Awesome place, with great views!

I booked this condo early summer it was just like the pictures show on the 9th floor beautiful view of the ocean close to a lot of shopping and site seeing would definitely recommend very clean too you will not be disappointed a week goes.fast when your having fun would recommend crab Island so much fun!

I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Beautiful condo, beautiful view, and Tommy was very quick to respond to any need or concerns we had during our visit. The 2 pools were very nice as well. We will definitely plan to return in the future!

Great location, nice clean room.

Condo overall is very nice. Decor is pleasant. The door from outside did not have a safety lock at top and was dirty. We put a chair under door knob. Beds are comfortable. There was minimal furniture on the terrace so sitting outside to enjoy the view not possible for multiple people. Pools are very nice and beac is fabulous. The Tiki Hut at the pool serves good food and drinks. Overall, very good.

The property was very well kept up. The only thing we didn’t like was that you couldn’t invite friends over. Since we were in town for Softball Nationals we had a lot of other friends staying in other locations. It would’ve been nice to have a few of them over.

Property is ideal for families with young kids. Check In was easy, Tommy’s condo was spotless clean and was much nicer than we expected. There was more than enough kitchen, bathroom and general supplies so we didn’t have to buy a ton at the store. Kitchen is well stocked to do just about any cooking you need. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced by the pool. Overall, we’d definitely plan to stay here again in this unit. Tommy was fast to respond with questions we had about the TV. Compared to other places we’ve stayed that we’re managed by an agency, being able yo contact the actual owner was something we’d never been able to do before. If you’re going to pelican beach resort, I’d highly recommend this unit for a couple with 2 kids.

What they do tell you, location and fairly close to all the great places to eat or do in Destin. What they don't tell you, Not enough carts for check in or out, you will wait on an elevator at all hours of the day sometimes multiple trips before room, difficult to get in and out of the property considering road access. Rooms are smaller than portrayed, washer and dryer are super tiny for families. It depends on who runs your booking on what amenities you will receive. Security is a joke, all outdoor activities are to close at 10 which is no biggie but when outside we had security come by every 2-4 minutes to remind us that we had to be gone by 10 and started this process at 9:30. Two swimming pools and two hot tubs, the hot tub area that is next to the family swimming pool is for adults only and the secluded hot tub in its own gated area allows kids which causing a problem with everyone interested. Property charges for beach chairs and the property to the left and right on the beach won't allow you to set up in either direction. So the property chairs are set up just feet from the water and span the total width of the property with rules being you can't set up in front of any rented chair so the only spot you have to set up in behind all of the property chairs and if you set up back there the life guards will ask you to move for safety reasons. If you are a family or group stay away if you are a liberal ass Karen then this might be the place for you.

This is a must! I will definitely be staying here again. The property was perfect. Clean and updated.

The pictures do not do Tommy’s condo justice. Sometimes you never know if it will live up to your expectations. Our condo was extremely clean and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and even had starter toiletries. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Our view was the best we have had so far from any listing. Sometimes they tell you great view and you get a slice from a little corner of your balcony. Not this condo! We loved sitting on it. Great morning sun. Beds were very comfortable and had nice bedding on them. It was close to one of the pools and the tiki hut. Tommy was very fast to respond with any questions. The condo has a nice location to shopping and your choice of target or walmart close for groceries. Would definitely recommend this unit. You can tell it is well taken care of and has great owners aswell. If we visit Destin again, this will be the place.

Although the weather was a little chilly, thr property and amenities were wonderful. Tommy was a great communicator!!

The property was as advertised. We truly enjoyed our stay at this location, but the town itself was a bit lacking particularly in the area of eateries. The extreme pricing of food and service, or lack of in some cases, indicates to me that there are better locations for us to spend our money. Nearly $40 for 2 people for a simple breakfast seems a bit over priced, particularly when the server couldn't get the order correct and was down right surly, as well. No thank you! Also, the traffic in Destin is nearly as bad for travel as some major metro-politian areas. I'd hate to be there in the peak season and travel crosstown. Perhaps a word with you local Chaimber of Commerce on these 2 issues is in order.

