The house was wonderful, comfortable for our family of six, the kitchen had everything we needed and the pool - outdoor area was perfect to relax at. The supermarket is down the street, five minute walk and the beach is there too. Location was very convenient, we did a bike tour around the area and found lots of great spots to bike, hike and small beach areas. The host was very helpful and easy to reach. When we come back to Curacao, I will definitely check if the house is available - would love to stay here again.

This house was truly something out of a magazine. Bathrooms in every room to include a hallway guest bathroom. The bedrooms were spacious with beds as comfortable as clouds! Will definitely be back!

Villa Solo is absoluut een prachtige villa met alles wat je nodig hebt binnen handbereik. 3 ruime slaapkamers en elke een ruime badkamer. Bij ontvangst stonden de eerste koude drankjes al voorgekoeld in de koelkast, maakt het net weer even helemaal af. Het zwembad is heerlijk en de buitenruimte groot genoeg om heerlijk heel de dag in en rondom de villa te verblijven. De villa ligt in een rustige wijk en op loopafstand van de supermarkt en het strand, ideaal om een dagdeel aan het zwembad te liggen en een dagdeel naar het strand te gaan. Tot slot super en snel contact, echt een aangename service! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Arriving at Villa Solo, we knew that the house was going to be even better than we had hoped. The house is accurately represented in all photos and the layout was ideal, immaculate, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our host Axel was always very responsive and always a pleasure to deal with. The same can be said for the local property manager Marieke who was waiting for us when we arrived and provided excellent service and support. The area is growing and has many new beautiful houses being constructed nearby. Amenities are first rate. The Villa is fully equipped and with the exception of not having a clothes dryer you have virtually every modern appliance including Nespresso machine. If you don’t stay by the pool, it’s a 5 minute walk to the Papagayo beach club and all of the local restaurants, sports facilities, fitness club, shops and beach. Private gated parking and excellent security makes the area safe at all hours. We would definitely want to come back here again! Thank you Axel!!

The villa was clean, modern, spacious, private and very comfortable. Management was attentive and overal we had a wonderful stay. I will rent the same villa again.

Wat een geweldig fijne villa! Wij hebben genoten van het eiland maar ook van ons tijdelijke thuis. Het voldeed meer dan volledig aan onze verwachting. Top villa mooi luxe uitgevoerd op een prachtige locatie. Geweldige service van Marieke en Paul. Tevens zie je dat deze villa met liefde voor gastvrijheid is gebouwd en word verhuurd, beheerd. Voor ons als gezin krijgt de villa een dikke 10.

Fantastische ervaring, kan niets bedenken waardoor dit verblijf minder dan 5* waard zou zijn; de villa is prachtig, van alle gemakken voorzien en is zéér schoon en goed onderhouden. Ook een groot compliment aan het beheer; toen een rolluik het (op zondag!) begaf stond er binnen het halfuur de beheerster Marieke met een klusjesman op de stoep die het probleem direct verhielp. Echt tóp! De vraag is niet óf wij terugkomen maar wanneer!

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in vakantievilla Solo. Vanaf de boeking tot het daadwerkelijke verblijf, we zijn super tevreden. Het contact met eigenaar Axel was heel goed, niets was een probleem (bijvoorbeeld babybed en kinderstoel) en alles werd moeiteloos geregeld. Een fijne ontvangst door Marieke en zij heeft ons tijdens ons verblijf ook goed geholpen met tips etc. De villa zelf is echt prachtig, een heerlijke buitenruimte met zwembad, ruime slaapkamers met goede doucheruimtes en fijne bedden. Mijn vader is slecht ter been, en hierdoor moeten we bij het uitzoeken van een huis altijd rekening houden met trappen met leuningen e.d. Dat was in dit huis in ieder geval geen probleem, alles gelijkvloers en makkelijke inloop in het zwembad. Verder over de villa, alles voelde als nieuw en het was erg schoon. Tuin en zwembad werden goed bijgehouden en een keer per week schoonmaak en nieuwe handdoeken. De locatie van de villa was echt top, op loopafstand van de Albert Heijn, Jan Thiel strand en een tal van leuke beach cafes en restaurantjes! Al met al, supertevreden en de volgende Curacao vakantie zeker weer Vista Royal!

