We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is charming, the views are beautiful & the children enjoyed all the outdoor fun while connecting to nature! We hope to return again this fall. The house is a short drive to hiking, restaurants & Boone.

Kids loved their first trip to the mountains. Perfect space for 2 kids and parents with all the games and outdoor fun you could ever need. Basement air hockey and foosball has been a topic of conversation since we left!

The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. The setting is absolutely stunning and there was so much for our kids to enjoy both outside and in. We have stayed many places and this is by far our favorite stay ever.

Very glad we chose to stay here, would highly recommend! Very clean and well stocked. Little ones have lots to do with multiple games in the basement and even a closet full of toys for little ones upstairs (our 4 year old daughter loved it). Nice tree fort and swings outside as well. The fire pit is steps from the front porch and well stocked firewood came in handy. If you’re debating just stop now and book this place, it’s the one.

Breathe Easy is a comfy, custom cabin with gorgeous views! It’s in a great location for touring the mountain towns and skiiing at sugar mountain. We came to town in the middle of a snowstorm so we chose to park at the bottom of the driveway and hike the half mile to the house. The owners live down the lane and graciously helped us get everything to the top. Would love to come back and experience this gem in other seasons.

My husband and i took our daughter here to celebrate her 13th birthday! This will be the vacation we talk about for years to come. Our family has never seen snow and it was all i wanted for my daughters birthday. We got snow and it was absolutely magical! The owners live a few feet from the cabin and they went above and beyond to accomodate us. They truly made our dream come true. The property was absolutely stunning and perfect for families. Everything was perfect. The place was so clean and you walk through the door put your stuff down and immediatley felt at home. The name of the property fits...you just Breathe Easy. Anyone considering this cabin book now you will not regret it! We cant wait to go back!!!!

We had an amazing time staying here! They boys loved the playground and various games downstairs. The view of Grandfather Mountain was perfect, especially during sunset. Great location. Russell and Christy were very accommodating especially since a storm hit the morning of our check out. They were more than helpful and very easy to get a hold of. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!

The cabin was everying we could hope for and more. Great views, spacious rooms, awsome gameroom with a kitchen and dinning room big enough to make us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay in the mountains of North Carolina and the "Breathe Easy" cabin fully satisfied our needs. The cabin was clean, well kept, well equipped, and comfortable. We throughly enjoyed grilling out, watching the sun set, and particularly the fire pit with a warm, cosy fire to sit by and roast marshmallows. The design and details of the cabin's features was impressive and so was the history surrounding the structure. Being a perfectionist and having a critical eye for details, this cabin is above par in comparison to the standards usually applied to home construction.

Loved this cabin. Very clean and wonderful views. Had everything we needed for a weekend trip. We will definitely be staying again!

Me, my wife and daughter wanted to spend a cool relaxing weekend in the mountains and escape the heat. We love the area but wanted a cozy house that had a view. Breathe Easy was perfect. We love the house. My wife's #1 priority is clean and this one is at the top. We enjoyed the fire-pit with the beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain. Even with the rain, it was relaxing sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee. The owners were close and Christy was welcoming and friendly! We had a fantastic time!

Breathe Easy was absolutely the best get away for our family! So accommodating for those who have children. The view was stunning. The cabin was immaculate. You can tell LOVE has been poured into this home. Tonsss of entertainment for the kids to enjoy- had lots of fun playing ping pong & air hockey downstairs. Outside there were swings, hammock, tree house & picnic area all of which our children loved! There’s also firewood available for you to make s’mores (which we did each night haha!) Plenty of space in the cabin for our family of 5. Super close to everything but far enough away you feel secluded. We were able to enjoy shopping, tweetsie railroad, & grandfather mountain during our stay. Pictures don’t do this beautiful cabin justice. 10/10 for us-We can’t wait to come back!

This beautiful moutain top home is exactly as advertised and easy to find. A lovely place to relax and feel the presence of God.

Yes, this cabin is as amazing as it looks in the pictures, and then some! It was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed every moment here playing games, having smores and exploring. We even got to see some fireflies and had a couple of visits from deer. The view is truly spectacular and it is obvious with every detail that the owners have created an absolute dream. We found the location to be perfect for exploring Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock and Boone, many great hiking trails, zipline, alpine coaster and more. Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to just relax and enjoy this special place. We are so glad we did and hope to return!

We loved our weekend at Breathe Easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful and we could have sat for hours with the view. Our boys loved exploring outdoors and the play areas inside. Kitchen had what we needed for easy meals. The cabin was exceptionally clean as well. Great time for our family of 4.

