We recently visited California for our family vacation and stayed for 4 fabulous nights. The host Patty was extremely receptive to our needs and communicative throughout our stay. The location couldn't be better and is in the heart of Burbank.The house has an old world Hollywood feel in terms of style and decor and even has a nostalgic wall in the stairwell of legendary movie and music "stars" for your viewing pleasure. A must stay!

We were so happy we opted for the Burbank VRBO vs hotel rooms. The beds were all comfortable, the bathrooms well appointed and the living areas perfect for our family situation. We traveled from NJ for the graduation of my niece and stayed with her divorced parents. Note, 3rd bedroom needs to share bathroom inside master suite or walk downstairs. The house offered two upstairs balconies, plenty of outdoor space and lots of reading nooks on first floor. Kitchen had everything we needed (and much more!) Location was an easy walk to downtown Burbank, a quick drive to Warner Brothers studio for a great tour and easy access to Pasadena. Last but not least, Patti was gracious, helpful and unnoticed after she welcomed us, although she lives in the bungalow on the property.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for your trip. It is a safe, quiet and very beautiful place from where you can make many trips in and around Los Angeles, for example day trips to San Diego or Joshua Tree National Park. The hosts are very nice, we would book the house again at any time.

The property owners were very welcoming. The home was clean and very inviting. The property owners also communicated with us to ensure our needs were met. We enjoyed staying here and plan on coming back.

We just stayed for a month at this terrific property so we could visit my daughter and her husband over the month and sightsee with them around LA. My husband and I thought we might be joined by friends and family so we booked this 3 bedroom house in a great area of Burbank. Walkable to downtown Burbank and convenient to everything we needed! Unfortunately, no one was able to join us and the space would have been perfect. Our host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside to the trip was the weather - cold every day! - but we left just as the typical January rains began!

I brought the family in for a trip to the Rose Bowl and had an awesome time! Patricia is the BEST! I would give her six stars if I could in the "Communication with Property Manager" category because I put her through the ringer with my constantly changing reservation and she made it simple and seamless. An awesome house with great amenities inside and out, and perfectly located for anything you want to do in the Pasadena or Burbank area; perfect for the Observatory, the Burbank studios, etc. We'd stay again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grinnel while our place nearby was getting renovated. The house is large with plenty of charm/character decorated all around. The rooms and yard is spacious with a chefs dream kitchen. The best part of the stay was how nice the owners were. They live in the back house on the property and are always responsive if you need anything. We hope to visit the house again in the summer!

We were looking for a place to stay while moving from San Diego for a promotion and wow is that stressful!! I had sent Patty a note about our family and from her first interaction she made us feel SO comfortable and welcome! We had the best stay, the house and backyard are great but having awesome hosts like Patty and Mark made this stay unforgettable! Small gestures like sharing cornbread that she baked or making each of our family members and pups feel like family is something I will be forever grateful for! We made lifelong friends here and had the best stay we could have ever asked for!

When relocating from Toronto to Los Angeles, we had to find a temporary home while house hunting. We had the pleasure of spending the first few months of living in Los Angeles at Patti and Mark’s property. We picked the home as it provided the space we needed to live and work, but most importantly a comfortable home for our dog. Even before arriving, we knew that our stay would be a good one. I had some questions about the reservation, and Patti immediately called and help to resolve it. Upon our arrival, they welcomed all us and shared information about the area. They offered to help us at any time as we got settled and made us feel extremely welcome. Our pup felt very much at home the first night we got there as well. Throughout our stay, if we had any questions/requests they were quick to respond. They were very respectful of our privacy. They always made our dog feel at ease. The home offered anything we could have needed — a place to relax, be outside, prepare great meals, and generally feel at home. The yard was a great place for our dog to run around and enjoy the sunshine. Staying at Mark and Patti’s property made the transition to a new country very easy and welcoming. We consider them some of the first friends we made in LA.

My family and I spent 4 months here. It was a wonderful property for us. Plenty of room, everything we need for cooking and of course the access to a pool for the kids. On a beautiful quiet street and close to everything you might need. The owners, Patricia and Mark, are amazing and welcoming! Anytime we needed anything they got back to us right away and we never felt as if we were being a bother. We can’t wait to come back just so we can catch up and visit with them some more! Highly recommend this property!

