Had a wonderful stay at this cozy-yet-modern cottage on Parker Pond. VERY kid friendly with high chair and baby gates provided. Saw more loons than people while we were there (mid-September). Beach and dock provide great water access (sandy bottom, not muddy unless you wade out a ways). Spent most of the time letting the kids (1 and 3) play in the water. Nice hiking trails at the headlands preserve at the end of the road. Overall great place, hope to come back again!

This place was just what the doctor ordered for a quiet getaway. The camp was beautiful ! We spent most of our time sitting on the dock reading and looking down the lake. The screened in porch was great too!

An interesting house with creative lighting and decorations. Having kayaks provided let us get on the very quiet pond on many days. The property manager was very helpful responding to a minor issue. Issue resolved quickly.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in this charming, we'll appointed, comfortable cottage on sparkling Parker Pond. As we had our morning coffee on the screened in porch we saw a loon family go by just about every day. Having kayaks to use made our stay even more fun!

We absolutely loved this cabin on Parker Pond. It is the quintessential Maine camp on the lake with the feel of old but with all the clean modern touches. The screened porch overlooking lake was my favorite place. Did some exploring of the neighboring area and some of the preserve trails. All in all, a great vacation.

Nice relaxing week at the pond. The grandchildren loved fishing and paddle boarding, visiting Dew Haven, and campfires. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely spend more time here!

This was our second year at this lovely house. Everything was exceptionally clean and prepared for our stay. In these unusual times of COVID 19, we felt totally comfortable and safe in this home. The fishing and weather were great! We look forward to returning to Naine again next year!!

We enjoyed an amazing week at Amani. The pictures do not do justice to the immaculate newly-constructed home and the pristine pond. Every day was restful and joyful, whether there was rain (which allowed for reading and board games on the expansive screened porch), cool days (perfect for kayaking out to one of the islands for a picnic) or a warm day that brought lots of swimming. The house was always a welcome place to which to return. And return again, we hope to do!

The house was very clean upon arrival and offered plenty of space for my family of four. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking the local trails, and using the fire pit to make s'mores. The lake is quiet and we had a very relaxing week. Holly was very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions about how to vacation at her property with the current regulations for travel in Maine due to the pandemic. Since we had to travel with most of our food, she even picked up a few groceries for us to lighten our car load. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.

4 adults with an 8 and 12 year old. Everyone totally enjoyed the camp. If you needed some amenity it was there. Property had everything. We stayed during the week and it was very quiet, not many kayakers or boats in the cove. Many Loons in the morn or eve. Bald eagles and small wildlife. Water was clean and clear, fine for swimming. Truly a GEM!

This lakeside cottage was the nicest rental my family ever stayed in. It really didn't feel like a rental at all, as the owners had put so many interesting details into the home. The craftsmanship of the home is very beautiful. There were many videos and books to read and several kayaks and a rowboat. The home had pretty much everything you needed for an enjoyable week on the lake. On top of that, the owners were very helpful and available for any questions, and gave very detailed information and instructions on things including where to go to rent a boat and the exact boulders to avoid in the lake. In these awful times of COVID-19, it is a true haven of relaxation and you can be assured of complete cleanliness of the cottage, as it was completely disinfected and super clean and organized. Can't say enough good things about this place. My family didn't want to leave.

We have vacationed in Maine for over 25 years. We love Parker Pond and we were delighted when we found this beautiful home to stay in this summer. This house was by far the largest home that we have stayed in. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The cove was very tranquil with no boat traffic. The fishing was great and the water is very clean. The screen porch was my favorite place! I read or crafted out there for several hours every day. Thanks for a great week in Maine!!

What a beautiful property! Holly and Rob were always in communication. Rob gave us a guided tour of the pond when we got our boat which was VERY helpful! We enjoyed the screened in porch immensely, and i enjoyed coffee on the dock. Lots of games and time with family. Tubing and swimming on the pond in warm water. Had an issue with septic tank which was addressed immediately. Only two cons:second bedroom upstairs only with blanket for a door and bathroom downstairs only with a bathtub. We made it work. There is an outdoor shower with warm water. Must go to Fielders Choice for ice cream! We will most likely stay here again when visiting family in Maine!!