This was the perfect cabin with an impeccable view of Grandfather Mtn!!! The game room, tree house, swings and essentially everything was amazing. The photos are exactly as you find the home. Clean, fun, relaxing and the owners are incredibly sweet. We recommend to families of all ages. ❤️

This house is absolutely perfect for a family. Kitchen is well stocked to cook, linens are top notch and everything is super comfortable. Games - inside and outside is perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other. Location can’t be beat - close to Valle Crucis and the views of Grandfather mtn from porch are spectacular. Owners of home have done an amazing job. We will stay here again for sure!

Wonderful Stay

The whole stay at Breath Easy was beautiful. The view, the cabin, and the owners of the cabin. To wake up each day to see the sun rising across the mountains was amazing. The owners are a wonderful family that worked so hard to build the cabin. Every room has a unique story and to see the workmanship that went into every saw cut was so unique. I have been going to mountains for 26 years and now I know where I will be staying for any upcoming trips to the Appalachians.

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Breathe Easy Cabin. It was very clean and had everything you could need. My boys loved all the games and exploring around the property. We enjoyed the scenery most. It was a short distance to many attractions and things to do. We will definitely be back.

Especially for kids

The Cabin is beautiful inside and out with nice touches throughout. The view is stunning. My family was very comfortable and felt right at home. The owners did a great job making it a wonderful retreat for all ages from the game tables to the reading nook in the loft and my grandson's favorite - the tree fort. It's a perfect mix of rustic and modern, I would 100% recommend this cabin.

This cabin at the top of the mountain could not have been more perfect for our last minute family trip before school started. I am still blown away by all the little touches, from the games downstairs including softballs and gloves, homemade pinball, air hockey and ping pong to the close of kids toys to the amazing library…this place has it all. And that is just the inside! There is so much to explore and enjoy outside that we barely left the entire time we were there! We are literally counting the days until we can come back!!

Truly an outstanding experience! Our family had a getaway at this lovely property for the 4th of July! The view of Grandfather Mountain from the porch is absolutely breathtaking. The history of how the cabin was built make this experience so special. My kids loved the game room downstairs. It was perfect and the owners of the property make you feel right at home as they live down the road if you need anything! They are so friendly and personable. I can’t say enough about this property and our family was able to “Breathe Easy” on our getaway!

The place is beautiful and the views were even better.. the property owners live on the same hill and are awesome.. very helpful and friendly and gave us privacy at the same time... they had everything we needed to enjoy our stay (other than food of course). Couldn't be happier with our choice to stay in this amazing place.

Stayed over Christmas week. Beautiful cabin & property with spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain! Owners live next door and are incredibly friendly & helpful yet still respect your time away. They even had a Christmas tree set up & decorated on arrival which was a huge bonus for us! Home was super clean & modernly well appointed with an amazing story of how it came to be. Fun basement with air hockey, ping pong & fooseball. Plenty of space to explore, play & relax outdoors too. Especially loved just sitting around the fire pit with our family. As a help… “to know before you go” (most which are communicated upfront in the listing but still important to note) … 1) long steep drive up (important for winter months!) 2) only 1 bathroom (we made it work but it would have been great to have had at least an additional 1/2 bath in the basement for emergencies). 3) window area to loft bedroom have blinds but are open to downstairs (no glass for noise reduction to conversations & activities below so who like to go to bed early or sleep in late should stay in the downstairs room). 4) skylight in upstairs bedroom is directly above 1 of the beds making it impossible to sleep in (would be great to have a canvas cover you could roll over it & snap into place at night for longer zzzzzzz’s. 5) upstairs beds are full size so best for shorter people or smaller kiddos. But regardless, we thoroughly, thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the time we had at (& to) Breathe Easy and hope to visit again in the future!

Breathe Easy was the perfect cabin in the perfect location. The view of the mountains was stunning and perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. There are lots of activities for kids on the property and off site attractions are a short 10-20 min drive. Blowing Rock was definitely our favorite destination but we also went snow tubing at Hawks Nest and rode the mountain coaster in Banner Elk.

This is a special home with unique characteristics. Perfect location, remote (with deer and night sounds) yet within easy driving to several nearby towns and the Blue Ridge Parkway.. We enjoyed the firepit and the game room! One should be aware that the upstairs bedroom is not totally enclosed.

This cabin is wonderful on every level. It has a view that is unbelievable, excellent craftsmanship, firepit, perfectly designed landscaping, flowers, a little treehouse, a hammock, and even an apple tree. All ages will love it here. Just breathe easy.