What can I say this place was great. Plenty of space for a family of 5. The Kitchen was supreme. We like to cook and the range and oven were next level. Hands down my favorite part. Also, the owners Mark and Patti were awesome. If anything came up l, it was addressed immediately! I would do it again!

I cant summarize our whole experience in a paragraph ...I was received like family, the house was immaculate and with even more that what everyone could expect making our arrival easy and enjoyable ...I was moving to LA and Patti helped me solve and guide me like a friend, always willing to make our stay even better that already was.... The kitchen is to die for, has everything you could desire, the master bathroom is out of this planet, I had soaking baths or the jacuzzi every night, it also has a sauna that I didnt use ...the patio is awesome and squirrels and birds come daily to eat and visit making everyone smile just enjoying nature, the pool and outside jacuzzi is beautiful but the weather was not hot enough for us to use it even when it has heating...I stayed for about 50 days and they went by like a blink of an eye, now im trying to make my own place as cozy, warm and beautiful as Patti´s and Mark place...I didnt use the BBQ, but once my chilean wine arrives we will share a bottle (or two) with our new friends....Thanks for the experience..see you soon...!

The location of the house is great, on the nicest street in Burbank and a short walk to downtown. The house is on the foothills of the Virdugo Mountains. A one mile ride up takes you to spectacular walking trails and some of the best views in Los Angeles. Even closer than the trails is the Debell Golf Course, which is fun, cheap and has a good restaurant and a driving range. The house is unbelievably well appointed, which reflects how much the owners, Patti and Mark, care. They live in a guest house in the fenced-in rear of the property and are warm and gracious and generous company, but respectful of your privacy if that is what is wanted. For us and our dogs, their presence was always welcome and appreciated and accommodating. The house has an extremely high end kitchen, including a professional chef's oven with grill, not including the outside grills. The master bedroom is large, has ample walk-in closet space, and one of the nicest bathrooms one could imagine, including a large steam shower. The other two bedrooms are generously sized. A comfortable living room includes a 60 inch television with Direct TV. There are several sitting areas, all of which accommodate working with a laptop. Its hard to express how comfortable we have been here during our two month stay. We will miss being here at the house and will miss Patti and Mark. We will surely be back.

My two boys and I stayed at this property for 9 months from September 2014 to May 2015. We had a wonderful stay! I did not realise how convenient this location is until I start exploring Greater LA. The house is a few minutes drive from grocery stores, restaurants, YMCA gym. The largest shopping mall (Galleria/Americana) is nearby. Universal Studio is only 10 minutes away. You can quickly get on I-5 and go anywhere. The owner's description is very accurate. It is on the best street of Burbank. Walking around the neighbourhood is very pleasant. If you are more energetic, join owner Mark biking to the top of the mountain. I bet you he will win. Patti and Mark are the warmest landlords I have met. Patti and her friend Carrie are like professional chefs. Mark is pro at grill. They gave us the best Thanksgiving experience. My boys spent lot of time in the backyard pool. They loved chatting with Patti and Mark and miss their visiting dogs Maxie and Bumblebee. After staying there for 9 months, we became a family. Mark and Patti took very good care of their property. Gloria who has cleaned this house for 18 years is a super cleaning lady. In short, if you are visiting LA area, you will not go wrong by staying at this place.

My family was nervous to spend a month away from the comforts of home, but we all felt "At HOME" immediately. This trip and our stay in Mark and Patty's home made us fall in love with Los Angeles. Up until this trip, we had stayed a few other places around LA and not felt at ease. We LOVE Burbank!!! I start by giving a BIG thank you to our hosts, for the experience and the friendship. The home met our needs perfectly. The neighborhood was just as wonderful. My 12 year old made friends, my new driver was able to maneuver the streets safely and was just a few blocks from the YMCA for his workouts. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The gourmet kitchen is perfectly stocked. The beds are comfortable and I loved the steam shower!! There is light and love in this home! We took walks in the neighborhood and even climbed the spectacular mountain that's just at the end of the neighborhood! I highly recommend this home. It's beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located!! Thank you Patty ;)

My family and I love this home and the owners, Mark and Patty. We stay for the month of July and this home is exactly what we were looking for. Easy access to shopping, freeways and just in and out of Burbank, my girls love the backyard with the pool and ping pong table plus we were able to grill out as well. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was great to cook in as well, Mark and Patty are the greatest and were always there to help with anything we needed, you will not go wrong staying at this property and we will be back there is it not all booked up.

