It was big enough to accomodate all of us comfortably. And near the lake. A few ideosyncracies, but we had a great time.

Fantastic getaway spot for groups. My biggest rental pet peeve is when hosts shove as many beds in as possible so they can advertise high occupancy, but then there's absolutely nowhere in the space for that many people to gather and spend time together/eat, etc. This place is not that! Lots of common space to sit and chat or make food together. Very well-stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Overall extremely reminiscent of a church basement/fellowship hall- that's not a positive or a negative, just an observation made independently by several of our group!
I will say that the property is a little rough around the edges with some exposed wires and missing baseboards, but we don't travel with children, so not a concern for us. One other piece of feedback- I recognize that it's important to make sure guests know their linens are cleaned before their stay, but after driving in from Seattle after a long week, putting sheets my own bed before I can get into it is very low on my list of things I'd like to do for vacation.
Mike was super responsive the very few times I needed to get in touch, and that's much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

The lodge accommodated our family of 8 adults, plenty of space well stocked in cooking items. Quiet neighborhood. Located not far from Rosland and Cle Elum. Will be considering our next family get together at this property.

renting this for our large family get together. Half the family stayed here and found it perfect for kids. The beach was perfect for all. Little ones and the ones who paddle boarded. Mike was very helped and responded quickly to questions.

We had four generations of family members come from all over the state of Washington to meet for a family gathering. This was a great place to come together. Pros: The kitchen was perfect to accommodate large groups during eating and the living room space allowed us all to hang out while some were watching TV and others playing games. The outdoor area was enjoyable and plenty of extra chairs for those that didn’t bring one. Cons: The beds are a little hard if you like a soft bed. Many of us had trouble sleeping. And the only other downfall is the number bathrooms. When all of us were hanging out downstairs the one bathroom got quite busy! Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would come back again. You just can’t beat the price compared to some of the other places. It is affordable!

Great place for a weekend getaway with family and friends. The house stayed decently cool even though it was 100 degrees outside. The house comes with a fully stocked kitchen to serve a large crowd.
The one downside was that ants were a problem in the house.

We booked this property for a ladies retreat for our church. There was 11 of us. We had plenty of room for everyone to relax and sleep comfortably. The location was great and access to the lake was easy. The beds are firm but comfortable. We did notice the showers needed to be cleaned better and the dishes weren't cleaned well (I am assume by previous guests). Overall every one of us was happy with our stay both inside the house and the location. It was easy to find and the communication with the host was great.

A perfect family getaway
This property has a huge yard and great amenities for kids!
Our families got to meet here for a weekend and it was close to the lake and town.
The kids enjoyed it and it had everything we needed!

Family Christmas
We had a great family Christmas together at this property. There was plenty of room for our 5 families. We found everything from other positive comments to be accurate. Two things we really appreciated that were nicer for our group than most similar places: We normally have to go through rental places to put breakable items out of reach of little hands just in case a little one decides a decoration is a toy but this place was free of those dangers. I also appreciated the cooking pots, pans, and utensils as it was easy to cook for our group with what was there.

2nd Annual Hogue Family Christmas
We had an absolute fabulous time!! Everyone loved it. Just wish the 3rd bathroom had gotten completed. Beautiful snow all the kids big and little said “It was a blast”!!!!

Our family has rented this property for years. Great kitchen area and large yard to gather in, play games and visit. I am sure we will be back!

Most likely will not return.
To begin with, I knew there was no WiFi but did not expect absolutely no connection, we had Verizon, US Cellular and T-Mobile and we had zero bars, couldn’t make a call if we wanted to call 911. The home is very weirdly structured, upstairs has its own kitchen, living space aside from the main ones downstairs, lights all over the house are very dim (several bulbs out around the house). I was hoping for more of a isolated home but there are several homes close by with not much privacy and A LOT of activity. Saturday night one of the neighbors had a party of some sort and the music was extremely loud till about 3am. When we went the lake we had some of the home owners from near by tell us we could not access that entrance even though we had a key fob, it seemed we were not welcome. We have stayed in the area before and never had such rude encounters. I spoke to Mike, the owner before our stay and he was very friendly but this home is not one I would return to.

Bang for the Buck
Ronald was great helping us with anything we needed. I should have read the description better and considered that we were a gang of old men staying at the hottest time in recorded history and there is no air conditioner and only two small fans in this huge house. Night cools down fine and we weren't there in the daytime so no real problem. What I'd really like to write a review on would be about the folks who stayed before us and their garbage. Not sure why a housekeeper wouldn't have tidied up the place before we arrived but again, no problem; we're old men accustomed to taking out the trash. I'd highly recommend this place for groups who just want to get away where there is absolutely no wifi without going into beautiful Rosyln and cell phone coverage for both verizon and att are very unlikely. The star watchers will LOVE this spot and really, we could tell a lot of people have had some of their best memories here, and now we do too. Thanks Ronald. All the best.

Great for Groups but HOT
We had a wonderful time renting this property for our large group. The location is very nice and easy to enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately, the weather our whole trip was above 90 degrees which was borderline miserable without AC. I read that there was a fan in each room which ended up being inaccurate otherwise we would have brought our own. They were older and didn’t blow too much air so we ended up getting very sweaty. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the owners were very kind! It was nice to not have any cell service to really enjoy the time with friends.

Great Weekend in the Snow with Grandkids
Lots of room for our party of 15, even has a table that seats 16! The kids loved spending time with their cousins, playing in the snow and with the huge box of Lincoln Logs!
We did not need AWD or chains on Salmon La Sac Rd but we were glad we had AWD for the road into the cabin (which had been plowed) and the parking area of the cabin. (Since the parking area did have ~ 6" of snow, the kids had a great time sledding off the pile of snow made by the snow plow onto the parking area!)
Also, do not let anyone play under the eves of the roofs if they still have snow on them. Even though the roof of the cabin was clear. we had the snow come off the roof of the detached garage while we were there.

Great house and great location
We stayed here for our annual family snowmobile trip. The location was perfect for us. We were able to ride from the house to the trails. The house has a huge kitchen with a dining room table large enough to seat the entire family. We enjoyed our stay and hope to rent again next year.

This was the best Christimas our family has ever had. Everyone who came was very impressed with the accomadations and would stay again in a heart beat!! Very family friendly and our hosts provided us with outstanding experience! Would highly reccomended this location as a great place to stay!