This beautiful home was exactly as pictured on the home away site. Attention to detail was evident throughout. Great walkable neighbourhood, very safe, grocery store a 5 minute walk away & 5 minute walk to the beach. The home is very clean, new up to date appliances & furnishings. Pool & patio lights up at night making a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend this property to all my family & friends.

Geweldige villa met heerlijk zwembad. Bij aankomst super ontvangen door beheerster Marieke. Je kunt met allerlei vragen bij haar terecht. In de villa ontbreekt het je aan niets, alles heel erg schoon en netjes. Op loopafstand van de winkels, strand en restaurants. We hebben wel een huurauto geboekt om het mooie Curacao te ontdekken. We willen zeker nog een keer terug naar villa Solo ❤️

Property was beautiful! We were greeted by the property manager who showed us around the villa and gave us information about what to do on the island. She was always a phone call away and was Extremely attentive and helpful. Property was very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Pool was beautiful as well as the landscaping. Great location too, the beach, grocery store and restaurants are all within walking distance. Very nice and safe area. Wonderful experience!!

Pictures cannot fully show how wonderfull this property is. Easy walking to area beaches, groceries, bars, and restaurants. A private oasis. A rental car gives you full access to the whole island. We found it easy to get around.

Wat een prachtige villa met smaakvolle inrichting! Van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke bedden en alles lekker ruim opgezet. Alleen maar positief. Zeer vriendelijke beheerders en leuke poolboy. Wij komen hier zeker weten weer terug!

Ons verblijf was geweldig in deze prachtige villa. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie, frisse inrichting, heerlijke bedden, goede locatie. Kan niets negatiefs zeggen. Wij komen hier zeker weten weer terug!

In 1 woord GEWELDIG! Schitterend huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. Op loopafstand van diverse winkeltjes, strand, supermarkt, etc. Het zwembad, keuken, slaapkamers, terras, alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd! Ook gelijk een compliment voor de zwembadjongen. Wat hebben wij genoten! Het is jammer dat we maar 5 sterren kunnen geven. Graag tot de volgende keer!

Villa Solo is a beautiful villa in a lovely suburb with other nice villas around it. The pool and gardens were fantastic with plenty of space for everyone in both the sun and the shade. The large shutters that open up to make the kitchen, dining room and garden into one big space were a great idea.All the bedrooms were really large and lovely and cool with the air con (a welcome relief from the hot sun) and all have big en-suite shower rooms so no queuing for the bathroom. There is a supermarket which is really good quality just five minutes walk away along with some fashion shops and a good selection of restaurants by the beach.So if you didn’t want to bother driving then everything you need is a 5-10 minute walk. Although I would recommend a car to see all the beautiful beaches the island has.The villa management guys are great too, they even drove to the roundabout on the main road to meet us so we didn’t get lost. Only two minor things I would do to improve the villa - 1. Put a light over the barbecue as guests will normally be using it when it’s dark (too hot to stand barbecuing in the day time ) and 2. A ceiling fan above the dining table would just keep the air moving as it can be very humid at night.But these are very minor comments and wouldn’t stop me returning as we had a great time in a beautiful villa

We had a steady breeze throughout the house when the shudders were open. During our entire stay (Mid February) the temperature stayed between 77ºF and 82ºF. The villa was very secure, comfortable, and in a great location. Many great restaurants, beaches, and a grocery store within walking distance. There were no mosquitos and only a few flies around at any given time. The local manager, Marieke, was really helpful when she met us at the Villa and lived only a few minutes away. She was very accessible via phone or text whenever we needed assistance or a recommendation. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Curacao.

The thought that went into the design and furnishings was totally on point. It was like our every need had been anticipated and fulfilled. We could not have asked for a more perfect villa.

Locatie is super. Veilig en een mooie wijk. Goed ligging, veel faciliteiten. Woning is nagenoeg nieuw, schoon en praktisch. Fijne eigenaar en beheerder, staan snel klaar en vriendelijk. We hebben dezelfde woning weer geboekt voor de volgende vakantie!