I hate to give this wonderful home a super great rating, lest word get out and it be booked the next time I want to visit the area. When we walked into the home initially, I kept asking, is all this space ours to use. The owners are amazing, just like the home. Our small gathering on New Year's eve was so much fun with friends from around the country in for the Rose Bowl. Patti and Mark, the owners accepted our invitation to attend. They are welcoming and comfortable people, just like their home is. Loved the space, the kitchen, the pool, the spacious upstairs bath/steam room and the sun of California as I sit in Michigan with a temp of 20 BELOW ZERO! Can't wait to return.

House was first class all the way. Completely immaculate. Very comfortable beds. We slept four very comfortably including my two 80+ yr old parents. Upstairs suite gave us privacy when we needed it. Kitchen was first rate with every cooking utensil any chef would appreciate right on down to multiple types of wine opener. Loved cooking on the huge gas stove. Even cooked on the outside grill once. Perfect setting for our 18 month old grandson to come and visit every day. He ran around the spacious inside and loved playing in the backyard as well. Pictures don't do the place justice. Don't pass on the steam room. It was very relaxing. Had weather been warmer we would have taken advantage of the pool as well. Walking distance to the Burbank Mall and mutiple restaurants. (Not to mention two micro-breweries). Patti and Mark living in the cottage in back makes them available if you need them. We didn't need anything but made a point to talk to them. They too are as great as their place. We're convinced that had we needed anything they would have been very responsive. Great place for any couple or family. Description is well done and accurate. A fun house and backyard with pool, ping pong table, tables, loungers, and grill. Very private fenced area, great for pets and small children. Kitchen has very updated appliances. Big hits (other than outside area) - LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION. Also, balcony off master bedroom with beautiful blooming tree. Huge master bath with steam room. Large widescreen TV in open living area including bar, kitchen and two-sided fireplace. Study/library for a great get-away inside or a charming outdoor covered porch off of a bedroom. Definitely would stay here again. It was a wonderful time for our family. Thanks Patti for everything.

This house is comfortable and perfectly located for seeing just about every corner of the LA Basin! We had a great stay and Patti made everything completely easy - her communication is stellar! Even our dog enjoyed hangin with Patti. :) Thanks for a great week!

We had a party of six stay very comfortably at this amazing home. The house is clean and feels like a resort Villa. We told the owners we were planning on having a BBQ and althought they already had a nice grill, they went out and bought a new one for us... talk about accomidating! The pool and grounds were great. The layout of the home is perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom with steam steam showers all are noteworthy but there are not enough words allowed on this review to express how nice it is. We also really enjoyed Ears, the hound dog and the owners of the home who came to our Memorial Day BBQ after we invited them. We had so much fun and couldn't have dreamed of a better place to stay.

I stayed in this wonderful property with my 78 year old mother and 76 year old aunt for one week. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and very spacious. The owners, Patricia & Mark, are very hospitable and friendly. Patricia was prompt in responding to my booking request; everything went smoothly and she very helpfully offered to stock the fridge with whatever we wanted in advance of our arrival. The property has a lovely garden, which is perfect for breakfasting in the morning sunshine. It is located in a beautiful residential neighbourhood, which is safe and conveniently located. Off-street parking is a bonus. Patricia and Mark were located in a bungalow on the grounds during our stay, which was great as they were an unobtrusive presence but always available for a friendly chat or to assist us with anything that we needed. Their dog, Ears, is a delight...really well behaved, friendly and a great guard dog! We were delighted with our stay at this home and we strongly recommend the property. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit.

What a lovely home, it was everything we expected and more. Luxurious Master Suite with huge walk in shower and steam bath. We were a party of 5 adults and all thoroughly enjoyed your home. I have to tell you there was a lot of Kitchen envy from the men, we all loved your gourmet kitchen. It was a real pleasure to come back to your home after a day out in the hustle and bustle of LA. Very quiet and inviting. In a city as large as LA is was nice to come back to such a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Very close to all the major studios, would recommend Warner Bros to anyone interested and definitely, Starline's hop on hop off tours for 2 day's.
