8 Folks stayed in 1 house and it was MORE than enough space. Excellent amenities, easy to coordinate with the host. Amazing place.

Our family of seven had a lovely time at this house. All details for meal preparation, sleeping, and entertaining were well provided for. This was truly a home away from home.

Close to Lake Michigan and a great house.

We booked this place to have friends come visit us in Michigan City and it went beyond our expectations. The purpose of the stay was mostly a place for our friends to sleep and the place was bigger than anticipated. The upstairs loft had plenty of space and the beds were all made for us which was really nice to be done. Communication with Ed was extremely prompt. We will be booking this place again!

Property was wonderful and just as described, if not better. Home was very clean and roomy. We loved how close it was to the beach which was also very clean. We would definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The best thing was the walking distance to beautiful beach. The only safety issue I noticed was the stairs from the loft down . It is not safe for younger kids and elders. Other than that we love the place and all the amenities and beautiful area. Thanks much.

The biggest advantage of this house is that it is only a short walking distance to the beach. If there are any rain days, there is a screen porch to enjoy the day. There was only two of us, but this house could hold many more. Lots of large table games in the basement for children to play. Negatives are the master bedroom has a double bed, not a queen, which we are use to. Also, the second bathroom in the basement is far from any bedrooms. However, if the goal is to visit the beach daily, this house is well positioned.

Loved the backyard and screened in porch. Nice easy walk to the private beach on Lake Michigan which is beautiful. Kitchen is well-stocked and there are plenty of toys and games for kids of all ages inside or out. The loft is charming and the house is comfortable; only has one bedroom though. Lots of stairs. Owner is very helpful. Lovely neighborhood. Good shopping close by and restaurants.

We loved the house! Lots of room, very clean, and lots of thoughtful extras. We loved the Foosball, air hockey, & poker table in the basement. We would definitely stay here again.

This beach house was absolutely perfect for our sisters-in-law retreat this past weekend. The house was inviting and cozy and amazingly well stocked. The screened-in porch was a wonderful addition and was wonderful to sit in at night to eat our dinner. The house is also only a short 5 minute walk from the beach and the owners provide camping chairs and a wagon to haul everything down to the water. The basement is full of fun activities for kids to enjoy. There are a good number of stairs, but it wasn't an issue for our group at all. The owners were extremely inviting (even left us a little welcome note!) and were incredibly responsive with the few questions we had when we were there. There were several of us staying there that are excited to come back with our own families to enjoy this house once more!

The bungalow was great for our family vacation to Michigan. Ample space, good proximity, well equipped, and things to keep the kids entertained. We had a great stay!

The beach was such a quick walk! As mentioned in another review, bring water shoes because the entrance to the water is very rocky. House was great. Lots of beds for large groups. Loved the board game selection, foosball table, and air hockey. The screened in porch made for comfortable dining. Some minor issues were the internet randomly cut out, which was only a problem while my husband had to get some work done, and the room with the tv didn’t have the brightest lighting in the evenings. Had a great stay and my kiddo has already planned things for us to do when we return in the future!

Lovely home, lots of comfy beds! Very clean! Was not aware of how many stairs there were and it was difficult with small children. I would rent again but without kids.

The house was perfect for our 5 grandkids and 4 adults. Basement was a life saver. Kids loved it. Close to the beach so we could walk and haul everything we wanted to take with us. We would definitely stay again.

Came to town to visit family for Mother’s Day weekend. Very pleased with our stay and will likely rent again in the future! Was great to also have some kids toys and books for our little ones. Location is perfect.

My family and I wanted to get away for the weekend and this home was the perfect place! It was very clean and well stocked in kitchen material so that we could cook together. We were able to use their outdoor grill off season since the weather was nice and warm. Correspondence with the owner was quick and very helpful so that I could gain access to the home. I recommend this location to anyone!

This house was perfect for what we were looking for in a stay with our family at Lake Michigan. Nice short walk to the beach, clean house and everyone loved the screened in porch. Really nice that they had a pack n play and high chair for our one year old.

This is an ideal location! Very neat house with lots of room. Nice short walk to the beach. Immaculately clean. Huge savings compared to other houses that add extra charges for more than 4 people. We had a large group and for a reasonable price!!

This cottage was very charming and stocked with all the amenities you could need while away. (Seasonings, baggies, foil, oil, dish soap, laundry soap, etc). We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch and short walk to the private beach! Definitely get water shoes if you want to go into the water. It is very rocky and will hurt. Fortunately, we had already read that and our kiddos had the shoes, so the enjoyed the waves! The beach toys and gear were such a plus! We are already thinking about coming back again!

Great experience staying in Long Beach. The house was great and we liked being on the private beach where we could stay socially distant. Ed was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had.