We enjoyed a great week at the Groom's camp on Parker Pond. The weather was warm and most nights were cool and breezy. When we arrived the house was imacultely maintained and what a pleasure this was to us as we have encountered not such favorable accommodations in previous years. We were there for a week with four of our Grandchildren. What a great time was had for all. They grandchildren went kayaking every day as well as fishing and swimming. We also did a lot of fishing, catching some great Bass in the 3-5 lb range. The screened porch was one of the best features and we spent every eveining on the porch playing games. Couldn't have asked for a better week weather wise and the camp was very well outfitted for a more than comfortable stay. We were also thrilled that they had A/C in the Camp for a couple of humid nights. The Grooms made contacting them very easy if there were any problems. Our Grandchildren are already asking if we can repeat this next summer. That tells us that they really enjoyed Parker Pond. We surely will consider it!!! The cottage itself was immaculate. There were 3 older couples and were looking for for two bathrooms with two showers. On arriving we were contacted by the owner who advised us that one of the showers was not working. She said there was an outside shower, but that was not for us. There was an abandoned cottage across the the street which was a little unnerving and the side neighbors were a little close. The main dock was not stationary and made it difficult to sit or get in or out of our boat.i had a hard time reaching the owner a few days before we were to move in. She was traveling, but we needed to know the procedure to access the cabin. All in all, the interior was probably the nicest cottage we have ever rented. Just a couple of old people quirks.

We stayed the week befor Labor Day and had great weather and a great place to stay on Parker Pond. Camp had everything you need/want and the location can’t be beat.

We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the lake. It was the first time for me but my other family had already experienced kayaking. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire almost every night, roasting marshmallows and making smores. My family filled the house and found the house to be adequate in size. The only thing that we thought may have made our stay a bit better was a safety gate for the stairs. Our toddler loved the challenge of getting past us. We had only one day of rain in the morning. We ventured to Farmington to do some shopping and when we returned, the rain was over and we got in the pond to play. We enjoyed and relaxed with our family, making our stay at Parker Pond the best vacation ever! Thank you for sharing your camp with us!

Holly & Rob were wonderful! Made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions for local favorite spots to eat and day trip ideas too! We stayed for two weeks in this perfect cottage! The photos do not do it justice at all! The building and interior details are very well thought out and special. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. The cove was so quiet yet alive with wildlife. Everyday an osprey dove in for breakfast, loons visited at least twice a day, a baby beaver or otter (not sure which), blue heron, king fisher and hummingbirds. We rented a ski boat from Belgrade Boat Shop, so we were out on the lake everyday for hours tubing, skiing and fishing. Fishing was amazing! We lost count. Did catch one small salmon trolling! What a thrill! Watch for boulders just under the surface near/just offshore! The hike on the preserve wasn't hard and worth the time to do! 15 minutes to great breakfast place OPOC and a nice simple family restaurant The Weather-vane, also close. Rain day into Augusta about 45 minutes to movies. The two kayaks only added to the fun! Explored the islands in the lake, so beautiful! Though there was a TV, in two weeks- we watched one movie! So nice to be exhauasted at the end of the day and UNPLUGGED! Washer and dryer was the cherry on top! We would return again and again!

Cabin was very nice,the style in side was eye opening,it look like all was hand made tables.firepalces,beds,end tables,etc very different .The showers were alittle challenging but agian like no other shower you,ve ever been in before,very clean and in a private cove..Fishing was great we caught 80 bass over a 3 day period.

We spent a week at this comfortable and lovely cottage. The house was beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. The area was peaceful and quiet- we loved being right on the pond. There are hiking trails within walking distance and the pond is perfect for kayaking. We both wished we could have stayed longer. The Owner, Holly called to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions. We will definitely be back!
