, it never felt like we were renters. Lynne had everything you would need PLUS more! Everything was very clean, I remember climbing into the bed our first night and it smelled so clean and fresh. Our favorite room was the sun room which had the perfect view of the backyard and lake. We spent lots of time in that room enjoying coffee and our family. Lynne had every game imaginable for our family to enjoy. Both outside decks faced the lake and were perfect for eating/drinking and enjoying time outside with our family. My family and I have already discussed renting this again during the summer. Also, my son forgot his scale at the lake house, Lynne immediately reached out to me for my address to get it mailed to our house, she went Above and Beyond! This place is a true GEM!

in spite of cooler temperatures and a little rain, our family had a great time at the Lake Ann house. The sun room and the decks were fantastic. Wonderful views. The house fit our family well.The kitchen had just about everything you could think of. (Although we couldn't find the mixer to go with the beaters?) But it all worked out. We had an absolutely amazing time at Lynne’s Lake Ann cottage. Our family has been renting cottages for 15 years and I can definitely say this is the best one yet. The cottage is very comfortably decorated and was sparkling clean when we arrived – which definitely helped with any of our renting during Covid-19 fears. It is also very well stocked with everything you need for a vacation – read through the cottage description to get the details on what is provided as it is a lot. Should any questions arise, Lynne is very responsive & helpful. One of the key features of the home are the many, many locations where you can relax and enjoy the lake views and breezes. Or you can just spend time enjoying the lake. If you want to get out and explore beyond the cottage, it is perfectly located about 30 minutes from both Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. There are also many hiking trails within just a few miles that are great for exploring. Given the opportunity, we would definitely return for another great, relaxing vacation.

This is our third year going and we love it! The house is so comfortable and has everything you would need or want. There's a general store close by and Lake Ann Brewery is a great family spot with live music. Lynn is always available to answer any questions or concerns. We had a great time!

Nice kitchen and dining area. Plenty of bedroom spaces for a very large group (maybe ten or more). We had six adults, three couples, space seemed adequate to feel comfortable and maintain privacy when desired. The outdoor areas - decks, beach, dock, campfire space, were all large enough for a crowd and provided a variety of spaces for enjoying the outdoors. Really enjoyed the lake.

Our family of 6, spent the perfect week this summer in August 2017, at this lovely home on Lake Ann. The home was decorated with lovely cabin and lakeside decor, with very comfortable beds. It was especially convenient to have 2 of the bedrooms and bath on the main floor with the kitchen and living room. But my favorite room in the home was the summer room with large sliding glass windows that looked out on the lake through the glimmering treetops. The water was crystal clear, as we sat on the dock with our feet in the water watching the sunsets. Evenings were spent grilling steaks and chicken out on the large deck followed by roasting marshmallow smore's in the fire pit at the waters edge. We were lucky enough to see the mother loon swimming with her 2 chicks. Each day we went on an adventure to Sleeping Bear dunes, the wineries, or Fish town. All locations had great lunch spots and just a short drive from the home. One evening we went into the village of Lake Ann and had pizza at The Stone Oven and listened to the music out back at Lake Ann Brewing Co. Great family atmosphere with picnic tables and the kids running in the grass and eating ice cream cones, we indulged in a few different kinds of craft beer while listening to some great music. Another evening we drove 20 minutes to The Interlochen arts center to hear a concert. Beautiful campus. This vacation was one of the most relaxing we haven taken in Years, with family memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family.

Pictures of the house really do not do it justice. It is beautiful! My family and I enjoyed all of the wonderful amenities offered. Plenty of dishes and cook ware. The lake is very pretty and the area is quiet and relaxing. We had a great summer vacation and made many memories. Highly recommend this location and this rental!
