We love to travel with our dog and I always hesitate to book a place where we have to share a wall with someone in case she decides to bark while we're out. Finding a place that is small enough for just two people that is also a detached house is almost impossible. And to find one downtown and within walking distance of everything was like finding a unicorn. It was a perfect long weekend for us in Boone. Super clean and very comfortable! We'll definitely book again if we revisit Boone!

Walkable and enjoyable space

Our daughter is interested in attending App state for her Masters. The house was a perfect location and a short walk to the College and extremely cute downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the pull out couch was not tolerable to sleep on due the springs pushing in her back. We put the pull out bed back and she slept on the couch instead. FYI there is no dishwasher but that was not a big deal to us.

My favorite place to stay in my favorite town! Visited my son at App State and loved that I didn’t have to worry about King Street parking, I walked everywhere. The property is cozy and clean and perfectly stocked. Can wait to go back!

We booked this little one bedroom house for one night as we were traveling through Boone. It was perfect for 2 people. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. Although we did not use the kitchen, the kitchen would be great for a longer stay. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants but located toward the end of the busiest area so it still felt private. Only suggestions would be a coat hook in entry way to hang wet coats and additional towel hook in bathroom to hang wet towels. Great house, great host. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Boone area.

The one bedroom cabin was so cute! Very rustic with slate floors and countertops. 1 king bed with plenty of pillows. Bathroom clean! Went for an APP game. You can walk to the stadium! Great location on king st right by restaurants and bars! Parking was a bit difficult with our truck but they have another spot at the building next door that we utilized! Will return!

Perfect location for visiting our AppState student. House was clean and quiet. Paid the extra pet deposit to bring our beagle. Only 2 observations that could be improved upon is: 1) the sofa bed has seen better days. The mattress might work on the floor, but the frame itself appears to be broken causing a hump that you couldn't sleep on. 2) the grassy area out front had many left behind piles that I picked up when taking my pet out for his bathroom break. The master was extremely comfortable and I would recommend this property for 2 people. Denise is very professional and booking was convenient.

The house is a charming little spot close to everything Boone has to offer. Communication with the host was also great as they were quick to respond when needed.

Walk to campus and the shops on King Street. Owners are very responsive. Great trip.

Great stay.

The location was excellent. My family and I walked all over downtown Boone. The place it’s self was great. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place.

We loved our stay. The location is unbeatable and the house was even better than pictured. The ONLY (very minor) drawback was the parking. We brought our full sized pickup truck and it was a super tight space for our vehicle when there was anyone else parked in the shared driveway. There IS additional parking right next door that we had to use once. This wasn’t a huge problem, just something to be aware of before pulling up the driveway the first time. Everything else was PERFECT. Easy walk to anywhere downtown and to the App State campus. We loved this house/location so much we were already talking about staying here again next time we come to town.

What a wonderful stay for a weekend visit with my App State student! Easy walk to everything on King Street with no worries about parking. The house was spotless and cozy and was perfectly stocked. Can’t wait to visit again!

Used the property for a visit to App State and the location and set-up couldn't have been any better. Very clean and easy walk to campus/downtown and since it is set up as a guest house behind the main property, it is rather quiet as well as it avoids the road noise. Only criticism is that if you have more than 2 people, the pull out couch is super uncomfortable, (as most are) but having some type of extra cushion like an egg crate to lay down over the bed to protect against the bars would be nice. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in this cozy studio-size home located on a small off-street lot downtown while house hunting in November. Convenient King St location was the best feature and the location behind another house kept street noise down. We rested well. There is also a grocery store just 2-3 doors away, which we appreciated. Communication, access and host instructions were clear and readily available. After days out and about exploring the community, it was simple and easy to relax in the evenings. Dogs are allowed and ours travels with us. His toileting was convenient enough on the small lot. We drove to a large park elsewhere for his exercise needs. Our experience was just right and met all needs during our short stay. We liked the house and will definitely consider this home again whenever our travels bring us back to the area!
