Absolutely stunning views. As a child I grew up visiting the San Juans every summer for our family reunion. I hadn’t been back in 10+ years for my aunts celebration of life. It was the respite we needed before attending the celebration. We will be coming back soon💛

It was a clean property and a good central location to many attractions. You would hop on the ferries and go to different Islands. You were also not far from downtown Anacortes. It was a nice quiet getaway and the host was really helpful and communicative.

The property fit our needs perfectly. The views were nice and the house was clean. We enjoyed spending our anniversary there.

Cute little eclectic cabin! Just 20 minutes away from Mount Vernon tulips and Street Fair! There's some delicious places to eat nearby, check the Google map reviews! We got outstanding muffin pastries at The Store and incredible seafood specials at Fidalgo Drive in! Looking forward to escaping again!

Great place to unwind and relax. Well appointed kitchen to enjoy making dinner and dining outside while watching for marine life and embracing beautiful sunsets.

This cottage was perfect for our needs with our 2 cats. Great views, cozy gas fireplace, and birds in the backyard! Yachti and Bosun were thrilled. Super nice hosts! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place had everything we needed and the view from the shared garden/yard area was phenomenal. The only surprise was how close the cottage was to the main house (just a sidewalk between the two buildings) but that was not a huge problem. The location is ideal- close to Deception Pass and Washington Park, as well as downtown Anacortes.

House is neat and antiquated, cozy but the bathroom needs to be updated especially the fixtures and the shower faucet was in reverse! Was waiting for the water to get hot all the while it was pointed at the wrong direction!! Hot is spitting cold and vice versa.The shower very small and narrow, it can only accommodate a tiny person who is u fee 5 feet or else your head is going to hit the ceiling!! Kitchen wasn’t stocked with seasonings, only coffee and tea!! Fridge doesn’t even have water!! It was empty except for coffee creamers.The host was always busy each time you want to get in touch with them.. either she was out or driving around! When y left a message, she would respond like 4-5 hrs later!

Nice cottage, beautiful view of San Juan Islands.

My best friend and our two small dogs wanted to get away for a couple days and we were looking at the San Juan Islands, but when the Cottage by the Sea cottage came up in my search it was perfect! Not only was it closer (to Seattle) but the price was great, and the view was just as fabulous as the islands… just on the other side. Our stay in the cottage was idyllic and the hosts were so helpful and personable, truly just like family we’d somehow known prior to meeting them for the first time. Shyni and her daughter think of every detail to make visitor stays as homey and comfortable as possible. Everything was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The yard area is shared by all rental units, which is fun but if you prefer privacy the hosts will graciously respect that as well. The only negative is that our time there was too short, but we will be back for a longer time next time!

Lovely cottage overlooking Burrows Bay. Small perfect stay for two. Comfortably simplistic. Owner provided helpful information about the area upon booking. She was also on sight to meet & greet upon arrival. Meeting their two dogs was an added bonus.

We loved our anniversary trip to this location. Our January anniversary means we like to either go exotic or find something local that's cozy to celebrate the occasion and this place really delivered the cozy. A lovely gas fire place, intimate size and the view of the water all helped with that. But for me it was the little things that made it feel like a home: eco-friendly cleaning products, no strong smells from them either, comfortable furniture that looked like it's meant to be used not just looked at. Our host was available and helpful, even at 8:30pm on a Sunday!

This property is charging 5x what it should be for a run-down place on a noisy street. We will not stay again. Marketing was deceptive!

A lot of noise from busy road. Bathroom was very small and the shower was tiny (also faucet handle was hard to use). There was a matt in the shower over the drain that was weird to stand on. View was amazing.

The space was very clean, nicely decorated and well supplied. There were plenty of fresh linens and towels. Of course the view was gorgeous and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the nightly sunsets. Owners are extremely pleasant and checked in to be sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Loved staying in the Cottage as it was just what we needed. Very easy drive up to Anacortes and to Deception Pass. Beautiful sunset views overlooking Burrows Bay. The main road needs some speed limit enforcement but otherwise perfect location. Very friendly hosts.

Beautiful location. Amazing views. The hosts were wonderful, responsive and welcoming. Cottage not the decor shown, would be great to update the photos. Close to Anacortes for meals, highly recommended “Adrift” on Commercial Ave. Also close to Whale Watching tours. Saw Orcas 💕

The little house is older but clean. The bed is comfortable. The views of sunsets are awesome.

Beautiful location. There were 3 rentals on the property, so sharing is necessary. Hosts were great and the views and sunsets spectacular.
