We had a terrific vacation staying at this property. House was very clean and very nice. Comfortable beds and well laid out floor plan made this home great for our family (we have 2 young children). Owner was very communicative and accommodating. We were encouraged to rent a golf cart and that was the way to go. So easy to get to the beach with the golf cart and 49st public beach access was easy/pleasant. We got there early in the morning and pretty much had the beach to ourselves till around noon. Would recommend this rental.

Property was in a perfect location. We were in town for a baseball tournament and found a rec field just a few blocks over-happy accident! The house was beautiful and so much better than staying in a hotel. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our down time.

We had an amazing visit to Oak Island and loved this home. First, Janis was an attentive owner and made the entire arrival and check-in process very easy. Our trip consisted of two families - a total of 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids between the ages of 4-12). The house was very clean and spacious. With 8 people there was enough room for everyone to have privacy or spend time together. The kids loved the room upstairs and used it as playroom central and the bunk beds were a hit. The beds were comfortable and it was clear that bringing your own linens allowed the house cleaners to focus on cleaning every nook and cranny of the house, including mattress covers and quilts. All were very clean. The house is a great proximity to the beach and the fishing pier at the Intercoastal. It’s walking distance to the nature center as well. The outdoor areas of the home were fantastic, we ate on the covered porch area and relaxed in the rocking chairs almost every day of our stay. We are already planning our next stay!

We stayed here during our daughter’s wedding. The downstairs laundry area worked well for arranging flowers. It was also only about 35 minutes from the venue. Plenty of room for my family, my parents, and my brother-in-law’s family. Very clean and spacious with cool breezes coming through the lower porch. Enjoyed the beach and the town of Southport.

Oak Island is a very pleasant place to stay not overcrowded the beaches are great. And the home at 303 51st Street that we stayed in was very very nice very well represent it in its advertising.