We had a great stay at this Condo. The condo is clean, well appointed with what you need for a week long stay. The beach view is awesome! The online pictures well represent the condo. The location is great in the heart of Destin with many restaurants, and entertainment options very close by. Definite thanks to host for arranging for us to check in early.

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was just as it looked in the photos. We would highly recommend it and definitely return.

Loved this condo- perfect location and Tommy was so wonderful to work with. The renters that stayed before us had the dryer break - so he tried to have it repaired while we stayed but it wasn’t able to be done in our time there. To make it up to us he left a very generous gift card for our meal at Dewey Destins. So thoughtful! The tiki bar and on site restaurant was so perfect as well! Definitely call the resorts beach service early to book beach chairs though. There are 4 rows of reserved chairs. So that would be the only negative.

Great renter with excellent response time. Definitely a touristy area, but great beach, great pools, and the condo was perfect.

We really enjoyed this property. The views are amazing and the owners checked in to make sure we were completely satisfied. The direct access to the beach was one of our favorite features. They also have 3 pools that are very nice and clean. Great place for all ages.

The condo and resort itself is outdated and in poor condition. The kitchen floor still had sand on it when we arrived, we had to purchase new light bulbs to see in the bathrooms, one kitchen cabinet is not even the right size and is too narrow, the towel rack in the guest bathroom fell instantly when my son used the towel, the filter on the HVAC unit was dirty and caused my husband who has allergies to get sick. The area is very congested and was not relaxing for us. The beach space is limited due to the amount of chair/umbrella rentals (which are sitting on top of each other), we drove to another beach that was much quieter and enjoyable. I could go on and on but you get the point. Definitely not worth the money.

Our condo was clean modern and bright. Location was awesome and the view of the water was great. The only thing it lacked was ice cube trays in the freezer . We survived lol!

Property was as described. Nicely kept up, great view. The beach was truly amazing. White powdery sand, and clear, warm water. Beautiful. Condos can be a bit loud, but that's condo living. One tip. The beach chair scam.....it is what it is so reserve yours early, that will get you closer to the water.

In my opinion, Tommy is very good at responding when I had a question and quickly fixed the shower when it didn’t drain. The overall condo itself was clean. My biggest complaint is the mattress in the master bedroom; It definitely needs to be replaced. In regards to the resort… I would never stay here again. The staff was rude & I have never been to a resort with so many rules on the beach. This made our trip less than pleasant. We will not be returning to this area next year.

The owner was great to work with. The Pelican property staff were not helpful and even rude. The room was clean and had a good location.

This is our second time staying at this condo. We loved it both times and can’t wait to go back. The condo itself is clean and has a beautiful view. We took our five year old and one year old. We were comfortable with the size and the cleanliness. The condo is close enough to the elevators to get down to the beach and pools. Both the pools are great for kids and I would recommend booking a beach set up in advance to get front row. All in all 5 stars and will be returning.

Very easy process.

My husband and I enjoyed an amazing four days at this property. The condo was clean and had everything we needed-most importantly an ocean view from the balcony. The resort is perfect - right on the beach with chair/umbrella rental service available, a TiKi bar, three pools, and a friendly staff. Tommy answered all of our questions within minutes. We hope to stay again soon!

Our family had a wonderful time in Destin. The condo was perfect. We enjoyed the pools and ocean beach. Having an onsite cafe was perfect for our teenagers. The property manager was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Great place for families.

If you want to experience life in a loud dorm, this is the place for you. Constant noise. Shower didn’t drain. Reported to owner on first day, but never fixed. Left three days early because such a miserable place.

We enjoyed our stay, loved the condo, and felt the view was well worth the trip. Thank you for a great week.

Beautiful view the beach is awesome!! Destin area is a great area to come to will definitely come back. The property owner was nice and very helpful.
