Very Nice and easy to understand what was needed

I have now rented this home twice. I will again.

This house was spacious and had all of the basic amenities. Backyard was always filled with deer, turkeys and Canadian geese. Beautiful setting close to all of the stores.

The property is exactly as advertised. Truly a great place for a family vacation.

Our extended family of 9 had a great time. We managed to jet boat in Grants Pass, go wine tasting in the Applegate Valley, raft down the Rogue, go zip lining, and visit Crater Lake. Unfortunately Covid cancelled our Shakespeare Festival Play. The house is incredibly spacious and well stocked. We loved eating meals on the back deck watching the river. Enjoyed the deer wandering through the yard. Everyone loved the house and I imagine we will be looking at staying here again next Summer.

8 friends who have been together for 45 years met here. It was a perfectly lovely house. Great accommodations. Very clean. Very convenient.

Great house for our family and friends, approximately 6 adult and 2 kids. It was our headquarters for traveling up to the sno-parks to play during the day. A great warm place to return to in afternoon when cold. Had all the amenities, plenty of room/beds and nice view unto itself. Can’t wait to return, highly recommended.

Don't know what could have made it better

This house was perfect for our book club retreat. It was close enough to conveniences, yet felt so private and relaxing. The view of the river with Canadian geese flying past was gorgeous. The house was comfortable and well stocked. It was clean and easily held our group. We enjoyed the proximity to hikes and Crater Lake.

We came for a family reunion and couldn't have stayed at a better place. The views were wonderful and the location to Crater Lake was perfect.

We stayed at this property with six adults and three small children. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely! The entire downstairs was used by my daughter and her family with the small children due to the quantity of bedrooms downstairs. The views are to die for. We saw wildlife every day and even got to see a full moon rising over the mountain tops. Definitely a great property for larger groups. We had three families up here and had a great time. Even on the hottest weekend on record (115F). Thankfully the place was ice cold when we got here. The hosts were super fast to respond to our questions and the place was fabulous. The classic Crater Lake and Fly Fishing and Jet Boat excursions are not to be missed. We’ll be back for sure.

We were a group of three couples and had plenty of room to enjoy a relaxing time in the house and outside. It took us a day or two to find the beach chairs, but once we found those, we spent as much time as possible at the river's edge. We enjoyed the daily visits from the geese and their goslings and the drift boats. We booked the house in the midst of COVID with the idea we would use the two kitchen areas, but at this point everyone was vaccinated in our group and we barely used the downstairs kitchen. Lovely, comfortable and best view in Shady Cove. I especially appreciated the owner's prompt response to our questions prior to the trip. Would definitely recommend this home.

We spent time with family in this spacious home- it is more like two homes, one upstairs and one down stairs, with 2 kitchens- it allowed everyone to have space and privacy. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It was amazing to have the river in the backyard; we spent many happy hours in the backyard fishing. Very close to other great fishing spots as well. My husband was able to catch a 12lb steel-head from shore, and we baked it that night at the house. It was the perfect dinner for a perfect day! The beds were very comfortable, and the kids loved the ping pong table. Hoping to return one day.

Are you looking for a big property for your family to enjoy wild life and tranquility? This is the place for you! WOW. My family loved the layout of the house - plenty of room for all 1 year old to 60 years old. The view from the deck is just out of this world gorgeous. The kids enjoyed watching deer every morning/evening on the lawn. Plenty of beds, large kitchens (yes 2 of them), large dining table and all that we needed. To be honest the cellular reception is OK and data network/WI-FI access is average or slow. Not strong enough for others to be on it while you need to work/get on zoom calls. I was remoting in for 2 days with zoom calls and Microsoft teams video calls and it did not work half the time. I did have a few panic attacks but got thru it. I want to mention this because many folks are opting to work remotely these days from house rentals. We would definitely stay here again but I would not remote in for work and just enjoy life.
