I contacted the property owner within days of booking because the loft was very concerning to me. I have an autistic 3.5 year old who would have never been safe sleeping up there. She would not work with me on even a partial refund. My son fell down those steep stairs 4 times. locked himself in the upstairs bathroom and had a complete meltdown because he coul not open it. No wc upstairs. Bed is leaning against loft wall, kid can easily fall. We had to have the kids sleep downstairs for safety reasons, the lady who ai communicated with Becky, kept just repeating “per viber policy” without any regard for her renters safety especially a child. She also had a cleaning fee of $150 Wanted us to clean the whole condo. I will DEFINITELY communicate with a rental owner with questions. Things were off in the condo like the electricity, water, AC. Nothing was communicated with us. I work in sales, and how you treat your customers in this day and age goes a long way. I would have been fine for her to keep half my money for my rental had she been a “understanding human being who can empathize with a worried parent. I do wish them well, we would not stay here again. Also beach availability for public is about 100ft. Everything else is roped off for beachfront hotels.

It brought me so much happiness with the fresh open air, beautiful view, and comfy and cozy. It was excellent in every way from check-in to checkout. Becky was responsive to any request! An updated book on things to do in the area would make it even better!

Day two at the property after being at the beach all day the owner shows up unannounced. Owner showed up to state there was a complaint regarding noise and excessive sand, keep in mind you are at the beach. We were only in the condo to eat and sleep. If you have small kids on the second floor this is not the place to stay. A month after we have checked in I received an email stating the owner filed a claim regarding damage to her screen door. If you have damage to a screen door over a month ago wouldn’t you need to get that fixed before your next renters checked in? An insurance claim regarding damage to her screen door is 100% false. Renters beware pay the extra money to stay elsewhere! What a nightmare

This is a recently renovated, well equipped condo across the street from the beach. This unit is very comfortable and well maintained. One great thing, is they have great window shades to keep that early FL sun out in the mornings. Location close to shops, grocery and restaurants. Becky was a great host!

We loved everything about this place. It's a great location, very close to the beach. The kids loved having their own area upstairs. The balcony was really nice. We made breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen and it had all the essential pans/utensils. We would love to come back!

This property exceeded my expectations - it was clean, check in was very easy, the beds were amazing, and it was right across from the beach walkway.

Destin was a beautiful spot for our spring break. Crystal Beach was amazing with sugar white sand and crystal clear water. The condo had a nice view of the beach from the balcony. It was a short walk to the beach right across the street. The condo had everything we needed. It was clean and everything worked very well for our family of 4. I would definitely return.

Beautiful, clean, and well maintained condo. The heated pool and hot tub were in good shape and clean. Becky was a great host and kept in contact in case we had questions or needs. We will definitely be back the next trip to Destin.

This place was AMAZING! After a long 10 hour drive I was welcomed to a clean and well decorated condo. The condo has all the amenities of home, I wanted for nothing. The King Size bed was so comfortable, the sheets were nice. Pillows were better than most hotels. Since covid we decided to stay in and cook most of our meals. The cook ware set is actually better than the one I have at the house, I was very impressed. I could not have asked for a better place to relax and hang out at the beach. Everything is within walking distance, so you get your exercise in, while enjoying the the beauty of the surrounding neighborhood.. I will be back. You will not be disappointed.

Condo was clean, well stocked, minutes from the beach, just as described...it was perfect! Communication with Becky was great. We had the best time in Destin, will definitely be back!!

Booking this condo was super easy. The pictures actually didn’t do this unit the justice it deserves! It was beautiful and very well stocked. It smelled great when we arrived (Becky, what scent do you use??). It was very comfortable and felt so much like home. We just had to walk right across the street to access the beach. We loved sitting outside on the balcony in the morning or late evening and rock in the chairs and listen to the surf. Access to all activities and shopping was super convenient, everything we could want was just a quick drive or walk away. The pool was close, clean, and easy to access (even had a restroom!!). The owners were very responsive and welcoming! I will recommend this condo to friends and family and would definitely book it again for future vacations. Thanks for the fantastic vacation destination!!

This was a great location for not being in the center of town but still very close to all the good restaurants and the beach. It was a 3 min walk to the beach and a 4 min walk to the cutest little bistro that had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The condo was super comfortable and quiet, which was perfect because we needed the rest! Everything was super clean and well kept and we really enjoyed our time at the condo. My daughter has already said that we have to go back soon and stay in the exact same place because she loved it so much. :) One thing I wish I knew was that the bigger beach front condos take up space on the beach with their private beach areas and private chairs/umbrellas. This isn't something that is done on many Texas beaches so I wasn't expecting it. We found a good spot eventually, but just a heads up.

The condo itself was clean, nicely decorated and furnished. There was ocean view if you stood at the right angle and could see between the trees, other wise the entire view was the huge gated resort across the street. The dryer is very noisy. We were extremely unhappy with how little access there is to the beach. In order to be remotely close to the beach you have to walk a block to Crystal Beach, then once there, there is limited space to set up for the day because the beach front condos have everything blocked off on both sides with their umbrellas and chairs. The ‘public’ is not allowed on either side. Same thing with the Shirah street beach access only it’s a smaller area. And to make it worse there is about6-8 parking spots at crystal beach so you have to carry everything, chairs, coolers, canopy, beach bag etc. the water is beautiful but it’s EXTREMELY CROWDED. It was just too work. Traffic is a nightmare to go anywhere. Most places usually have waiting lists of an hour once you finally manage to get there. Not a relaxing beach vacation at all. We seriously considered leaving a couple days early because of the crowds and traffic. Destin was not for us. It was our first and last time there.

This condo is in a great location, right across from the beach, and just far enough away from the big crowds. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our week in Destin. We would definitely stay here again.

Condo is decorated beautifully. Great location from beach, just cross the small street. Porch has ocean view. Pleased with stay and would rent condo in future.

We have been staying at Carribean Dunes since 2003 and this was by far the best condo we have stayed in. When booking, if I had any questions, Becky was quick to respond and very friendly. We will be back!

This condo was exactly as pictured, maybe even better! It was very clean and well-stocked. And it was the perfect location for our family, just a short walk to the beach and not overly crowded. The communication from the owner was top-notch. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Destin.

What a beautifully appointed condo! On top of that, the location is superb, with easy access to the white sand beach across the street, a nearby cafe and restaurant, an onsite pool, and grocery stores, etc. just minutes away. Our children especially loved the loft bedroom. We have no reservation in recommending this as a great place to stay.
