Great time! Lots of room for 10 people. Super water toys. Just had a great time. Lovely dinner at the Greystone Inn. Rented a boat for the week. Could not have asked for more.

Perfect place for a family vacation! House is great - enough to have 4 couples, a 3 year old and a 9 month old plus a babysitter! We never felt cramped. The view out the back of the house was spectacular - 2 levels of wrap around decks to sit and enjoy the view. House comes fully stocked with a wide variety of ‘Lake Toys’ that all ages enjoyed. House was truly equipped with everything you need for a wonderful week at Lake Toxaway! We will be coming back!

This was our first time staying in this house. Previously we have stayed in a house on the other side of the lake. We greatly enjoyed this house more for several reasons including the quietness on that side of the lake, and the basement area where the kids could separate from the rest of the family! We absolutely love the area and will be booking this house again for next year's vacation!

The house and lot far exceeded our expectations! Excellent communication with Hazel, the property manager… Hazel was exceptional. She was incredibly helpful with a few questions and little needs we had. We loved fishing off the dock, doing the fire pit, cooking a full thanksgiving meal in the well-equipped kitchen, playing games and watching football in the living room and basement, and just hanging out in all the lovely spaces. The bedrooms laid out perfectly for our group of my parents (took the master in the basement), a single friend, and my family of two adults and r kids ages 3-9. We could easily envision ourselves coming with another family! The showers and bathrooms were very nicely updated, too. We loved the restaurant just across the lake and the small local wine shop about ten minutes away. We can’t wait to come back to see more of what Lake Toxaway has to offer!!

Perfect for a family reunion!

This house has everything that you need to have a fun week with your family. The kitchen had it all! They even left some coffee and tea for us. There were water "toys" like a canoe, kayaks, and a paddle board. Great dock where we tied up our pontoon boat that we rented. The fire pit was very nice on cool nights. The house is really much nicer than the vrbo pictures which look a little outdated. There is even a sixth bedroom downstairs. It was one of the nicest houses we've ever rented. Many thanks

Wow!! I don’t know where to start…it was all fantastic!! We had our annual girls trip here and enjoyed the fabulous house and property!! We sat by the fire, enjoyed the lake view, rented a boat, went to the spa for amazing massages and ate at Greystone Inn!! And of course Hazel was the best…she’s always so attentive and helpful!! We highly recommend all Lake Toxaway has to offer!!

We loved everything about our stay!! The house and property were perfect!! Loved the backyard and all of the water toys. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Plan on renting again

The house manages to be both cozy and spacious - with a comfortable living room upstairs with a fireplace (which we used one cool evening), 6 bedrooms (the listing I think said 5, so we were pleasantly surprised) plus an office with a futon which could be used as an additional bedroom if needed. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of seating both inside and out for everyone. The dock was new and very nice, and there were several boats and a large raft which we and the kids (8, 11 and 13) enjoyed very much. We had a few fires down by the lake, and also had a lovely dinner just around the corner at the Greystone Inn. The marina at the Inn rents boats and we were able to get a very nice pontoon boat for a few days of tubing fun for the kids and then some evening wine/cheese cruises for the adults - we loved checking out the beautiful lake houses and all the decorations for the 4th of July. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for the family, and we ate outside almost every evening. We also were pleased to discover the Panthertown trailhead just up the road, which offered several great hikes to waterfalls and small summits with great overlooks (highly recommend the loop up and over Little Green). On the last day we also discovered the small trail to Toxaway falls just a little bit up the road from the house! We managed some outings to Highlands and Cashiers (great playground in Cashiers for the kids) and also some horseback riding nearby. Lots to do. Thanks so much for the lovely stay!

Property was in good condition. A bit dated in bathrooms. Property manager attempted to keep security deposit for service dog that accompanied a guest. After quoting disability statute for why this was illegal they then refunded deposit. Trip was nice until that situation occurred.

Everything was on site including extra gas for the grill All clean and ready for us Frankly rather easy and care free to rent and stay for a week

We had a great time! House was well stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed the location! Loved fishing and relaxing!

Lake Toxaway is our favorite place! The house gave our large family space fo everyone to find a quiet place or to gather together, play games. The table was perfect for our big family! We enjoyed all the activities, ping pong, kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. We had a great time.

This property was far more beautiful than the pictures on the Web site. It could possibly be the most lovely home we have ever rented. Hazel was amazing helping us with any of our needs which were minimal. The kitchen and the 2 refrigerators accommodated our group of teenagers very well. We woke every morning to the sound of the birds and the sun sparkling off the lake like diamonds. The kids as well as the adults loved the ping-pong table in the playroom and the water toys were the best. We would definitely rent here again.

Clean, well designed space for my 3 adult children and grandchildren. Great yard, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, 2 refrigerators in kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and room for all.

This home is wonderful for families. Lots of space plus a large yard make this great for kids. Hazel (property manager) is a joy to work with!

Vacation couldn't have been better - the property was exactly as listed, clean, the right size for us and very easy to rent, use and leave. Perfect and will do it again! Bill

House had plenty of sleeping room for 12 people. 6 adults and 6 children. Good waterfront location. House comfortable but somewhat dated by today’s standards. Downstairs playroom with ping pong table enjoyed by all. Downstairs TV did not work. Refrigerator freezer handle broken. No hot mats in kitchen. Downstairs bath needs spraying for bugs (lot of small catapiller type bugs every day on floor). Would still rent again if these things addressed.

This home is awesome, as if designed for my family. Upstairs was our college aged kids's bedrooms, master on main. For the boys, 2 great TVs to watch Thanksgivng football. One of the TVs is in the big family room on the level that opens out to the lake. In that family room was a ping pong table for us to see who was the family champ. Could not have had a more efficient kitchen...everything was perfect.
