The cabi. Is beautiful and is in a beautiful setting. The host, Lisa, communicated excelent and was very helpful. The greatroom and kitchen are outstanding and offer ample space for 6-8 to sit comfortably. Great wood burning fireplace also.
The negetives: there were flies everywhere in the house, both live and dead ones all around. The bedrooms are quite small and have smaller beds, the photos are a bit deceiving. The upstairs bedroom had a leak in the tub but it was remedied immediately by the owner.
I would recommend.

Very nice house with beautiful views. Well equipped. Good communication with owner. Internet is very slow which owner told us prior to arrival so not good for streaming or working from home.

Apple Ridge is a large, comfortable and well-appointed home. The kitchen is large and well-equipped; 3 of us had no problem cooking together. Beds we're comfortable and bed and bath linens we're of good quality. Lots of books & games for rainy days. We had a very pleasant stay.

Spacious, well-maintained home with beautiful mountain views. Kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect for a vacation week. Very private. Remote location in a wooded area, but quick & easy access by car to Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Boone.

Beautiful, roomy, and comfortable logged cabin overlooking the mountains. It was very conveniently near the town of Blowing Rock, but remote enough to provide privacy and quiet. A wonderful retreat for family and friends.

The owners obviously put a great deal of effort into making their home clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The views (as mentioned in many reviews before) are gorgeous.
The area is very wooded and private, and the fall colors were spectacular.
Only wish we could have stayed longer.

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at Apple Ridge cabin. The Mountain Views are amazing. The cabin is very spacious and the furnishings are attractive and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient to area attractions in Blowing Rock and Boone. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

We loved our stay!! The location was perfect for getting to both Downtown Blowing Rock and Tweetsie with the little ones!! The place was very clean and cozy. Amazing views!! Will definitely stay there again next year!

This home is absolutely beautiful The view from the back deck is incredible and the structure of the home is what every log mountain home should be. Wonderfully appointed - comfortable throughout - and just a peaceful lovely place to be.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beds are very comfortable (extremely important) and house was very clean. The kitchen is thoroughly stocked with every convenience.

Great Weekend Mountain Getaway
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful log cabin home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The home has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. During our visit we enjoyed the many things to do in the area such as Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Falls, Mystery Hill and the town of Blowing Rock. We encourage you to give this awesome log cabin home a visit. Enjoy your stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is more like having your own personal national Park Lodge to enjoy. Very spacious, beautiful log home with large deck and kitchen. We cooked meals, played board games and loved the evening sunsets. The quick drive to Blowing Rock makes it easy to enjoy town, dinners out and access to hiking locations. The dirt road to the cabin is right off 321 and easily navigable. It also makes for a very quiet night with no traffic.

Fantastic cabin
We had a great time at this cabin in early October. Was a rainy fall weekend so we missed out on some of the long range views. No matter. Cabin was as described and exactly what I was looking for!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Apple Ridge. The house was very comfortable and the view was incredible. Kitchen had everything we needed. Extremely quiet location yet very close to Blowing Rock and surrounding activities. Would definitely go back to Apple Ridge.

Fantastic view and location
We rented this house for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect. The location is great - very easy to get to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway- and the view is amazing! Everything is just as pictured in the listing and Lisa is very easy to work with.

Long Weekend Getaway
This was our first trip to the Blowing Rock area......the property and area were exactly as advertised. The cabin was fantastic and the views from the deck Exceptional. Lisa was great to work with and gave us numerous ideas of what to do during our long weekend getaway. Thank you Lisa

Beautiful mountain getaway
My wife and I escaped the summer heat of Texas by spending a week in the beauty of the Blowing Rock area. The home that we rented was perfect for us. The view of the mountains and Pisgah National Forest from the expansive deck is spectacular and became the site of early morning coffee, daily meals and evening relaxation with a glass of wine. Lisa provided very clear guidance for enjoying the property and the local attractions. Our week included hiking, trout fishing, exploring the local villages, and just enjoying the property. We have recommended Lisa and her property to several friends and are already planning a return visit.
