the property is very nice, the beds were good and the the room was clean.

the food isn’t good and the water pressure of the shower was terrible

The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

I was counting on having wifi (professional business) all the time of the stay but since it rained a lot the power went off. I had to go to the local museum after the recommendation of the host. He helped me a lot even though I totally realise it wasn’t their fault.

The host was communicative and gave good directions and information. The view at the property was really nice.

It is about 40 minutes from Villavieja and over an hour from the main sites of the desert. There are lots and lots of mosquitos and bugs and no mosquito nets over the beds. My entire family were eaten alive by fleas from all the animals at the ranch and mosquitos. It also is advertised as "breakfast included" but when we checked out, the host wanted us to pay 70.000 COP per child more for breakfast, even though the reservation said that we had kids and no one communicated this to us when we communicated about how much our bill would be (i.e. how much cash we needed to bring to pay in cash since they didn't take cards). The pool was pretty, but it isn't kept up well. Lots of bugs, hair, leaves, etc. in it and not very clear. The biggest issue I had though is that the owner said she set up a tour for us of the desert, told us what time and where to meet the guide but she didn't actually organize anything, even though we requested it several times and even confirmed with her that it was set up. This could have ruined the entire weekend (we ended up organizing a guide on our own in town).
