We had a wonderful time in Janna’s home. She was very gracious and welcoming! Upon arrival, we were immediately drawn in by the stunning view overlooking the water. We enjoyed many evenings on the deck and the home’s decor was incredibly warm and inviting. 😊

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view overlooking round lake. The house is well taken care of with beautiful gardens. The bathrooms and laundry are supplied with toiletries and nice soaps, and plenty of towels, including beach towels, are provided. Our family and a few friends really enjoyed our time on the balcony, and we can’t wait to stay again next year. Thanks to Janna for being a gracious and welcoming host! -The Farjo Family

We had a wonderful family vacation in this charming Charlevoix home. It was a perfect location for enjoying all Downtown has to offer with a quick walk to great restaurants, shopping, etc…. We loved the spacious deck with a beautiful view of the marina and Round Lake. It also had a nicely landscaped, private yard.The house had plenty of room to gather together but also room to spread out for personal space. The master suite level was large and very nice with a huge his/hers bathroom, as well as a second living area.. The wi-fi was strong enough for our daughter to work remotely and we had no problem streaming movies. The owner included special touches throughout which made it feel very comfortable.

Our group makes an annual pilgrimage to Charlevoix to play Belvedere, and very fortunate to secure lodging at Belvedere Cottages as guests or renters. I have passed 102 Belvedere on walks many times and always wondered about it, the house itself is hidden by trees and landscaping. Finding the house as a rental is a funny story, but from the moment I walked into the house I realized this would be a special stay. The house & grounds radiate Janna's zen energy. The moment you enter the house you are under her spell, you pour that first gin & tonic, then mesmerized by the deck view you realize 2 hours later you haven't unloaded the car.

Downtown Charlevoix
102 Belvedere has way too many positive features/attributes/characteristics to list here. I'll list the one that was most important to me while on vacation: easy. The house, yard, location, parking, owner, etc. simply work. Zero issues.

Excellent home and location
Absolutely wonderful for so many reasons. Location is to die for, accommodations for a mix of older teens and adults, and equipped to make it easy to arrive and enjoy. This was our 2nd summer staying here and it’s truly an awesome experience.

We love Charlevoix and we love Janna’s cozy house on the hill. Beautiful view of the marina from the back deck and you can walk anywhere you need to go. We will be back for sure.

Magnificent Vacation and Accommodations
Usually when you see a property online it looks better than in person. NOT THE CASE with 102 Belvedere in Charlevoix. It was a spectacular home and the host went out of here way to make sure every little detail was covered. The location couldn't be better. We walked everywhere and the views for BOTH decks were incredible. I couldn't have imagined staying at a nicer home than the one we stayed at. I'm so thankful for a fabulous family vacation!

If you're a deck lover who enjoys a view, this is your spot. Charlevoix is fantastic and this house owns one of the best views and locations possible.
Our entire family has a fantastic week including our dog, Buster. If you're on the fence about a place to stay, look no further. This is your spot!

Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Loved the deck. Enjoyed watching boats come in and out of the harbor. Lovely home, well-stocked with all of the necessities. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location
Wonderful view of the marina and the park downtown. So convenient to walk to shops and restaurants, grocery store and beach. Owner of property was very thorough in preparing the amenities and providing everything you need. We'll be going back again.

Wonderful experience in Charlevoix!
My husband and I, our 1-year old, and my in-laws stayed here at the end of September. The house exceeded our expectations with a view that can’t be beat, very clean, fully equipped, and accessible to everything we needed. Grocery store and downtown are just steps from our door, but the best part is the beautiful spacious deck and yard with a view of the harbor. The third floor loft was perfect for work for my husband with good wi-fi access. The house is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed from toiletries to fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge and exceptional. Just a great family trip, enjoying beautiful evenings on the deck, al fresco dining in the yard, playing with the baby in the main room, nighttime games in the upstairs family room, and many walks around the neighborhood and to downtown to stop in the shops and restaurants. Our host Janna was also very attentive and accessible. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house in a great location!
Loved the property and Charlevoix! Our family of 5 enjoyed the house alot!!! Very comfortable and well stocked (from the kitchen to the bathrooms). The location is perfect - walking distance to town - restaurants, shops, grocery store, Lake Michigan beach. We walked everyday! We watched the sunset almost every day - beautiful! Ferry Beach is walkable but we drove since we had some water toys. Torch Lake is beautiful but farther. We even checked out Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Traverse City. Janna was very accessible to any questions and comments we have - thank you!!! We definitely want to come back!!!

Great Location and Home
We throughly enjoyed our stay. We have never been to northern Michigan and loved Charlevoix! The home is just a block to the beautiful downtown area. And talk about a well stocked home. I brought many things with me based on past VRBO home experiences. I needed none of them. An array of utensils, pots, pans, and serving dishes. She even supplied beach towels! We spent most our time on her patio that overlooked the harbor watching the world go by. She welcomed our dogs and the home has a great backyard for them to run in. While there, the internet went out throughout the town. Janna came over immediately with a portable WiFi (hot spot) since 3 of us were working while there. We had one concern when heading into Michigan during Covid-- masks. Since they aren't mandatory in the state we were concerned about safety. We were thrilled to see stores and restaurants requiring them. Everyone had masks and were wearing them!!! So in these crazy times this is a great place to get away to.

Beautiful view
A great home in a great location. The deck is a great place to start and end your day with a beautiful view of Round Lake. Walking distance to groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Plenty of room for six people. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Fantastic Choice
What a great week at this rental. Everything the other reviews say- great location and pictures don’t do the property justice. So spacious and so happy with all supplies at the house. We cooked wonderful dinners and enjoyed them on the huge deck outside. I really could have stayed on the deck the whole week! Owner super nice and accommodating as well.

Amazing Stay!
We enjoyed an amazing week in Charlevoix the Beautiful!! The location and view of this property is amazing, after you get there you don’t even need a car, you can walk everywhere you can imagine. House was stocked with all the necessities and more, highly recommend this property!

A dream vacation home!
We really enjoyed our stay in a Charlevoix. The home has a million dollar view of Round Lake and is close to everything. The owner, Janna, was super welcoming, even giving us a small gift on our arrival (real Michigan maple syrup!). The house was decorated beautifully in a Great Lakes theme. Everything was provided which was nice- linens, beach towels, etc. Really could not have asked for more. Make sure to see the sun set over Lake Michigan nightly - “Up-North” Michigan at it’s best.

Adorable!
We loved staying at this property for a vacation with my parents. The town is very walkable with a lot to do. The artwork in the home was gorgeous and the house was very peaceful with beautiful views of the harbor. We'd love to go back sometime!

Great location and accomodations
My wife and I were thrilled with the location and house during our recent visit to Charlevoix. The views overlooking the water were absolutely gorgeous and the location could not have been more convenient. Just a short walk from downtown Charlevoix and just off of Bridge street, this house made walking/driving anywhere a breeze. Our group had 4 people and 2 children and were never cramped for space. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze and communication with the owner was great. We will definitely try to book this place again on our next trip to Charlevoix.

Wonderful big lakefront house
Property features, size and amenities were better than expected. The pictures don't do full justice to how large and nice the house was.
Janna was very helpful and accomodating on our check in as we were visiting from out of town and unsure on our arrival time.
